Nope unfortunately. Shade used to give out Shadow Ball, but it has been replaced with Shadow Claw recently.

Are you sure, I think I recall the TM for Shadow Ball existing somewhere in the game ( I have a faint memory of thinking "wow thnx game, I totally didn't already have this TM from shade" )

Nope unfortunately. Like Xiri stated, as of Episode 15, Shade gives out Shadow Claw instead of Shadow Ball.

The new In-game Item Guide V2 pretty much reaffirms this.

That's more or less exactly what I said.

You are most likely gonna get it in one of the upcoming episodes. Just like when the Grass Knot/Nature Power switch was done for Florinia, where that one Meteor base gives you whichever one you don't have, that's most likely what's gonna be done with Shadow Ball/Claw.

And if you picked up a duplicate TM, it might've been Rock Smash, that's a bug some people have had. To make sure, check if you have the Secret Power TM (found where Mudkip was in the Wasteland).

You won't until the TM for Shadow Ball is reintroduced into the game somewhere. Where, if you already have Shadow Ball, you will get Shadow Claw instead. Whichever one you don't have is still unobtainable for now.
