The chances are increased a ton compared to official games. I think there's a 1% chance. In the main games it's less than 1%.

The shiny rate is iirc 250/8192 which is roughly 3 percent. So they're still rare but not like worth screaming "Mom get the camera"

Ok nice, I have never gotten a shiny on an official game, so I was a little worried that my luck came through on here haha..

Holy crud its a timid nature too; although bad ivs.

Same. Timid Shiny Delphox? Definitely worth keeping. Having a good nature is the most important imo. You can always EV train if you find particular stats lacking. :)

Ok that explains a lot because I found a shiny Oddish and a shiny Tranquil.

It's actually 700/65536 which is 1.07%. 3% would be a bit too much.

Tbh shinies aren't so special in Reborn, I found a bunch of them. I saw a large amount of shiny woobats while EV training (But I killed them all MUAHAHA). When I started the game I got shiny froakie but it had lame IVs so I didn't keep it. I prefer my normal Greninja with perfect sp atk IVs.

You can always change the pokemons nature later in game, IV's are the only thing you cant change. So IV's are most important.

Last tiMe I started Reborn, I got a shiny Froakie and I was like: OMG A SHINY POKEMON!!!! Later, as I traveled around the region, I found many other shinies and I realized it is more easy to find them in this game. Anyways I always get excited when I find one.
