It's been awhile, so I've decided to make an important announcement: I now work for the Department of Defense and am now making a healthy salary, which has put me in a much better spot than I was last year. Most of what I make will be put towards bills, savings, etc, while the rest will be put towards my game's annual budget. I will be getting back in touch with my artists and crew, to put something amazing together for all ya'll to see!
Also, I have a corgi and his name's Pepin:

Oh, whoa, hey, uhhhh... casually strolling in to say hello to everyone and wanted you all to get an update on my status at the moment. Currently, I am now done with this year of school and am now on my last year. It was rough, thus far, especially with finances, which is why progress has been... ehhh... Also, I have been constantly displeased with the script of my game and have come to the conclusion of rewriting a good majority of the game's story, especially the near endgame parts. But, a lot of great things have come to me while I've been away. First and foremost was obviously publishing my manga and getting a lot of great sales at conventions and my university. Another was being able to head to San Antonio, Texas for a PBL (Phi-Beta-Lambda) National competitions. What is PBL? Basically, a Business Honor Society that has you do sometimes philanthropy things, but also competitions. This week I'll be there to compete in 2 competitions that I placed in at State.
A lot of my setbacks will be rectified, soon, but I need to get a lot of headway on other, life things, first. This project is my baby and always will be, alongside another manga that I am currently in the works of writing that is completely unrelated to my game. I've been committed to this project for almost a decade and I've come too far to quit. This is only a minor setback and will be soon rectified in about a year or so.

The Dungeons in Persona 3 are honestly not that fun to explore.
They are randomly generated. But each hallway is basically the same thing. Find some Items, kill some bad guys, go to next floor.
Even in Mystery Dungeon games, they at least come up with some ways to make each dungeon more interesting, like having different terrains and the fact that your position in the dungeon matters in battle.
In Persona 3, it's just a bunch of hallways. And all of the blocks are almost the exact same. No extra terrain. No puzzles. No nothing.
Do Persona 4 and 5 improve on the lackluster dungeon design in Persona 3?
I still love Persona 3, but this is one of its many faults.

I’d give anything for a 3D Sonic game with Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) styled gameplay, but done properly.
Maybe fill it to the brim with those beautiful CGI Cutscenes and a Story that’s simple, fun, and does Justice to Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Tails, Knuckles, and all the other characters.

I should finish Persona 3 sometime. One of the few games I hate but also love at the same time.

Oh yeah, btw's this, along with a couple other skits in this game are some of the most entertaining things about Dawn of the New World. That's not saying much, considering the new voice actors and all...

So, in terms of the manga's progress, we have come a very long way since we started out, last May. This summer we're hoping to get Volume 1 finished and ready to sell by either the end of summer of fall. Below is all the pages we have done/are doing at the moment. The ones that look clearly like storyboards are in-progress pages:
Overall, I am supremely happy with my manga-artist and all that she has done with me over the past 4 years. We have worked together on various mangas, and we're hoping to continue working together for... who knows how long. She has been able to nail my character's personalities, characteristics, mannerisms and subtle qualities better than I ever could. Same goes for a lot of the locales in the manga, as they were designed with absolute care and delicacy that puts the biggest, dumbest smile on my face. I seriously couldn't be happier with how this turned out, as it managed to be even better than the game as it has everything corrected from plot-holes to even subtle aspects about character backgrounds and their motives which were... a little off in the actual game, and I still need to get around to fixing sometime.
For those of you still waiting on my game, I sincerely apologize, as I mentioned before in previous posts, as school has become ultra sluggish, harsh and the fact that I need to hammer through this last semester before I can readily get stuff done for the game. Currently though I have found time during the weekends to get work done, as I've went and made many changes to several of the game's core components to make things a little better overall. However, don't expect another video from me, about my game, until I decide it's necessary or if I have anything relevant to show off.
