Yeah, many of Sinnoh's evolutions to earlier pokemon hit it off so naturally that they hardly seem like they were not created at the same time as the originals. The list includes Yanmega, Tangrowth, Electivire, Mamoswine, Togekiss, Gliscor, and (cough) Magnezone. nobody mention magmortar or rhyperior or lickilicky Anyway, I keep forgetting the timelines of many of the more insignificant/gimmick mons, like Corsola, Luvdisc or Delibird.
