Mystery Egg from Grand Hall

So I was wondering how to get this egg when you start off at the Grand Hall and 2 jerks rip you off for $1000 only to find out that someone stole it from them. The thief fled to Obsidia Ward, but I couldn't find him there. I am at Shelly's gym right now and I have yet to find that egg. Anyone know how to do thos side quest?

That's not the mystery egg. The mystery egg is from the police growlithe quest.

For the pokemon quest, it cannot be finished as of E15, and it's probably going to be some long, drawn out quest for magikarp. But here:

1. Grand Hall

2. House next to gates to Desert, near train tracks

3. Take the detour in the obsisia slums, where the box containing the scraggy initially blocks your path. There will be a punk you fight.

4. Talk to the gang member in north Obsisia, under the Magma Gang base. (not sure if interchangable with 5., depending on which gang you choose)

5. Talk to the gang member in Lapis, near the Aqua Gang base. (not sure if interchangable with 4. see above)

6. A person in 7th street (unlocked after the 8th? gym. 7th Street is unlocked for a storyline quest so you'll cone across it eventually.) sells it.

That's it, unless i missed something.

What person sells it in 7th street? i just fought the gang member in North Obsidia, south of magma base. I talked to everyone in 7th street, but no one is selling?
