"Protagonist can talk" for Pokemon Rejuvenation. After the battle between Axel and Nim while Aevia watched the entire match :

Nim : Wowie, you won... You're clearly good, you know that, Axel!

Axel : Thanks! Haha!

Nim : I knew it was fate for us to meet each other!

Aevia : What are you talking about?!

Nim : After all, both of you are friends of the trainer who beat Venam!

Aevia : You mean Aevis?!

Axel : I wish I wanted be a friend to her. And yet, she thinks me that I'm lame.

Besides, Melia mostly respects Aevis and that's why someone told him to go with her.
