Ren could also potentially fulfil the dark prophecy by joining us again thereby betraying Team Xen instead.
Edit: May have forgotten that the dark one was about destroying the world for a moment there...
-
I like the idea of Ren being a light because of his body, that's clever.
I think Aelita, Indriad, Nymiria and Kanon are the only major characters who we know definitely count as 'not born of man' so far (and I'm fairly sure we can rule out Indriad). Melia being a potential light would have to depend on whether her and her siblings literally ARE the archetype, or were just given its power somehow, because if its the latter then they would have to have been born normal and would therefore not be able to be lights.

I thought that Crescent 'saving' us at Valor was just her lying to our face to keep us out of the way since we come back to life without anyone's help at Blacksteeple. Though her threat about us not coming back next time could be real considering how we haven't damaged that version of the Core since then.
I agree with you that the Voidal Chasm is probably going to be very important in the future, but I don't remember it being said that it was spreading, where did it say that?

One thing I don't get is: why did Isha have Giratina? Like, what was the significance of that plot-wise? I had previously assumed that if you didn't release Giratina then Isha would hold onto it indefinitely. But now I've seen what happens if you don't release Giratina (thanks, Nine Icy Tails), and it just escapes after the Isha battle. So what was the significance of Isha having it in the first place? Because the whole thing felt shoehorned in, since it was completely unrelated to Isha's memory experiments. And Giratina ended up exactly where it was before Isha caught it: released and running free. So will there be any relevance to Giratina being in the Hospital of Hope, or was that just unnecessary padding?
The only thing I can think of would be if it was somehow related to his 'gift'. Personally my question is how did he get Giratina in the first place? I mean Indriad makes sense because he has magic and stuff but Isha is just a guy, albeit a guy with some advanced memory tech but nothing that would let him catch and store a legendary without anyone knowing.

When we say the MC has a lack of personality we ignore very human moments such as the MC's refusal to leave the room after Nancy's death or when they got surprised when nymeria mentioned aderest
I suppose I was referring more to how they seem to have lost whatever personality they used to have, still a very valid point though.
Speaking of which, does the flashback with Aria and Axel change based on the name you've chosen? (I'd assume not?) Because this would mean that along with their past and personality the MC has also forgotten their name right?
-
The talk about which character could be what pokémon made me realise something. The MC is pretty similar to Nihilego, they are a mysterious being from another world with the ability to control others. Nihilego is also said to possibly not be sentient which reminded me of the MC's notable lack of a personality. I'm not sure if this means anything but I thought it was interesting and worth mentioning.

Another possibility could be that while Interceptors do come to judge the world when necessary the Core is able to 'force' them into the world even if they aren't needed.
-
I'm not saying that Arceus couldn't have made a being like the Interceptor if they wanted to, I'm saying we have evidence that they didn't and that the Interceptor is a product of the science of the people who made the springs, the Archive, and the Core.
Honestly I wouldn't be that surprised if the Interceptor being a 'last resort' when the universe is in danger turns out to be false and something the Garufa made up to try and explain an otherworldly entity they didn't understand.

In the Final cutscene of v12 Melia Erin Alice Allen turned into the archtype.
Possible that the interceptor existed from the begining alongside Vitus and Nymeria or
also possible that they were the prince who was with nymeria I think her son
iirc the Interceptor is supposed to be from another world which is why they are separate from fate so it's unlikely for them to have been created by Arceus in the very beginning . Also since the Interceptor cannot be older than the Core, something built by people with access to the Archetype, I find it unlikely for there to have been an Interceptor during the Archetype War seeing as Nymeria kept it sealed the whole time until she used it at the end. Granted if the Core was built before then it does seem like the kind of thing there would be an Interceptor for.

Another thing: if the interceptor is the player, then they were also inhabiting Kenneth's mind during Where Love Lies. That would explain why Freya specifically manipulated Kenneth, and why she and Kieran are trying to do the same to MC. The interceptor is the only one who isn't bound by fate, so one who manipulates the interceptor has fate in their hands.
Also they only started messing with Tealia once they became playable, which means that the time duo have almost exclusively (except for the post-Valor incident) targeted people who are being interceptedTM.
This then begs the question of how the time duo know who is being intercepted seeing as not even the target knows and it took Madame X, seemingly one of the most knowledgeable characters in the game, two resurrections to figure it out. My guess would be some sort of tracking device made by whoever built the Core.

Another thing I'm wondering: is the interceptor literally just you? Not the protagonist, the actual player behind the screen. And then maybe when you're controlling a different character, the interceptor's briefly inhabiting someone else's mind. It would explain why you have flashbacks to the intro when you go into the Strange House: the interceptor was inhabiting Maria's mind when you played as her. And it also explains a bit of dialogue in Zone Zero, where Ren is shocked to find out you know something that only he and Aelita saw.
In that case, your role as the interceptor would have NOTHING to do with the protagonist's backstory. If anything, you being the interceptor explains why the protagonist has no memory of their backstory. And this also explains why Saki/Freya talks to you as the interceptor on twitter, when you're not playing the game.
This would also be supported by the puppet masters line of 'which mind will you inhabit next' (At least I think that was the line). It would also explain the MC's lack of a personality when compared to the zone zero flashback with Axel and Aria.
If it is true the we, as the interceptor, are completely separate from the MC then I wonder if they are aware of our influence or if they are as ignorant as the rest of the characters we take control of.
Clearly the MC sees the cutscenes that we do so I wonder if we were to see a cutscene of somewhere else while we were controlling a different character whether they would also see it or if the MC is special in that regard, maybe like a 'main host' or something.

Because we're the interceptor. The dialogue between Melia and Erin implies that MC actually died in Kugearen, but due to their powers as the interceptor Madame X was able to save them and bring them back a few seconds.
If Madame X was only able to save us because we're the Interceptor then shouldn't she have also figured out that we are the Interceptor then instead of during the bad future?

I'm pretty sure in WLL we only see 'Freya' make people remember things that didn't happen rather than forget things that did so perhaps 'Freya' needed Isha to remove the memories of Val and Adam before implanting false ones, maybe in exchange he got to keep Braixen for his experiments.

There is NO evidence that Maria and Melia are the same person.
Back when Angie tried to sacrifice Melia there are a few frames where she turns into Maria. Though personally I'm on the side of Maria being all four Theolia children this is an important connection either way.

This is a change of topic, but are we sure Anastasia is really Nastasia? After all:
You'd think Nastasia would remember meeting Ren in the past, especially when she was guiding him through a scene that she had lived through. Also, Nastasia seems rather young for someone who was alive before Storm 9. Is it possible that Nastasia is the Deoxys instead? Maybe Anastasia dies when trying to save Maria from Indriad, and then her Deoxys uses its DNA powers to become a "clone" of her, and wants revenge.
There was the time she hung up on him and also when she accidentally called him "Mr. Ren"

Could you tell me what the characters are? I’ve already finished the current version. And thanks
SpoilerDuring the "classified information" sidequest in GDC you meet Anabel and Looker
I'm fairly certain that the devs said that the spoiler above was the last planned instance of official characters

Great work, I love this. Keep it up!

This game isn't complete and the latest version is V12 (Out of 16 iirc). You can see the progress of V13 on the rejuv dev blog.

but for now the only hint is their similar hair structure
You're forgetting that TuffPuff has the same base stats and moveset as red hair's Naganadel which is just a little suspisious.

So I was replaying the Eclypsia Pyramid part and I came with something with Alice and Allen:
We all think Cosmos and Cosmia(if I recall correctly their names) would be the Dark and Fairy leaders because the badges match and the Starlight field boosts both type. But there are also two characters with a Fairy type and a Dark type and are blood related.
They're Allen and Alice:
Allen has an Alolan-Ninetales and Alice has a Sableye. So Allen could be a Fairy specialist and Alice a Dark specialist. But what's even better is the battle between Alice and Aelita. If you look at the battlefield there are stars everywhere which recalls the Starlight arena where we should fight them. And we never actually fought them so that could fit.
Plus there could be a name for each of their signature moves: Light's Embrace for Allen and Unown Buster for Alice.
Light's Embrace could be a special Fairy move associated with light like with Dazzling Gleam and Unown Buster would be a physical Dark type move (with a bonus random typing based on the Hidden Power type of the pokemon to recall the Unowns?).These moves are two of the moves Allen uses vs the Bladestar Admin.
I suppose the reason you would get badges from fighting them would be Alice just asking the Unown to make some which would make more sense than Comet and Cosmia having badges for whatever reason.

Looks like Team Xen killed her used her designs to make the Xen uniforms. If this is the first Team Xen when Lord Xenadin was alive or the new one lead by Madame X, why would they kill her for just some clothes? It also begs the question, which Team Xen was it? It can't the first one, because they all died back in the Mierra region, it can be the new one, but how old was Madame X when the power plant back in the Mierra region exploded and how old was she before Storm-9 happened? Did Team Xen attack the girl, because Irvin was part of the Storm Chasers?
Correct me if I'm wrong but deosn't Madelis say during WLL that new Xen was formed a few months before Kenneth joined? Also considering how people in the past know about Miera, the way the stormchasers recruit people and how old Irvin seems to be it deosn't seem implausible to think that Irvin's daughter died in Miera before he evacuated and/or was recruited. Maybe they used his daughter's death as his motive to get him to join?

I think if there was a second Interceptor that the most likely candidate would be Nim. Aside from her being able to come back to life Damien also mentioned that if left alone she would cause the end of the world, something an interceptor would be very capable of doing. The Archive did mention there being multiple interceptors so there being more than one doesn't seem too unlikely.

Maybe pokemon can only attack using their lower attacking stat. Not sure how hard or easy it might be but it could produce some interesting sets at least.
