but thats the thing, when hjk doesnt hit the pokemon doesnt take recoil dammage, wait nvm it only doesnt work sometimes i think it might be a glitch

Correct me if im wrong but i think when you use high jump kick and enemy switches to a ghost type your supposed to take damage from not hitting, but it doesnt work that way in the game.

you dont get dazzling gleam until after the fairy gym, although i think you might have sludge bomb tm

if you have a focus sash you can try putting it on vileplum to paralyze her noivern and then it will be pretty easy to deal with, you can also try getting aquajet on clawizter just for now by talking to the move reminder on the bottom right corner of agate circus. Aquajet will destroy her archeops (if you were getting one hit before you can get a surf off, but aqua jet could definatley come in handy), save flygon for talonflame and save delphox for her mega atria. If you need to i can give you my magnazone and rotom to help you you can also catch a pilloswine with ice shard (priority) and one hit noivern

just use common candies and tbh i think metagross can 1-2 hit with zen head butt so just soft reset till that happens

i can let you borrow my magnazone but its level 80, i also have a level 80 metagross

yeah honestly up until shade's gym there were zero good pokemon i just made do with my starter and a noibat

So I'm still really new to the concept of ev training and I just had a quick question. What exacty does a EV do? I know it increases a certain stat but lets say I have a level 1 pokemon with 252 attack EV because of common candies, when I level it back up to 100 will it still have the same attack it once did? Or does EVs add attack when they leveling up so using common candies erase the attack a pokemon gets from a attack EV? Sorry if its a dumb question its just im still really new to the whole competitive thing.

I looked at the obtainable pokemon list and it says it cant be obtained but i see people with them. How is this possible? I want one so bad lol.
