It looks like a Mega Butterfree, but that might just be me... As for the Swalot being a bunch of Gulpin, it was supposed to fuse the Gulpin into a giant Swalot when the PULSE activated. This just simplified things, I guess.

If you had to match each Protagonist with a specific starter...
Bazaro posted a topic in Reborn City
Sorry the poll's so big, but it's kinda the point of this thread x_x Keep in mind that: Each Protagonist should have a unique starter. Try not to give the same starter to 2 different Protagonists. Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott are already canonly owned by the rival trio. Not saying avoid these options altogether but... There's definitely not a scheme behind this. <_> The cake is a lie. You just lost the game. Replies are not really necessary, response to the poll is enough. -
F IS FOR FIRE! Yo mang this hype is real. I'll go ahead and be the first to suggest myself to be leader.

There were grunts in Agate City as well that were unaffected by the spell. Whatever it is, Meteor has some kind of gear to counter its effects. Terra likely has this herself, or could just stay awake because Terra. Again, no sound in the city at all, so I doubt Sing is the cause. Hypnosis is probable but unlikely as anti-psychic helmets don't just grow on trees... Buuuuuut Rage Power and Sleep Powder DO grow on trees nearby, so Spore or Sleep Powder are very likely, as the city is entirely isolated by a ring of mountains.

Either Ame doesn't have Azurine Island ready... or she's intentionally hiding it. Been the center of the last 2 CF's we've gotten so far. It'd be an interesting place to visit again, since the island's pathing changes drastically with clean water. Meteor's warehouse is still there, but idk if Ame would re/move the Chikorita event from there just so Meteor could try to use it as a base again... Just a thought. As for paths to Apophyll, I highly doubt we'll have Amy's boat anymore. Poor rusted thing probably broke/reclaimed/sunk/melted by now anyways. With fresh water everywhere, the lake's gonna be open to plenty of water Pokemon Adrienn brought into for repopulating. Also, with the excitement of having water again, expect to see a LOT of Swimmer trainers. Maybe Ame did cut off the majority of the lake though, and that little path is our only on-foot... on water... (not using Fly)... path to getting to Apophyll. And I guess another path at the south end of Apophyll leading to Azurine? All just speculation, of course. Only time (and spoilers) will tell.

It's also made of glass, not metal. It's a pocketwatch/hourglass/spider thing and I love it. More bugs for my potential mono, I guess (so many bugs x_x) Hexatis, Elftik, Lucifly, Quiksilk, Andetle, Lunapillar, Colourva... there's so many announced already. We getting more ground types from Duster's team so we can learn how to counter them :^) As for the announcement itself... *Casually ignoring Wormadam Sandy Cloak* ;( ✓ yoself b4u shrek yoself again EDIT: Quiksilks would make for amazing keychains js

Track 1 is almost definitely a boss battle (possibly admin battle), Track 2 sounds like a Grunt battle, and 3's some kind of open area. All sound nice. \o/ 2500 reply hype \o/

Everyone's least favorite barnacle Bazaro here, here to ask for opinions, even though they all smell. By now, everyone and their grandmother's cat should know what Redemption League is/was (if not, how did you get to this thread...) We know the first season only ran for a few months and, while generally enjoyed by the public, was far from perfect. Season 2 of Redemption League is in the workings, and will be released on... ...and we want your input! If you have anything you liked or didn't like about Redemption, something you'd like to see changed, or just have some wacky idea you want to throw to the 4 winds, then this is the place for it. We'll gladly hear all of your suggestions and strive for a better Season next time. After all, out goal is to satisfy the public with a challenging, AND fun experience. *moonwalks back into closet*

I posted earlier on this thread that after looking through all of the dex entries, Whiscash tuned out to be the most tremor-causing Pokemon. Anything's likely, but Ame seems to be sticking to the more "natural" abilities/attributes of Pokemon for the PULSEs. (... plus that'd be a total rip-off of Mega Dugtrio from Insurgence.) As for where the PULSE would be hidden, it's most likely deep under the city (in the roads that were covered in fissures between Grand Staircase and Obsidia Ward) where the most observable damage was shown. As for access to that area, it's probably in the basement of the suspicious Devon Corp. building we've seen since Episode 2 in Obisidia. Given how easy it was for Meteor set up so many infiltration points across the city (7th Street, 2 factories, warehouses in Coral, Obsidia Park ((seriously, how did NO ONE notice a huge PULSE being set up in the middle of the park???)) Beryl/Jasper Wards ((given, Meteor was mostly based in the Jungle away from the actual city)) and such), it's very likely "Devon" is affiliated with or is Meteor in disguise (like the Daycare.) Little things you tend to overlook in the early stages of things tend to grow into much larger problems when you leave them untouched...

"I shall assume you are all familiar with the popular saying, "a wolf in Pslamb's clothes". This clever predator has learned how to disguise itself in order to infiltrate the flock and capture its preys. Some speculate that this species might actually have originated outside of Graterras, and specifically in the Jotho region, because of the similarities with another sheep-like Pokemon that inhabits that distant land. Thick like a top-quality coat, Mapaca's fluffy wool mainly comes in handy for the aforementioned disguise tactics, but it also has other uses. It also makes Mapaca cute and cuddly, which is certainly a nice bonus: even a proper lady like me is not immune to the charm of such an adorable creature." Read as: - Infiltrator - Fur Coat Overcoat - Cute Charm As it resembles Mareep from Johto, it's safe to assume it's an Electric/Dark type when it evolves, but only pure Electric for now, as the wolf comes out. EDIT: Changed Fur Coat to Overcoat, as it's much more versatile and fitting

Just like to point out at Sage 5, Overgrow Petal Dance + STAB (aka Venusaur/Meganium) has a base power of 1620. Quad resist is still 405 base power. Like what the actual. Looks pretty fun, tbh. Just kill the garden before it grows/abuse the growth and the battles shouldn't be too difficult (Laura and possibly Adrienn). I see it as 5 fields that flow in a progression, it doesn't seem too overly complex (from a player standpoint anyways (sorry Ame)). Wonder what else we'll see...

In note of the "careful wording," it was never specified it couldn't be a dual typing that already exists in Se7en, so any of the 6 is quite possible. As for being a trouble to farmers, bugs and parasites destroy crops, and since it was "made" to help plants, as previously mentioned, it would likely evolve an "unnatural" way, like a Stone or something, into something that can support Grass types better. Psychic helps deal with Poison types, Dragon gives some resistance to Fire, Ice stops with Flying types, and Fairy resists Bug... Normal and Dark don't do much of anything pertaining to the Grass type's weaknesses (and seriously, there's have enough Normal types as it is... Magpy, Monochromoth, Bunnerd, Robyte, Goshee, Oppossite, Ebounny, and more to come I'm sure x_x)

I'd just like to take a moment to note that there was no previous mention of scythes anywhere. Hexatis resembles a cricket or grasshopper, but this statement basically confirms it becomes a scythe-armed mantis. K. Still gonna stick with Bug/Ground, or maybe a Bug/Psychic.
-
Ways to make it useful for plants... Water and soil (Ground) come to mind. Rototiller is a Ground move that buffs ally Grass types. Although they both exist in Surskit and Nincada/Wormadam-S, they're hardly considered "seen" by the eyes of the meta. Bit of a stretch, but worth mentioning. plus if like duster had like a bug/ground evolution thing of this it'd be like really cool like
-
Fairy, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Normal, and Dark are the only dual types Bug doesn't have in gen 6... It's worth noting that with Tinted Lens, Bug/Psychic has perfect neutral coverage...

Highlight the area and click on the eraser in the top left of the Post Box Also: yay Beryl! Looks like we get easy access to the library and cemetery now. Wonder how/if the forest/jungles were changed...

The 3 pieces of ZEL are parallel to the 3 parts of the mind; Ego, Super-Ego, and Id. Eve is clearly the Super-Ego, leaving every decision to pure logical reasoning with no emotion involved in her decisions, while also keeping the clashing personalities of Lumi and Zero from completely destroying each other. Eve has taken actions to satisfy both sides, but ultimately seems interested in advancing the PULSE. It's not all black-and-white though, as Eve has shown that she cares for Lumi. Lumi would be the Ego, making decisions she believes to be for the best without thinking about them too much. As mentioned, she puts the safety of her sister above everything else, which is somewhat illogical thinking. And that leaves Zero as the Id, who makes rash decisions fueled by emotion (usually temper and vengeance in his case.) His loyalty to Meteor is somewhat questionable since we really don't know anything of his background, but it seems to be enough to keep ZEL in their allegiance. He shows to be the more dominant personality of the 3, having the most control and getting annoyed when the others fight for control. There's 2 possible endings for ZEL, really... either they separate and go on their merry ways, or they learn to work together as one. As for separating them, it goes back to the time they fused when a Magneton evolved while in the PULSE. 3 Magneton units fuse into one Magnezone. 1 Magnemite unit splits into 3 units upon evolution. Coincidence? Maybe... maybe not.

Any and all help is much appreciated! I couldn't possibly make 1800+ sprites alone. Also, have an angry god of distortion... in high res!
-
Been a while since this thread's been touched...
-
It was no problem remaking them. The hardest part of making sprites is deciding what you want the sprite to look like; slapping on the colors only takes a few minutes.
-
As mentioned, most of the upcoming changes to shiny sprites pertain to the Mega Evolutions. Sorry to say, but I don't see Nidoran changing much anytime soon...(shiny Nidoking is pretty cool though) But if you're determined, the sprites themselves aren't hard to change at all; just go Data > Graphics > Battlers in the Reborn Game folder. There's even a few custom sprite services lurking around Reborn, if you don't want to make the sprite yourself.
-
Something like this? (I accidentally overwrote all of the old sprites, so I had to redo them from scratch.) The sprites you see here are only Shiny sprites, not regular. Sorry if the thread name was misleading.
