Okay! Everyone is officially done with their teams, with the exception of Kitty, who I'm going to talk about in a second. So congrats on N8, Bullet, Kitty, and Mashew for building very solid teams. This should be a fun tourney! The Kitty Situation: Because of her really really really high bidding on Ame, Kitty is left with 0 points and a gap in the final slot for her second leader. Now, I can't let Kitty pick the last one in the interest of fairness, but I can't leave that spot empty. So, to circumvent this problem, I asked N8, Bullet, and Mashew for their advice on which leader Kitty should have. Unanimously, they picked Luna. For the first match, that cannot change, so Kitty [i]must[/i] work with Luna in that final spot. After that match, she is free to add a different free agent leader (Heather or Shelly). This was all I could do in the circumstance. Matchups will be up at my earliest convenience (read: when Mash and Kitty send me their line-ups and I format the thread)

Then you get to keep it for whenever we have free agents. You'll have extra money for that

(BETTING IS CLOSED) SURPRISE! We decided to spring something on you guys, as a reward for giving this a chance. The gym leaders will be fighting alongside you on your teams! Okay, we now have everyone necessary for this phase to start! Basically, how this will work is that the managers of the team will be drafting members from the free agent pool, in a sort of auction. Procedure 1) Each manager gets 300 RP (Reborn Points) 2) Using these RP, they can draft members of the free agent pool. No less than 20 can be used to 'buy' a player. Maximum bid is 200, at which point the player is automatically sold. 3) If another manager wants a player, they can up the bid. Minimum increase is by 10 (1 RP increase would just be too trollinviting.) 4) At the end of the draft, each manager must have a player for OU, UU, Ubers, and Leader. (You can only have 1 leader on a team. Sorry~) [b]5) If 24 hours goes by without an increasing bid on someone, the player is declared sold and is given to the person who made the highest bid. Lesser bids are refunded.[/b] 6) If, somehow, managers run out of money before their full team has been created, I will personally pick from whoever is left at the end, once everyone else has had their say, and without consulting with said manager. Managers can draft [i]two[/i] leaders, since they have type restrictions. However, they can only use one per matchup, so choose wisely among the leaders that are most balanced. Do not bet more than you have! Bets will be tracked. Might as well use this to explain free agents and trades. Trades: Managers can agree to trade players between teams. There are two restrictions. 1) It must be one by one: I.E. you can't trade two players for one. 2) Each manager must have the full complement of tier players after the trade. Trades take effect the matchup AFTER the trade happened, unless neither player has played their matches yet. Free Agents: If other people want to join this tourney after it starts, there are options. Basically, the team leaders, if they have points remaining after this, can use them to bid on any free agents available. Until every team has the same number of players, however, the team that got the free agent has to use it as a substitute. Managers, just post who you want, as well as the opening bid. (The positions I have here are just placeholders, managers are of course free to have their players play whatever tier they want.) Teams of Reborn! In this tournament, 4 teams of 3 players each will be pitted against each other in a league-type tournament lasting 5 weeks. From there, the final will commence with the two teams with the best record! (In the case of a tie, whoever won the Round Robin match will go through) There will be 3 players on each team. Team matchups will consist of (Debating, ignore for now) First to 2 points wins. 1 matchup per week. Managers have a special role. They will be the teams' leaders, as well as play. They will pick the players that will be on their team in a draft-style format that will be explained in a week, when signups close and selections begin. And, of course, they get to pick team names.
