    Hello Lady Taria here! And I have some updates finally - about my Reborn fanfiction and username change.

    Username Change

    I don't know if anyone noticed but I changed my username twice. The first time I changed it, it was Starry Delight, and the second time was done recently. The reason why I kept changing my name was because I wanted to be original; Lady Taria was based on the Pokemon Altaria, as it was my favorite Pokemon at the time, and Starry Delight was based on my love of space. But it was taken by someone on tumblr already.

     

    I'm sorry if I confused anyone on here. 😓

     

    What Happened to My Fanfiction

    This is the reason I originally wanted to post this. But I got anxious and then never did. I didn't know now to word it because, at the time, it upset me. Well, to get to the point. My story got archived, and I didn't know what to do after that. Do I repost it? Or do I rewrite it?

     

    What I'm going to do with my fanfiction

    Well, I literally thought about this for months and now I finally know what I want to do; start over. I know this is going to take a long time to do. But I realized the original idea I had - for the story and the characters, didn't really work. Especially the MC; her personality and motives didn't fit the rest of the story. I also realized I didn't know the canon characters all that well. Thanks @Mindlack. ❤️

     

    (trust me, the last thing i want to do is miss characterize them.)

      1. Yes the second change was recent. I changed it to what I have now.

    Chapter 25 of my Reborn story is out!

     

    I get significantly more views for my story now. Looks like global lockdown somehow gives people more time to glance at stuff. I kind of wish I knew the proportion of people who actually read, but then again maybe I wouldn't like the result. 

     

    Also, I have a horrific idea for a Rejuv story. It's so bad it might be funny to plot out, maybe cathartic to write at some points, but perhaps not very entertaining to read. So I don't know if I'm going to pursue it.

      Yeah, I realized that too. That's why I wanted to write Melanie as unsure and nervous at first, instead of the "outstanding trainer" at first. I wanted her to be different.

       

      Also, to tell you the truth - I kind of have complicated feelings about Rejuvenation's plot too. So, it's ok. It's also ok to be different with your story. Not everyone has to do a long retelling of game's plot, for ether games.

      That's how I felt at first about plotting out mine. But after a little while I just said "screw it! I'm doing this thing." Because let's be real, Rejuvenation needs more love and fanfic writers, there aren't as many as them as there is for Reborn.

       

      Also after reading your Reborn story, I would love to see your take on Rejuvenation.

       

      But you should only pursue this if you want to. Don't let other people make you feel like you have to.

      Oh, really? I didn't know Wattpad was like that. Maybe, I shouldn't have made an account.

       

      Also, if you're looking for another fanfic site, I highly recommend Archive of Our Own. There's already a couple Reborn fanfics on there.

      But some times I wish it was in the winter months instead. Because I'm a snow bunny and can't take the heat.
