Team Bladestar has an underground society, flying machines, machines that can vaporize forestry, at least 2 complex lairs, and Flora herself must get a lot of cash being a Gym Leader. I'm sure Bladestar doesn't have any money problems, just intelligence problems.

If you follow Flora, tell her you saw what she did in Darchlight Forest, and then keep her secret hidden later in the game she mentions how making a secret base under her gym is expensive in which is why she had her base in Darchlight Cave at first. From this I decided that spending money on unnecessary things such as Shadow Pokemon probably isn't the most wanted thing for Team Bladestar as Rift Matter is definitely pushing it in the expense department especially when you spend money on making it so the Pokemon doesn't suffer.

Edit: Oh yeah that's a much better reason for why they don't use Shadow Pokemon, if Flora will go out of her way to make her Rift Pokemon feel no suffering and just get a power boost why would she force Pokemon to suffer by making them Shadow Pokemon?

Good point, it is true we haven't fought Team Xen in a LONG time, though if the dev team really wanted Shadow Pokemon, i could really see Team Bladestar using them especially since Flora did have access to Team Xen's research, though so far we only know FLora knows about Rift Matter. Plus Team Bladestar is willing to kill so i can see how Shadow Pokemon would help in overthrowing Cassandra. Regardless, Shadow Pokemon in Rejuvenation don't have the same presence they have in the Gamecube games. But who knows, maybe if they do come back, they'll be improved on.

Creating Shadow Pokemon seems to be expensive, especially to keep them Shadow, so I feel like Flora would rather use those expenses on something moreso cheap like Rift Pokemon as extensive research is needed to cure a rift Pokemon but just walking around is all that is needed to cure Shadow Pokemon and once free they'd probably resist being told what to do until Shadowified again. So it makes more sense for Team Xen to use them and not Bladestar.

  3. Why do that? The only tedious sidequest is the Zygarde one. All the other ones aren't tedious and also are actually enjoyable to do. If you want to go out of your way to do the missing children sidequest then by all means do it but I see little to no way or reason for it to be added into the main storyline. It's just extra world building and it'd be annoying to have to track down all the kids just to continue the main stuff people want to see.

I know about it, but I wanted to see if I could beat him without EV training deliberately! I've gotta say though, I think I'm going to spend some time training from now on, it'll definitely make things easier in the future.

I suggest training the Sewaddle you get from defeating the one person in Goldenleaf Cave. I trained one and she's been very helpful throughout my journey albeit very weak against fire and flying types.

Hello! I need some assistance as I'm really enjoying the game, but the script messed up during a scene.

It was a long conversation with Narcissa at her house after the Geara battle where he has Giratina.

I can attach a file of my save if anyone can fix it. Thank you!

I'd suggest attaching your save file as I don't believe anyone will be able to do anything for you otherwise given such little information.

I haven't been involved with pokemon's most recent years, (after generation 5 and pokemon Black and White/Black and White 2 is when I stopped doing anything related to pokemon.) but I have to say that this game has successfully made me want to immerse myself in more pokemon.

I don't have any of the consoles required to play the most recent pokemon games, but I remembered about the fan games that I used to play a bit. I found this one and I heard it was one of the best, and I have to say that I'm LOVING it. So far I've been playing through on Reborn difficulty. (so a jump from the average pokemon games's difficulty, as I've heard)

When I played before I was never really into stuff like strategizing and making plans, or utilizing sweepers, tanks, etc, but in the hours I've put into the game I've learned so much. I finally beat Keta, and I haven't felt this satisfied and happy about winning in a lonnng time. I'm so excited that it's insane, and I'm probably going to pour so many more hours into this game.

(ALSO I LOVE YOU SWOOBAT, YOU WERE THE REASON OF MY VICTORY.)

Have you encountered the EV training rooms back at Gearen Laboratory yet? HP and Speed I believe are already unlocked but if you buy the stat cards from the AP shop in the casino in the hotel you can open up the four other rooms. This game gives you a reason to EV train and even lets you see the amount of EV points you have by looking at the summary of your Pokemon. If you're having trouble figuring out how to EV train a Pokemon then just search up the name of the Pokemon you want to EV train and then add "Smogon" to the end of the search after the Pokemon name. It helps out a lot I'd say.

That's hardly a problem since I've already finished two different runs up to v11. Both on Normal difficulty and with Shift battle style, admittedly.

Do a nuzlocke in that case then. I'd suggest with shift though.

  8. If it comes down to just you and shadow mewtwo then get a Pokémon that knows sturdy, reverse candy it to level 1, turn off your EXP Share All if you have one, and then battle. If the shadow mewtwo is all that is left then send out the sturdy Pokémon and then just spam potions on it until the shadow mewtwo dies.

Dang. And here I was hoping to make that a mono type run while I was at it. Then again, mental health is overrated nowadays...

How much does the Set style increase the overall difficulty though? Are a Set Normal run and a Shift Intense run comparable, for instance?

Well I’ve only played Intense mode in shift mode and let me say without it it would have made my battles a whole lot harder of course I didn’t heal unless my opponent first healed so that probably adds to the difficulty but yes, set mode definitely would make it more difficult. And I do not suggest a nuzlocke until you’ve played through the game. Why ruin a good story by playing nuzlocke first, y’know?

Yeah you are right there is no indicator like a crack or something to signal that you can interact with the rock. The only indicator we get are shadows in the lava.

In v10 Carotos Mountain used the same "puzzle" but the solution was more obvious because each rock was located at the end of a path. I don´t remember if there was any other indicator.

Aelita specifically says something along the lines of "I wonder what would happen if you used rock smash on the pillars over there?" or whatever.

Cross Chop is an egg move that Electivire can get.  Said egg move has a chance of appearing with the Elekid eggs one can get from Jenner's Lab.

Makes sense, thanks. Probably got ice punch as my egg move this time as I remember specifically having to find a move tutor for ice punch last time.

I think the battle is only that hard because Melia's team is literally useless, all her mons get ohko'd or 2hko'd and don't do much back, I honestly think the battle would've been easier for me if I just had 2 of my own mons out vs 12, it ended with me rushing zetta down and having my bisharp (whos perfectly iv'd/eve'd) 1v5 the rest of gearens team with the little revives I had

Maybe but I made it harder for myself by just not healing. If I spammed healing items battle would have been kind of difficult but easy nonetheless though I refused to heal unless the opponents healed. Which is what I decided as a rule when playing through intense mode. Didn't want to win battles via healing.

So awaiting for the newest version I decided to replay through V11 on intense, I've reached the double battle VS zetta/gearen of valor and it seems to me that its almost a tie between maria gym battle, maybe ren2, and Zetta/gearen double battle just due to the amount of things that had to happen in order for the teams I was bringing to win

I'm curious of other peoples experience if anyone has replayed v11 on intense.

Zetta and Geara are hands down the hardest battle of Intense mode. Maria is easy with a Solrock and then the next hardest battle for me after Zetta/Geara battle probably was... Keta I think.

This is the place where you are stuck I assume.

Just use Rock Smash two times on this rock and you can proceed.

Honestly Jan should make a better indication of that. Like after taking it out of Caratos Mountain some people aren’t going to realize what to do.
