Anyone know if certain pokemon are shiny locked?

Sorry, I'm not quite sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but it looked the most promising lol. Anyways, would anyone happen to know if certain pokemon are shiny locked in Reborn? I'm trying to soft reset for a shiny esperr in the house near the first gym, so far no shiny yet. Just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time trying to soft reset for one if it can't even be shiny to begin with lol

well apart from porygon at a certain point in the game its always shiny (locked on) xD

The only guaranteed shiny I can think of is Shade's... And even then, it's uncatchable. All wild Pokemon's shiny rates are the same. If memory serves, that rate is around 1%.

A certain location has 100% shiny [something] and that's all that are available to catch there. All pokemon have a 700/65536 chance of being shiny in Reborn.

If you're referring to the Medicham I think you're referring to,

Today while trying to catch that Ghastly I fought against a shiny Medicham, yes. But it was Blue instead of the usual black.....

That's a gender-related issue. I can't remember which one was which, but one's shiny form is blue and the other one is black.

That's a gender-related issue. I can't remember which one was which, but one's shiny form is blue and the other one is black.

Pretty sure Male is Blue, Female is the black one; it has firey flames around it I'm /pretty/ sure.
