I don't really have any better general teambuilding advice, but one thing that makes the first fight a lot easier is if you can destroy Ribombee before it sets up Sticky Web. That's probably the biggest priority in that fight. In my case, I couldn't win without setting my Mamoswine and Greninja in my first two slots and targeting it with priority moves on the first turn. And even then I think Water Shuriken had to hit 3 times.

When I first got to the Arc fight my mons were on half health, luckily you can make it all the way back to the machine next to the Victoria fight to heal up once you know the routes well enough to avoid being shocked

Joltik did really well for me in this fight. He was able to beat Oroico and then managed to hit Electrode with 2 Electrowebs before going down, which slowed it down enough that the rest of my team could deal with it. I think he was level 16 at the time.
