Explore the new Garufa Ruins under Carotos Mountain, after completing .Karma Files.

As I found out you don't even need to complete the .Karma Files stuff. It just merely has to be in progress. How I know is because I did the endgame part of the Files, reloaded to the point before I finished 13.5, and then just did other stuff. So it just has to be in progress, which is nice.

  2. I'm just curious about the Regirock side quest and the implications of that. Because if you destroy the terminal you free some ghosts that you've never seen before but it also frees Aelita from being forcefully reincarnated forever, if not reimplementing a stronger curse for the next Envoy. The downside is that people will die. But if you leave things as is then you throw Aelita under the bus but you can save the world.

sort of did it, though I just wanted to see what else happens after catching Regirock before reloading my save. I kinda hope that boss battle is winnable. Like it's obviously not meant to be won but it'd be interesting if it was.

Edit: I just wonder if it'll have any ramifications down the line or if its purely flavour text.

Aquamarine cave got one too where you get Galarian Slowpoke. it gives 2 or three shards.

Epic. 8 (since it gives 3) shards per day is nothing but still helps with progress. Also does said Slowpoke come out at night or just in a specific room? I have a feeling its the former due to the lighthouse quest needing to be done first.

  4. Also for my nonexistent two cents into the 13.5 stuff, while I haven't played Renegade (and I don't even think I would be able to due to my compulsion to do basically everything, including side quests) I kinda miss the days when Rejuvenation was a pseudo Reborn sequel. Like I know it isn't but with the early references of Reborn characters, that one side quest in postgame Reborn where you team up with Flora to get a Pulse Machine which leads to events in Rejuv with Bladestar and the optional boss fight, it all made sense to a degree.

But now with this plot twist of "Arceus is actually dead and humans killed it" throws that old fun thought of Rejuv being years later after Reborn out the window. I could even buy the Interceptor not being involved in Reborn because it wasn't serious enough or the karma machine tried but was stopped by this ragtag bunch of trainers. But even then that gets a wrench thrown into things because it was all predetermined this whole time.

It's very minor at the end of the day but that was a fun little thought experiment I had with the contextual knowledge of Reborn and the quests that happened there.

Well i will go and kill the rest of my braincells by grinding 999 black prisms. 1/3 there already. Not exactly hard, just outlandishly tedious. If it will not give me a Marshadow i'm gonna lose it.

If it helps (it might not) at Axis University there is a rematch butterfly there that upon beating it it gives you 5 black prisms. It seems to work on a daily system so you can fight a double battle, win 5 of each shard in addition to 5 prisms and slightly speed it up. There's one that does the same in Amethyst Grotto, albeit that one only gives 1 prism. I imagine there are more out there since they're scaled to certain levels but I only know of those two so far.

  6. Side note, sorry for interrupting this very cool Renegade route stuff, but what is the deal with Route Z? I know that there's someone there (think a new person for the 13.5 update because I certainly don't remember em any other time) but he talks about a notebook from a factory that mentioned a certain Pokemon. Any clue what this Pokemon might even be? Tried Shaymin and that didn't work so I'm stumped.

  7. The Aevian Shellos can also be found in Route 6, otherwise known as Valor Shore. So there might be an east/west deal going for them as well. I'm currently doing a quest for Aevian Jangmo-o but as for where and how you get it would be technically spoiler territory.

Didn't even know Wimpod was an option.

Shroomish can be found in Darchlight Woods and Bronzor can be found in the caves variant.

While I found Aevian Sewaddle over at Route 9, from backtracking I think the vs battle over in Goldenwood Forest now gives an Aevian Sewaddle instead of a normal one. Can't say for certain as this is just a guess on my part.

Black Prism pokemon are a 1/100 chance to appear. Additionally, you can find Prisms from other events in the game, such as Route 6 boats, and some other secret events that you can find later on in the story.

Oh so the rate of a shiny pokemon. That's handy to know actually thanks. Man I can't imagine the insane people trying to get a Prism Shiny Pokemon. Kudos to those people I guess.

  9. Something new that I have a feeling is intentional: Back during v13 after beating Adam and dealing with the tournament arc you could go to a move rememberer and be able to learn egg moves

Under this new update however it seems that this is no longer the case, or if it still is then I got no idea where the egg move tutor would be.

Exactly how many new Aevian forms are in Update V13.5? Please don't tell me what they are, just how many there are and vaguely when you obtain them.

I can only say for about a few of them so far, but I know that two are on Terajuma Island, one you get in a quest in the Badlands, another set of two on Terrial Island in the woods and cave, one you can get via help center quest, and one you find in a tower at GDC. That's all the ones I currently know of. Others I've seen but don't know how to access.

  11. I think its kinda funny how on the nuzlocke forums you're just a happy little gnome looking thing. But you're still the sour trainer we know and like deep down.

This part of the story will be interesting to see. Since V13 changed the fights to be more SwSh like it was only against Rift Aelita and nothing else. Just you and a tag team battle with Erin. The wiki showed what the fight was before hand since it was out of date at the time and I think you might or might not have an easy time with it. Think being the keyword here.

Souta being cleaned up so easily makes me jealous if only because why couldn't my fight with him be as easy? He was considered along with Angie to be some of the hardest gym battles in the game, though I don't know which update earned him that title for sure. V13 had him nerfed apparently a bit but its been awhile.

That's...uh...a bit weirder than what we got.
Does Melia have multiple personality disorder in the new timeline that fucking EMMA is the strong one?

Also the first time we met?
When she bumped into me in the hallway and apologised?
    Really touching moment there.

    ...

In my defense I relooked over the video and the cutscene was more referring to the proper meeting, that being down in the sewers with the shiny Trubbish and Garbodor. Like that mentality of "seen someone in passing and you know their face, but you haven't officially met them as of yet." So for that moment being down in the sewers was the proper meeting for you and Melia. Semantics yes but for the purposes of friendship that's where you met to be friends and not in the hall where you bumped into her.

    Oh word?
I think I prefer that to whatever the fuck went on here.

(Although I think there was some nonsense about Melanie somehow polluting the ENTIRE ocean?)
Surely she still has her awakening moment, right? How else do the powers get explained?

Watching someone do a Monofire run, how she got the awakening moment is by both a combo of you dying again (Melia dies too I think) and a pep talk from herself. Specifically her Emma persona from Blacksteeple Castle. You go down memory lane, see the first time Melia met Venam and Ren, and the now strained relationship with him. It also talks about you when you two first met. But in the cutscene you aren't there anymore, because you of course, are dead.

At the end of it you fight Emma using Melia's team vs her 3 Pokemon, reiterate that Melia went on the journey not to stop Team Xen, but to repay a debt because she actually went out to save a friend. The bow that you and Venam got for Melia also appears, saying that its transcended time and space to show that friendship with them is eternal. Melia points out that you the MC died but Emma rebukes it with basically "hey stupid we can get a time diamond and go back in time to prevent that from happening." Then her and a mysterious ??? ghost says 'Destiny is not set'. Spoopy.

The kicker is also the fact that Melia also made a promise to the MC's mother to look after you in her stead. Melia realizes that "oh damn I wouldn't have made it here if it were for my friends" and wakes up, turning into her golden form. Then you come back to life, Madam X is cryptic, then you team up with Melia to beat the shit out of a child. Then said child tries to Decimate you again but gets occupied by Mimikyu distracting it. Then Melia and Melanie fuse, Melia uses her power unintentionally to restore part of the world (aka the Castle area) and then mostly everything is all good.

There's also the fact that you overlap with your previous selves right in front of Cella, cutting time on that front.

Not as dramatic as what you saw and went through but I would say its a bit of an improvement.

  14. I recommend Eelektross. As someone who is using it myself, it's a pretty strong pokemon if you build it right. It's not exactly the most defensive but it has a good movepool. It also covers the special attacker role quite well, as the difference between both attack stats is negligible at best (115 for attack, 105 for special). With how people build it though, you'll only need one physical move such as drain punch. Or even go all in and add giga drain to it. Because of its slow ass base speed of 50, it can serve decently well in trick room teams, especially since it'll be the mon to take a hit first in battle. It's what the draining moves are for thankfully but it's something to keep in mind. And since there will be absolutely zero speed investment into it, just pump HP instead so that it can eat another hit.

Another two important things to consider is the fact that levitate makes it functionally immune to ground moves as long as you aren't in a cave field, but it also prevents access to the grounded effects of fields as well. This can be a plus or a negative depending on the field. Grassy field you can't heal on it but burning makes it so that you can't take damage at the end of every turn.

The other thing is how its previous evolution Eelektrik has access to thunderbolt innately at level 44, just 5 levels after its previous form. So once you have thunderbolt you can cruise along well enough when it comes to strong electric type moves. And with a good special attack investment it can likely cause a lot of damage.

But yeah that's my recommendation for other party members.

having some serious trouble with radomus, due to trick room shenanigans and not being able to keep track of all the chess board rules. i just need some advice on where in my party to put everyone, and i can figure it out from there. i have access to heart scales as well if there are any better moves i can access from the move reminder.

    donphan lv59 -- sturdy

    earthquake

    bulldoze

    giga impact

    body slam

Trash it. Find a different ground type that can learn stomping tantrum. Only that move, in addition to Tectonic Rage and Splintered Stormshards can get rid of the field.

So unless the plan is to learn how the chess board works, you're better off destroying the field entirely. Golurk helps a little with that (not that there's many options with learning it through level up, as there are a grand total of 8 pokemon as of SuMo/USUM), though I recommend trick room first. Use that, destroy the field, and bulldoze Radomus with your pokemon.

Aevian Milotic got the same stats as normal one, just on the phys side, but thanks to the typing i found myself using it more as an offensive pokemon than anything, but it can be whatever you want it ot be. It got Toxic, Pain Split, Charm and whatnot for being tanky, Gunk Shot, Play Rough and cover for being offensive.

Another thing I will point out, mostly for OP, is that it has merciless as one of it's primary abilities, an ability normally exclusive to Mareanie and Toxapex. Unlike those two however, A-Milotic has an actual attack stat to back it up. So have someone with toxic spikes and then just critical hit them all day. It might not always help, but if you're facing a particularly bulky pokemon, having always on critical hits is not bad offensively.

  17. Honestly the Typhlosion Crest, minus the Parental Bond part of it, is more or less course correcting what has always been a problem with Typhlosion: It's oddly high physical based moveset despite the high special attack it has.

Granted the reason for this is because fire types were special moves back in the day, even if they did have a physical element to them. But that worked in the older gen games. It doesn't work now, where we have the physical/special split and Typhlosion's moves didn't 100% get updated to match.

Even the Hisuian variant, having an even higher special attack (not by much, 119 for Hisuian and 109 for regular) still gets a good chunk of physical moves until late level where it gets flamethrower and overheat. You mostly need TMs in order to make Typhlosion viable with its moveset.

I wouldn't say OP since Typhlosion isn't exactly a very powerful Pokemon, being monotype and all but thanks for answering my question!
These Crest really make some outcast pokemons shine, I say the Zangoose one is OP, a Crest that makes him Poison AND the poison actually heals? OOf..
    Again, thanks!

The Zangoose one isn't really that OP when you think about it. For the most part it has really middling stats, and if you do run it, chances are that you'll slap a toxic orb onto it anyway to get full advantage of Toxic Boost. The difference is that the crest gives it Poison Heal so that it can heal chip damage instead of lowering it. Gives it a chance to shine at least but other than that you would need to dedicate time into Zangoose.
