Vectoring in this game has made stocks take as long to take down as DI in Brawl has, though. It's to the point where they've had to reduce it to 2 stocks to compensate for the slowdown, although vectoring does at least have more variance than DI does.

I don't know enough about either to comment on it (I intend to check out both though), but I get the feeling Ufotable would secure interest in the series if they animated hollow ataraxia first, since it's also in the line of the current fate universe they've animated so far (zero, stay night). Since Apocrypha is a more standalone title it'd be better if it had enough interest from the series prior to being animated. The Fate series does have a lot of renown, but still a lot of viewers tend to overlook it (though if Heaven's Feel is done well enough that would actually probably be enough to boost it higher alone provided people decide to watch it to begin with, because Heaven's Feel is fantastic) Also Lancer in those hawaiian-looking clothes yes

Seconding Fate/Zero and Katanagatari here, also adding Baccano and it's younger brother Durarara here, both of which tend to have something for everyone.

Actually, she is currently under the condition known as "heavily linked to main character", meaning that she receives some of the plot immunity that he does, thus lowering her death flag. I spent 10 years hypothesizing that

In general, the Fate series is pretty masterful at performing this, to at least an entertaining degree, to at most something masterfully done. Waver and Rider, never forget. Bless that fucking duo.

Let me reinforce this second point in that not only the protagonist-like characters, but also the antagonists and villains presented/portrayed in Fate/Zero are actually deep, interesting characters who either properly develop or reveal themselves and their personality more. If I'd have to give a spoileriffic example:

you simply beat gilgamesh by using his gilgameshness to your advantage you fool I'd argue fate isn't wholly action-packed as there is a lot of focus on plot, development and intrigue but there generally tends to be at least one gorgeously animated action scene once every two episodes unless you're watching studio DEEN's original adaptation of fate which you shouldn't

Strangely enough, I got into the series from ufotable's fate/zero adaptation and got into the rest of it just fine; it's still absolutely one of my favorites. If you don't feel stressed to start in a particular order, I highly recommend starting in /zero, especially since that way you don't understand how it's forced to set itself up for stay night. That, and it's just really masterfully done, long first episode of exposition aside.

Mainly action and drama, due to the twist-and-turn nature of the plot. Occasional romance tends to happen too.

The thing about little mac is that he's the most chaotic character in terms of matchup; he mostly either has a stark win or a stark loss, barely ever in between. He's basically ridiculously unbalanced in matchups because of his design.
