  1. Alyssa steps off to the side after they leave the office and takes a moment to analyze the design of the guard's armor and makes a good quality copy. Something seemingly all-knowing and important put her on the bus with the people whose names she still doesn't know, but the only thing that brought her to this facility is a helicopter and some nosey officials. And authority never sat well with Alyssa. Overhearing the nearby conversations, Alyssa decides to take a look around and tags along to "escort" the ally that looks like a walking ice cube to where the bus is being held. She looks at the snowflake of a man walking towards the elevator. "I'll come with you. Make sure you don't... uhhh... get lost?" Alyssa waits until they are out of earshot to say anything else.
  2. Alyssa spends the helicopter ride asking Mirri about designs of her people that she would approve of and designs to avoid, color schemes, and stylistic choices. She also tries to figure out which color and design would work best with Jun's boring, white armor. Alyssa was used to being rushed along according to someone else's schedule but she usually knew the people around her when that happened. Feeling out of place and severely lacking in knowledge of her surroundings, she examines the guards around her, copying the style onto herself and painting a disguise. (19 vs. 19 on the disguise roll) Although Post-apocalyptic clothing usually isn't her style, it really fits with the setting. She walks into the office room wearing her newly painted guard armor, a beret, and a fur coat, and stands near the exit, trying her best to look official.
  3. "Well, if you refuse to take off that.... outfit," Calling it an outfit was a stretch, but for courtesy's sake... "Then we could redesign it or maybe put something more suitable over it?" Ideas started running through Alyssa's head of recoloring the armor and how different fabrics would lie over it before she remembered Jun's question. "I already told you, I'm an artist." She twirls her paintbrush in her hand as if to emphasize the point.
  4. Alyssa is surprised to hear Harry's cultured and well polished mannerisms. Although why someone with such a proper gait and tone would chose to look as he does is a mystery to her. And he is apparently a Doctor? She questions the validity of wherever he got his degree, because he did not look like a doctor at all. Someone new drops down in front of her, from a mechanical ship in severe need of help. A mass of green armor walks up and greets her. "Pleasure to meet you Mirri, the name is Alyssa, and I see you are in dire need of a fashion designer like myself. You can't just completely cover up with armor like that, honey. Although I must say I am slightly offended that you think I am not combat worthy when you appear to have teenage girls without any decent form of armor on out in the field. I have my talents and they can be suited to combat."
  5. "From what I've gathered of this 'Dr. Ebon,' I assume she didn't have the time to brief me or show me the footage that someone mentioned. But I'm a quick learner so I know why I'm here and what we need to do." Alyssa looks curiously at this person again. "I don't believe I caught a name? I'm Alyssa." She extends her hand in greeting, impatient to get on to meeting the surprising number of other people in this seemingly ragtag group.
  6. Alyssa looks around, inspecting her surroundings now that she knows that it isn't just a projection. "This place is absolutely beautiful. It has the feeling of a place frozen in time; it is not the society it once was, nor the open field that it eventually will become. It's in between, stuck at a moment of indecision. And then there's you lot, disrupting the calm." She turns to Jun with a joking half-smile on her face. "People to meet, I suppose." She turns to the passerby as he walks past. Alyssa seems to stop for a moment, sizing up the old man and apparently dismissing him. He seems a tad bit too crotchety anyway. Alyssa looks at Jun after her comment to the man and considers it. "I somehow doubt that a group of very different people who were all thrown together like a puzzle with half of the pieces missing contains a single person who would be considered 'Normal.' But feel free to prove me wrong." She looks around at the people crowding up the scenery and the creative wheels can almost be seen ticking inside her head as she ponders them.
  7. Alyssa considers shaking Nhevi's hand, but decides to nope the heck Out of there instead. She turns to Jun, still cringing at the mere thought of Nhevi. "I believe you said something about fresh air. That sounds nice." The thought breifly crosses her mind that the air might be toxic to her, but everyone else seems to be fine, so she probably will be too. Although some of the others seem to be absolutely not human at all.
  8. Alyssa continues to sit in the corner to collect her thoughts. Okay, this is wrong this is so very terribly wrong, a disgraceful use of the rainbow. But....but.... Jun's words fill her ear, followed by what is probably the..... thing speaking. I still have to do this. I am more than a lowlife sitting on the floor. I'm the second greatest fashion designer in the world, damn you Enrico and your perfect model body and artistic use of colors and luscious hair an- Not the point. She shakes her head at herself as she begins to stand up. Taking a deep breath, she turns to face the abomination newcomer. I can take this challenge. I can do anything, even design the perfect look for a- She takes one look at them, closes her eyes and looks just to the side of the thing, avoiding the full horror of its appearance. No, I can't. "Hello. I don't believe I caught your name. Pleasure to meet you." She avoids looking at them, casually examining the contents of the bus.
  9. Noticing the apparent end of the fight, Alyssa sees someone new enter the bus. What The Hell Alyssa stares awkwardly gawking at the strange clash of magenta and black standing(?) in front of her. Jaw agape, she lets out some strange noise that may or may not have been an attempt at talking, but honestly not even she knows. This.... Person? Thing? in front of her is.... a sickening wretch of a disgrace to her very being as an artist, as a person, and shouldn't be. The walking color clash museum says something to her, but....... What was it? "I- uh- yo- the- " She stops, blinks at Nhevi and with the grace of an elephant on roller skates, does the most cringe-worthy double-facepalm. Alyssa trails her hands down her face. Alyssa stands up. Alyssa finds the nearest corner of the bus. Alyssa sits down facing the wall. Alyssa curls up into a ball. Alyssa finds a piece of lint on the floor. Alyssa picks it up. Alyssa stares intently at the lint. Alyssa searches desperately for some semblance of sanity.
  10. "Have fun and try not to die. I'll just stay here. Where it's relatively safe. And I'm not fighting random creatures with other random people." Alyssa looks over at Jun with a judgmental look on her face. "Really, darling, I can design you a new cloak. That thing isn't even suitable to use as a dog bed at this point. And I'm sure what you are wearing underneath that abomination is just as in need of help. Care for a remodel while they are fighting?"
  11. "Oh. That does make these circumstances more dire, doesn't it? Hello, Arminius, I'm Alyssa. I... Save the multiverse? I suppose I've always wanted to do that. Well, that at least answers one question. Now, the most important question of all. What is a striking young man like you doing wearing orange? It does not complement those beautiful eyes of yours in any way. I could really do some magic with that and your facial structure and...." She looks contemplative, staring at you while twirling the paintbrush around in one hand. "Mmmhmmm... Yes, yes, maybe... Oh, wouldn't that be darling... Yes, I've got plans for you. Now, should we go and help them or do they do things like this all of the time?" She looks at the battlefield for a moment. "Oh dear. That looks like it hurt."
  12. The newcomer looks around questioningly. "Well.... This place of yours is... Uhm..." She trails off, trying to come up with a complement. "Anyway, sorry to bother you but I have somewhere else I need to be, so, toodles" She waves her hand and grabs a paintbrush from behind her ear. She swiftly paints a vague door shape on the wall, similar to the one she walked in through, opens it and leaves. ... And enters on the opposite side of the bus through a door of similar style. She stares, frustrated, at the paintbrush. "Why am I looping back here?" Sighing, she looks back at Jun, and takes a seat next to her and offers her hand in greeting. "It seems something wants me here. I'm Alyssa. Pleasure to meet you. Now, what are you watching?" She looks out of the bus at what appears to her to be a very high quality magiscreen with a show containing some intricate fight scene going on. Hmm, seems that whoever created this was not a good costumer.
  13. A solid, black line appears on the wall inside of the bus. It slowly moves, growing into the vague shape of a doorway, complete with a doorknob. The door opens, rudely shoving forth a slender figure with a fashionable fur coat over a blue cardigan and a slightly jostled black beret on her oddly colored hair, blending from purple to teal. She looks behind her to see the doorway receding into a faint mark, almost indistinguishable from the worn wall that it was drawn on. Her voice carries through the bus, speaking with poise and dignity. "Kyle, your house really has gone to the dumps. I don't like the 'Ragged mad scientist creepy bus' vibe you have going on. Wait...... Kyle? Where am- What the damn hell?" She looks around at the cluttered yet organized contents of the bus in confusion before her eyes land on a shadowy cloaked figure sitting down with a bucket of popcorn. "Who are you, where am I, and what are you doing in that train-wreck of a cloak?"
