I never really got the complaints about the RNG-ness of it. Like I've never had a problem mitigating those things. Synthetic Seed, Lax Incense, and there are several "beam" moves available to you that can burn right through her team. Nature Power gives you Mirror Shot, which is boosted and counts as a beam, and Flamethrower also counts as one. Idk, it was always a respectable and fun field to play in for me.

And with that, Madelis and the Volcanion go down without any real trouble. Honestly I expected more out that fight, but eh, guess I can't blame em for falling before my might.

Oh yeah, Zetta and Galvantua got smacked. Zetta was down to the wire, Galvantua was actually really easy.

I have been graciously informed that there are no lottery starters in Rejuvenation anymore, so I'm just going for shiny Cyndaquil now. Nonetheless, it eludes me. My luck with this is just terrible.

I think I'm gonna give Rejuvenation another go. My only try so far was recent, and I got past Venam and not really any further before I lost interest. But I figure it's probably worth my time, so it's time for another round. HOWEVER. Before my playthrough actually begins, I will be SRing for my starter. There will be two acceptable outcomes. Either
A: a shiny Cyndaquil
or
B: a rare lottery starter
These are my terms for myself. It may be a while yet before I start posting about my playthrough because of this. Also I'll probably just post my starter and my victory against Venam for the beginning, as I already know everything that happens. That just about covers it. Wish me luck! -
Now, I've never met a puzzle I couldn't solve, but you guys got me with that damn slide puzzle. I'm sure if I'd given it long enough I could have figured it out, but if I'm being honest I just wanted the dang password and to move on- and I've also never done a slide puzzle anyway, so like, eh? I don't feel too terrible about looking up the solution? regardless, that was probably harder than some of the battles lmao

FINALLY I about lost my mind with this one. I really wanted to do it without over-leveling and with a double battle but in the end that just didn't work out. I'm just glad it's over.
