[Answered] Squirtle Event not working?

So I followed the On the Hunt Pokemon guide to find Squirtle, and he isn't near the fountain. I talked to the guy in the building already and I'm currently clicking on random stuff in the grotto... Is there a certain weather condition that I need or something...?

you need to talk to the guy when it's raining.

You need to talk to the guy on a rainy day, but you'll find the Squirtle in the fountain on a clear day.

Also just double check that you're at the right fountain

Look for squirtle in gen 1, There's a video with a link for how to find it.

Squirtle replaced mudkip (Who is in the video) , just follow the video.

alright thanks everyone, I'll wait until it's a clear day for the squirtle to come
