nepeta100 57
i am now the proud owner of a relatively new adware called capricornus. Anyone have experience with dealing with these kinds of things what else should i do besides uninstall all the programs that were put under control panel not that urgent I could just put all the important stuff on A flash drive and reset my whole computer but I would prefer not to go through that ordeal update possibly fixed youtube does not work still but that might be another issue entirely update 2 less problems but still not gone entirely update 3 I think I finally did it
Commander 876
First and foremost, you should run a scan with Malware bytes in order to get rid of most adware/malware. I had a really bad string of malware on my old computer and it was an uphill battle to fix. You're going to have to also start by searching for the exact files the adware inserted onto your computer and probably wipe the internet browsers you use (you should wipe them as it might end up forcing you to repeat the whole process again). It's also important to uninstall the said program as well, but that's a given.
DarkSpite 0
I was plagued with adware as well and followed this guide to clean my PC. No more annoying invisible links when I try to click on things.
Felix~ 240
Kick the malware in the knees. Or just hunt it down, if you can keep an eye on your downloads and what passes for regular on your Pc you can pick out the abnormalities and remove it.
