  1. "Well, that is a lot less usefull... in fact, I can't even use that... lets try the last one..." Opens the last of the three chests
  2. Gary looks into the chest in disappointment. a single scrap of cloth. "Well, nothing particularly useful or interesting, but I can still use it." Gary Grabs the cloth
  3. Gary looks around the room, amazed to find it with a similar setup to old dungeons he had raided... well, all except the orbs... "not sure what those floating things are, but I am going to try one of these chests... hopefully they are not traps..." Gary attempts to open the nearest chest (first chest to the opening on the right)
  4. ((OOC: for simplicity's sake, I am going to break from my usual narration, and skip ahead....)) ((OOC: BTW, Gary still does not know Alexandria's name, as he was never told her name... so he will continue to call her 'golem-like female' until he actually knows her name)) Gary looks at the passage revealed by the golem-like female. "I agree. Anyone bring torches? I would hate to get ambushed in the dark by zombies or something..." EDIT: ((OOC: I realize Gary has torches, but he doesn't have many of them, thus why he asked))
  5. Gary had not realized these two other beings had entered the room, as he had been too busy making fun designs with the chisels. when he finally heard them, he spun around. to see the two arguing, as the ship began to slow. "I wonder what is going on out there" he said to himself under his breath as he left the room. Gary Left the Room
  6. Gary left with the small group consisting of two golem like females, two other females, and a male; only one of which he had ever met. the terrain reminded him of a jungle biome back home, and the urge to cut down a tree with his fist was one he had to hold back. once they reached a pair of large metal gates, one of the females asked them to confirm if this was indeed the place they were suppose to be, and the golem-like female he had already met replied that she thought it might, and that the situation was a bit strange. "Well, whatever it is, I think it should be interesting. I have done my share of similar things in my world as far as I can tell; in fact, I would even venture to say that these sorts of things are one of the few ways to obtain certain things where I come from... even going across dimensions to get them if that's what it takes." the male he had never met spoke up, and provided his feedback, then introduced himself as 'Jade O'Duffle'. "Greetings. I am Gary."
  7. Gary was continuing to fool with the chiseled bits when he smelled the smoke coming from near the entrance to the room. upon turning around, he noticed the translucent blue mob standing in front of the smoking box. "Excuse me, but is that suppose to be smoking like that? It smells terrible!"
  8. Her answer concerned him some, as it seemed the word she spoke hurt her throat. "Thank you. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with." Gary was still fascinated by the spider woman's ability to climb up webs; a trait not found in spiders in his universe. "Well, I guess I can fool around with these a bit," Gary said as he took out his bag of chiseled bits and chisels.
  9. It was now obvious to Gary that the spider-like mob was friendly, but suspicious of his sword; on which he took action to immediately put it away. "Sorry about the sword. Spiders where I come from are usually trying to kill me... some of them even have skeletons riding on their backs. I'm Gary. Fell free to take a few Steak... I have plenty" another idea came to Gary's mind: this was the only other being he had come across who was vastly different than the rest of them.. as far as he could tell that is. though still containing an appearance similar to his, this one contrasted from the rest as it... or, she? was also half spider. similar to him, as his blocky appearance was a definite contrast to the more detailed versions. "May I stay here a while? I find it hard to deal with the loudness and confusion of the others... I have spent my entire existence alone... though that has only been five days, all of this sudden change has me really out of it..."
  10. This truly was different than anything Gary had ever experienced. He knew spiders could climb walls, but he had never seen one actually make web to descend from above; the webs he had seen were always old and the spiders never created them (If they had, he wouldn't have had to kill them to get the silk). Another difference Gary noticed was the spider did not seem aggravated; on the contrary, it seemed interested in him... this came to no surprise, as he had gotten similar looks from the others when they first saw him. "I noticed you were alone in here and wanted to know if you needed any company," Gary said as he held the steak, now in his main hand (sword switched to offhand). Though he hadn't thought about it until that moment, what he just said was probably the truth; on the assumption the spider was friendly.
  11. ((OOC: I will put Gary's thoughts in Italics so they are obvious)) Gary, after wondering the... castle... for a while, comes upon a room that seems to be emptier than the others. peaking inside, Gary was startled to see a giant spider, larger than the ones he was used to. "Well, my guess would be it's friendly being that it is here and hasn't been attacked by the others... just in case, I should have my sword at the ready.... and maybe something as a gift of peace?" Gary thought to himself as he frantically searched his inventory for something, only to find the 20 steak, chisels, shield, and bag of enderpearls he had before leaving his house. "Maybe it eats meat... worth a shot..." *get's steak ready in opposite hand to sword* "Hello?"
  12. Gary ran though the field of grass around him, admiring his world. The sun was shining bright, and a bit warmer than he remembered it. 'Hissssss' Gary awakes to the corner of one of his feet bumping up against one of the hot objects in the forge. pulling his foot back, the damage appeared to be only to the shoe on his foot. "That could have ended badly... what time is it?" Gary asks no one in particular and definite not looking for an answer, as he does not look up and has no idea if anyone is in the room. thankfully for him, he was correct in his assumption. "I probably shouldn't sleep in here..."
  13. "I can make bows out of materials other than wood... but that does vastly decrease draw-speed"
  14. "Well..." Gary Started, "most of what I can make with spider silk are just baubles with various effects... most of them however require expensive resources such as diamonds and glowstone dust. other than that, its a crafting component of backpacks, bows, cloths, wool, and a few other random things"
  15. "There are many things I can do with spider silk, but armor is not one of them... I don't think anyway..." Gary spoke up, snapping out of his thoughts of what to call the others, as he felt 'mob' was probably not a good term to use for other sentient beings.
  16. Gary observes the few projects happening in the room, involving very different levels of knowledge in magic, technology, and smiting. Suddenly, the one using magic reals in pain after being shocked by the weapon he was trying to enchant. "Hey, you alright?"
  17. Gary had just entered the Castle, and heard the second Golem-like mob speak about a forge. "I will come. not sure how much help I can be, but I have used a forge before so maybe I can be of some use... maybe..."
  18. After naming a few foods in a somewhat comical manner, the man walks off, asking the others who about gathering food. "Well... that was interesting..." Gary said to himself, chuckling a bit, "I guess this place is better than falling into a dungeon...". "So, who built the Castle? its quite impressive!" He called out as he walked toward the behemoth structure.
  19. Suddenly, one of the mobs, this one similar to an Iron Golem in material, but closer to his height, and apparently a female, approached him, calling herself 'Halley'. Apparently he looked like a doll, though he never saw himself looking like those odd pink mob-shaped decorative blocks one makes out of colored clay. she also called these 'Trespassers' the 'Heartless'; an interesting name, and also makes them sound a bit more evil. "Hi, its nice to meet you..." then another mob, this one with purple hair, approached Gary in a friendly manner, though this one dose not introduce himself, he does seem like he is trying to lighten the mood. with some sort of simple game in his hands. "oh, ah, ok..." after thinking for a short time, he chose the quadrent on the device in the upper left corner (the mob's lower right) another... Golem-like mob spoke up, talking about the insane theory behind what the 'Multiverse' was. "That sounds like.... well... " He thought for a second "like we have a lot of space to search for these... 'Trespassers' or 'Heartless' or whatever you call them."
  20. Gary had been just standing there. He was no stranger to going to new an exotic worlds; there were 5 of them that he knew of in his Overworld (being Nether, End, Aether, Deep Dark, and Void) ... but this place was not like those. If he had understood correctly, the near Enderman-sized mob just said this was a different Universe. Well, that explained why nothing here seemed to be based on 1m x 1m x 1m cubes, and why the rest of these mobs didn't appear to be made out of rectangular prisms. This was indeed another Universe. "E-Excuse me, but I feel as though I am missing some information here," Gary inquired, attempting to fully understand the scope of the situation, "Exactly how big is this multiverse? Oh, and I also have no idea who any of you are... thus I assume you have no idea who I am; so before the intense stuff, I feel an introduction would be more fitting: I am Gary S. Modd, and I have no idea where I am right now... all I have been able to deduce is that this isn't my ... Universe..."
  21. Gary looked toward the magnificent castle in awe. one minute it wasn't there, the next it was. it had more detail than he had ever seen in such large build... in fact, he had never seen anything that big able to be self-propelled. almost more fascinating were the other... mobs?... around him, as well as the things exiting the enormous moving structure. they were not like anything Gary had seen before, though, they seemed like a more detailed version of another person... one of them caught his eye a bit more than the others... a being only about 0.75 blocks taller than he was, but covered in armor.... and the weapons... sticking out of him like they did out of Gary after a fight with a skeleton spawner in which the spawner won. suddenly, a view of Gary's death, a fall into the void in the end, flashed before his eyes; causing him to flinch. the mobs, or people or whatever they were, started to speak... surprisingly, Gary could understand the language... it was not often that mobs in the various worlds Gary had gone to made sounds he could understand... and never had they spoke, just made odd sounds like animals or things of the undead... these mobs were truly interesting... they were sentient all by themselves! no simple behavior behind them like everything else he had seen! even the Villagers from his overworld were only able to speak a few key phrases before starting repeating themselves, but these mobs were talking to one another intelligently. they appeared to have had similar glimpses of their own deaths based on their reactions to the mysterious mob, and they even were socializing... a few even fighting! this couldn't be the world he awoke in 5 days ago... "He-Hello?!" Gary called to the mobs before him. "Wh-What is this place?"
