I recommend getting a bronzor from Iolia valley, trick room becomes exponentially useful the later you progress in the game. Also, both abilities are very useful. Another of my mvps is the roggenrola from 7th street. It gets boosted exp and pairs really well with the previously mentioned bronzong. Finally, that espurr will be your friend, I recommend training it up. Have fun with your playthrough!

in my opinion, heatproof bronzong is the best pokemon to take out Charlotte. Once you set up trick room, you can pair it with something that knows rock slide to sweep her gym.

For late game reborn fights I always recommend trick room bronzong to counter opponents having max speed evs. In this fight, you could lead meowstic and a bronzong to get up trick room and bring in gardevoir to set up. You could also train up the roggenrola from 7th street to wipe his team pretty easily under trick room, this gets boosted exp so it is easier to train up.

The Sugaline Ruins are halfway between the train dropoff and the scrapyard on the Eastern side. It has a large open mouth entrance in a sand dune. If you google search "Tourmaline Desert Map" there is a very helpful picture with all locations, items, and special encounters.
