I do think that Nihilego was involved in Storm-9. When exploring the Badlands, and as you get further north in Hiyoshi City and closer towards the Ecylsia Pyramid, it is pointed out that it looks like the stone statues of people are "running from something." Since bombs are generally instantaneous, it wouldn't really make sense for them all to be running from that imo, and I think that if they were running from Nihilego it would really tie in the flashback Taelia had in WLL.
My personal theory about the time travelling duo stems from what Erin said in Blakeory Athenaeum:
There were three things that stuck out to me while reading. The incident at the plant was caused by 10 individuals. All died at the site. Eight of them were unidentifiable, but for some strange reason, the ninth and tenth ones were. The ninth person was a woman named Freya. She was part of the International Police, and was discovered to be the reason the plant went under. Other than those two bits of information, I couldn’t find anything else on her.
A lot of people have been speculating that the red-haired girl is Freya. This kinda comes from Saki's story about the door in Aquamarine Cave.
Oh yeah after I got thrown off the boat I was found by this red-haired girl named, um... Actually, she never told me her name. We were able to find the door to this place, but then she disappeared... But then shortly after she appeared again, but she was in a totally different outfit! Then we were attacked by this huge blue whale and she was BAM and the whale was like ‘stop pls’ ... After she beat up the blue whale, she walked up to me in a kinda bitchy way. She said something like ‘Remember this name, Fre... Frey... Freid...’? Well, I forgot.
Saki's description matches up with her in both appearance and behavior.
So what does this mean? I feel like the time traveling duo, Freya and Kieran, are part of the International Police, or at least were originally. This would explain their matching uniform-like outfits. It's possible that they have teamed up with Madame X in order to oppose Indriad's plan somehow. However, I think it is possible that they come from another dimension, the future (possibly another bad one), or are somehow related to the Garufan Civilization.
aside: While I originally thought that they might literally be from the Garufan Civlization (since they've been proved to be pretty high-tech), that theory was invalidated by the fact that Freya and Kieran don't fully understand the purpose behind the Eclysia Pyramid.
However, coming from the same time would match up with the fact that they both speak with weird sayings and use words that a lot of the characters can't relate to (i.e. Kieran explaining to Huey what an arc is).
I don't think that they are completely affiliated with Team Xen, however. While they appeared to be teaming up with Madame X in the latest chapter, previously Kieran had referred to Ren's Xen Uniform as "disgraceful" (back in Hiyoshi City). So I'm not entirely sure that they're fully allied as opposed to happening to have the same goals/intentions back at Eclysia, and working together in order to achieve them. Or Kieran was just fcking with Ren, that's also possible.
The other question is, why would Freya want "the maiden of reincarnation" dead (or at least, without a soul)? Perhaps, if she was a part of the International Police, she was attempting to assassinate her for crimes against time / human nature, or being dangerously powerful? It's still unclear.
red haired time traveler (still don't feel like calling her freya lol) didn't want the maiden of reincarnation dead, her objective was to open amethyst cave. all the actions after that were to fuck with keta's mind, but taelia wasn't being targeted by her

they appear in rejuvenation but aren't custom made, yet they aren't made for any game

this thread is, so far, not going to help you (obviously no offense intended to everyone here). smogon is useless without knowing what point of the game you're at and what is available (in general) and what is not (i believe mimikyu thought this was the reborn section)
could you please say what part of the game you're at? it will make the work both easier and more productive.

might be wrong. looked at all the instances of erin/magnolia in the doc and didn't find anything, and in the q&a thread
jan replies to a question regarding the meeting with erin in the library and doesn't mention a quest ("just makes the world feel more alive")

Spoilergarbodor is put in a machine by erick, in order to save it (doesn't have any effect on v12 AFAIK)
anyways this glitch is well known i think, might be good to go in the troubleshooting section, specifically this thread
so that someone might fix your savefile (major/fatal bugs thread too might be worth posting in, though i've seen multiple reports of the bug already so not sure if it'd clog up the thread)

(all considering intense + no items/set mode)
lorna was disappointing, but my team did have a really good matchup vs her
(also everyone says zetta+geara is the hardest but i found them to be very easy)
ryland was hard because i had no true strat (then i 2 tried it with ditto)
aod was the only fight which required cheese strats (destiny bond inkay), so i'd say it's the hardest (if i had misty terrain sylveon or something along those lines it could've been easier i guess)
angie was also the hardest leader, again i didn't have any strat so that hurt me definitely
keta 2 was also as hard as aod and angie, again might have been a lack of strategy but i doubt it was (at the very least couldn't only have been that)
souta was hard as well, i had a bit of luck with circumstances (had alolan raichu + luxray in my pc) so if the situation was any different he could be the hardest (also could count as cheese since i did change terrain)
puppet masters gave me a lot of trouble too, but again maybe it was my fault that i didn't strategize at all
vivian was also an interesting fight. not on the level of all of those but it did take me a while as well, that florges was pretty annoying
finally special shoutouts to adam, if i didn't use the greninja glitch i'd probably have struggled a bit more

1 - mc is canonically around the age of 18. unless they became a champion at like 13 or something this theory doesn't hold up
2 - you'd expect someone from the league to take notice (yeah i suppose you can argue that more recent leaders wouldn't remember the mc but unless all leaders have been there for no more than a few years it's unlikely)
3 - wll shows that keta became a gym leader not too long before the mc arrives in sheridan for the first time (aelita looks the same age as she does in chapter 2), the league being established has been therefore a somewhat recent event

there isn't. most intense trainers aren't too hard though (aside from sidequests where they're meant to be minibosses). i suppose you could try messing around a bit with the PBS files but it'd take a decent amount of time

So I did what you said made backups, delete files, reinstall rejuv and paste the savefiles back in. So I still get the critical error but it works now? I was on Save Slot 1 went to Slot 2 continue got the critical error, reopened the game and puts me on Slot 2. I press continue and I can now play the file again. The same thing happens if I go from Slot 2 to 1. Every time I want to switch Save Slots I get the critical error well at least now the game is playable I guess.
happens sometimes to me as well. you just get used to it unfortunately lol

so you always get the critical error?
if you don't want to lose your saved file you can make a backup of it, go in C:\Users\(your computer name)\Saved Games, go in the rejuvenation folder and copy the completionist save file (should be Game.rxdata) to some other folder
you could then try to delete every single file (if you care about the other savefile just back it up as well) and reinstall rejuvenation. then just go back to the folder and paste the savefiles back in
not entirely sure of how much it'd help, seeing as it's more fit for the troubleshooting section i feel like

they're referring to chapter 13, where you can't go back to gearen. it's the chapter right after souta

chapter 5 is first arrival in terajuma, so eventually just get a thunderstone, save before using it and when you're in terajuma use it. chapters 5 and 6 aren't too long from what i remember

pancake is in terajuma island (teila resort, chapter 7). i remember hearing that a thunderstone in terajuma (anywhere) works as well, don't count on it though.
for happiness you could buy the ice creams (iirc) in route 3 (iirc again) or get it a haircut in gearen

if "that day" is storm-9, does it mean nihilego caused s-9?
in which case could the:
- time traveling duo have been allied with indriad since then (in support of i forgot who's theory here)
- time traveling "duo" have more people (so it's not red haired/kieran only, which could make sense since they're connected to ultra beasts)
although i suppose a few questions turn up immediately, like how would vivian's blessing stop nihilego?

sorry if i'm being aggressive here. my issue is that you likely don't seem to have played rejuv (which is fine). i understand you have good intentions but if you speak without knowing what you are speaking about it floods the thread and doesn't really help the op
