Monochrome_Complex Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 He's not THAT bad. He's okay for the early game although there's better early game poison/bug types. Please note that ariados was never meant to be a battle pokemon in any game he's in(even gen 2), but rather more suited for catching other pokemon. I think you can use him to breed some good moves onto other pokemon too. I had one I used up till like level 45, he started off TERRIBLE as spinarak but was pretty useful up till around aya. He's was actually helpful against shade. Quote
