She says 'No' when she does it though so I think it's more likely that it was done to prevent us from learning rather than to learn it herself.
Though I guess it's more likely for them to be working with them in some way without being members similar to how the surfer duo seem to operate.

Well there was that time Cosmia kidnapped the guy who was about to tell us who Madame X is so I think that links them fairly well.

Seeing as we would've gotten the same vaccine as the one given to Comet maybe the red vaccine is one only given to Xen members and doesn't actually do anything so maybe because we are the only one not affected by whatever it is they do we'll be the only one able to stop it?

That doesn't necessarily mean that Crescent is the one in danger. Perhaps due to her track record of caring about the MC this means that we are the ones in danger but she isn't in a position to be able to help us?
