  1. There are the ones from the post that Grinnerz linked, this one, and apparently a few hidden extras.
  2. Yeah, from this post it seems that Solaris, Sirius, Zero, Aster and Eclipse(although her real name has been revealed; Caitlyn Fisher) are all using code names.
  3. True, although there might be a quest/event that we have to do first that allows us to bypass lvl 100 which comes after this battle. Lin's been hyped up to be the champion and I doubt she'll give us some type of qualification that allows us to exceed lvl 100 seeing that she likely dies after our battle; though the Grand Hall could award us with such a thing, idk. I'm expecting it to be something like the DJ Arclight Mega Z-ring quest. It could also be a Victory Road battle, I believe the trainers there are based on old community members and/or teams from the original online league which could explain the gamer-like language and the ghost-like appearance seeing that those people aren't likely to be around in the community no more. Lvl 100 seems a bit to late in the game to introduce a new trainer class unless they is related to a specific location(which I can't think of one that fits from main story locations that we know about but are yet to explore(besides Victory Road)).
  4. My first thoughts are that it is either an NPC in a postgame sidequest, or some ancient guardian-type spirit deep in the Citae Arc-d'Astrae(though the dialogue and background don't really seem fitting for that).
  5. I think you may be right with that
  6. Only like a month left until this thread becomes redundant :(
  7. I've gotta agree with this; Sirius is cunning and knows when to act like in Agate city in the Reshiram route, or at the CCC where he strikes after the battle when our Pokemon are weakened(although he only appears some time later), and waits until Eclipse starts giving us classified information about Lin. This is likely due to, as you say him knowing he can't win 1v1, so he uses Aster&Eclipse and us to do the dirty work so that he can deal the final blow. He has been described many times as having a 'history is written by the winners' mentality, hinting at that he wants to ultimately lead Team Meteor for his own goals. Once he learns that the gemstones that Radomus gave to him to turn into jewelry were keys to something so powerful, he joins Team Meteor to try and reclaim them as he now shares a common goal, and tells Solaris about the jewelry(as hinted in his Agate city dialogue(Reshiram)). With his Emerald brooch that he gives Solaris(who gave it to El), he seeks out the Ruby ring and Sapphire bracelets, succeeding in getting one key. Having seemingly proven his loyalty through commitment and retrieving two keys, he rises through the ranks which allows him to become more powerful. Using his power, he recruits Sigmund and the orderlies(which he says their contracts are with him, not necessarily Team Meteor) and seeks out the Amethyst pendant and the lost Ruby ring. Sirius cleverly uses the Meteor grunts at Belrose mansion as their contracts aren't with him but rather Solaris, so when Saphira slaughters those several grunts she is really strengthening Sirius and weakening Solaris. In the final few episodes, Team Meteor consists highly of orderlies, and has much less grunts showing that Sirius has a much bigger influence in Team Meteor than he did at the start of the game. Why do I bring this all of this up? Well, his actions seem to suggest that he is self-centered and that he wants to be on top, so I propose a theory; Sirius is using Team Meteor for his own goals and he plans on betraying them as well as Lin. He know he can't do it alone, so he uses others to get his way and push himself higher. This is shown as discussed in Agate city, where he uses us to beat Solaris. Solaris' only advantage over Sirius was strength, so now that Sirius has a fully healed team whilst Solaris has the opposite, Sirius can freely lampoon Solaris and humiliate him to the point of resignation, or as you suggested suicide/death. This would place him 2nd in charge in the team which would only give him Lin to worry about. He could plan on using us much like Lin is, and wait for us to beat Lin before he strikes at our weakened selves(which could explain why he spared us at Tanzan, though he did try to kill us at the CCC(perhaps it was an act to again prove his loyalty in front of the other grunts)). His diary entry from before he joined Team Meteor has several idioms in it, one of which predicts Corey's assault so could his mention of the sword be foreshadowing his death? After all the Dev's have hinted at Lin being the final battle in the main story, so Sirius' plans probably get thwarted as I doubt he will be the final boss(though a very small part of me is open to the idea; it would definitely be unexpected to a large majority of players). Sirius is a major, reoccurring character but despite this we only battle him once, while we battle other important people like Solaris multiple times so this too could suggest he has a much bigger role coming up(which has been hinted at in a Dev Blog post, though I think it is PULSE related, maybe he wields PULSE Clawitzer?).
  8. And I totally agree with that, but Sirius didn't know that Lin knew nor did he know that Lin was and still wanted to use him, so in that moment I believe he did it for both of us, but probably more-so for us as he would have known that we were at a greater risk of death. Also I know there was a discussion months(?) ago about liking evil characters, but is it bad for one to like Sirius seeing how he is arguably the most evil character in the game without any/many redeeming qualities? Asking for a friend... Ugh, competition
  9. Not exactly a redeeming quality, but he did cover for us at the Tanzan Meteor base. Even if it was because Lin would kill all of them + us, she probably would have killed Sirius once we left as she would be curious as to where the "new, helpful recruit" went(though she did see through the lie and seemingly didn't care), so you could argue that he did it out of respect for us dealing with Abra, or just didn't think it through I would imagine that the last sticker quest is in Labradorra, probably something to do with cleaning up the city after Team Meteor Jeez man, wait in line smh
  10. Dev battles have been confirmed here, but I don't think there has been any mention as to if they are gauntlet-style or if each one is individual(though I would assume the latter is more likely).
  11. Roark uses a Tyranitar in his Platinum rematch(and BDSP?), Blue has one in HGSS if you call him, Grimsley uses one in BW2 in his Challenge mode rematch, Gordie apparently has one in SWSH in a rematch and also how can you possibly forget about Veteran Vincent on Route 18 in BW2. But yeah, no major trainer in their main battles.
  12. I think it is how many times someone has whited-out against him, or how many people have whited-out to him
  13. I would imagine it is because Flash isn't a necessity to progress through the game unlike the other TMX's, so they hid it as a reward for the people who are willing to explore the additional places that aren't main story related.
  14. That does sound like a very good idea, though we'd have to see what the rest of her team is like as she could have 1 or 2 slow tanky mon's. Also would probably have to slap a Focus Sash on the Trick Room user as some decent moves get a x2 boost like Meteor Mash, Moonblast, Draco Meteor and Spacial Rend(Nature Power), plus the Dark type boost of 1.5x. Old mate Radomus coming to save the day again it seems.
  15. Could work, although it would mean a lot of soft-resets(although they are supposed to be even faster now). In before Lin uses a Sturdy Magnezone...
  16. I believe they mentioned there being a password that allows you to adjust the levels of trainers pokemon, and so if this is true then you could make every trainers pokemon 5 or so levels higher to compensate for everything else being easier.
  17. The artwork on the Reborn Twitter page of Ace made by a Dev shows what appears to be a Zorua, so although Ace isn't someone's alter-ego they could use Zoroark's illusion to appear to be someone else, after all they are apparently a master of illusions.
  18. The downside to using a Choice Scarf is that Lin will get a somewhat free switch-in to something that resists Dragon once Hydreigon goes down, plus the -2 SpA (although the x2 boost will negate this). I like the idea of a magical seed, but as you say this leaves Hydreigon vulnerable, so I think it being able to bypass lvl 100 will be the best course of action. I can only think of Noivern that will be able to outspeed and one-shot a lvl 100< Hydreigon on the New World field without a Choice Scarf or Air Balloon, which will add the much needed challenge to the battle. If Hydreigon was capped at lvl 100, then the likes of Flygon and Salamence come into the mix, as well as the previously mentioned speed-tying Hydreigon; a lot more options. Though Noivern can crush Hydreigon, it is practically a sitting duck if Lin has a Fairy type or Metagross(Heat Wave does less than half if Timid, even less if Metagross has Magical seed) so it wouldn't be super OP, especially if the new AI can predict a Draco Meteor.
  19. I may have missed something, but this is from Cass' 2019 dev blog post about levels: "while also making it so that further levelups aren't absolutely necessary to complete the main postgame content (and overleveling won't even be possible before you finish the League)." I've interpreted this as that we won't be able to go past lvl 100 until the postgame, but the AI can. This would likely be because the final gym badge in other games removes all level restrictions, allowing for someone to overlevel as much as they want(though the restrictions only applied to traded pokemon). It's common knowledge at this point that we will be alllowed to go to level 100 after Saphira, and so it would be crippling for the Elite 4 and Lin if we can match them in level. For example, assuming Lin uses a Darkinium-Z Hydreigon, if I enter the battle with my own lvl 100 Hydreigon then I already have a speed-tie. If I put a scarf on my Hydreigon, then I can nuke her with a Draco. +2 252 SpA Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Hydreigon: 698-824 (179.8 - 212.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO Yes, if she was above the level of my Hydreigon, then she'd still get destroyed due to the scarf, but it eliminates the speed-tie as I could have given my own Hydreigon a better item to take care of her other pokemon and relied on soft-resetting to win the speed-tie. Again, I could be wrong or am missing something but I believe that the AI will breach the lvl 100 level cap in order to maintain a higher difficulty.
  20. I'm not familiar with Colosseum and XD, but I believe Agate City follows a near-identical layout to Agate Village. I recall hearing that they are indeed the same place, and some mysterious force moved Agate to Reborn from Orre.
  21. I doubt the Dev's would give a grunt an Ultra Beast seeing that no trainer has used one yet, and storming Labradorra is probably the first thing we do in E19, where Kenan is the first grunt we face there. Also unlikely he'll get the Arceus-wannabe for the same reasons, but I'd say that there is a better chance of this happening. His current team(which is constantly swapping 'mons with another Meteor) consists of some pretty basic Pokemon. I'll list every Pokemon he has used in spoilers, alongside those used by Meteor ace Diana(whom he swaps with) I wouldn't be surprised though if he picks up a new member or two.
  22. Nah, no Manaphy yet. Also Type Null and Silvally are technically Legendary(though I hate the fact that they are).
