  1. Use any move that can steal the opponents item (thief, covet, switcheroo, trick, magician whatever etc). Now your pokemon has that item. The problem is, you wont keep that item even though u stole it. Now here's where fling and recycle come in handy. Use fling to remove that item, and recycle to get that item back. That should let you have that item forever now. The logic behind this is that recycle is usually used to obtain any berry that your pokemon ate, and of course, you wouldn't lose that berry if u somehow won without using the recycled berry. The game thinks you used that item (whatever u stole from the poor clown) and brings it back just like your berry. That's about it. Now feel the guilt of you stealing from the clown who just wanted to have fun. (Sike do whatever u want with him HAHAHAHA)
  2. I'm afraid the closest thunderstone you can get is at mosswater factory, and that's pretty far from the start. (When Cain tries to go to apophyll, and you get caught up with Amaria). I believe you can get it earlier though (when you acquire rock smash) through breaking those shiny rocks that have treasure inside them. They have a chance to have a thunderstone in them. If you don't want to wait, you can ask someone in online play to trade you a thunderstone. If you wanna find locations to other items, and don't want to wait a long time for a reply from the community, consult this: Happy Playing!
  3. Sadly, I don't think there are any shiny stones available that early in the game. In the future, you can use this item guide to find what you're looking for. If you cant wait, you can ask someone to trade you a stone in online play.

    Heya!

@Xave Hope you have a great time in this community! The more the merrier right? hehe.
  5. Want an easy start to the game? Get a torchic with speed boost, and then a bidoof with moody. Those two wreck the first gyms like they're nothing. Fire in general is good to start out with because most of the people you'll fight in game in the earlier parts will have a grass type (fern, florina, the pulses), and you'll have an amazing phys sweeper in blaziken later on if it can get its speed boosts going. Water is a challenge in the earlier parts of the game because you'll face off against the 2 types they are weak against constantly (grass and electric). Mudkip is good to nullify the electric weakness immediately, and froakie's protean will work wonders for you, but they both kinda struggle mid-game during their 2nd evolutions. Poplio is good late game due to its final eveolutions typing, so if you want a water/fairy, grab her (or grab an azumarill. They're both good.) Grass? I've only used Sceptile in one of my playthroughs, so I dont know much about starter grass pokemon. I've heard that contrary snivy is a monster though, so you can choose snivy if you want to. Ehy but overall, you do you. Every starter is usable and you can just get a pokemon based on your preference or what you think is cool. Of course it impacts how difficult the game will be for you AT THE START, but its worth it knowing you got one of the pokemon you love in your team anyway. Good luck in the run! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
  6. Wanted to try something different in my runs, so I chose Popplio since I never really tried her (treecko always be the #1 pick for me, water type would be mudkip usually) AND I just love Primarina in general (although I don't really like water types. Did the monorun because of the challenge I would have at the start). Never considered Seismitoad before either since I thought he always looked stoned... but there's a first time for everything I guess. The coverage I can get from him will be a huge help throughout the whole playthrough. Seaking is just there to absorb all the electric attacks, but that in itself is way better than anything my lumineon can do sadly. Once again, thanks for the help everyone!
  7. @Teto @Sayaman Hear you loud and clear guys. I found a shiny toad while waiting for people to reply, so I think that already sealed the deal for me. Have any suggestions on who I should remove? I'm thinking of removing Rain (Lumineon), because she hits like a noodle and was literally called rain because she was the pokemon that initiated rain dance, then proceeded to faint. I wouldn't lose a rain dancer however because Ludicolo has rain dance on her too.
  8. I've come back to ask for your opinions yet again for I am conflicted on which member to switch out of my team. The last gym leader I beat was radomus, and this is the current team I have: Any suggestion on what I can change? I believe that I desperately need a physical attacker, and I think I hit the jackpot with this lady I found. The problem is, if I use this dewpider, who should I switch it with? My future plan is to remove both swanna and politoed later in the game once I get my hands on a wingull, since it can drizzle and be a flying type pokemon I need at the same time. Should I remove one of them now? Or should I remove someone else for dewpider? Lastly, if not dewpider, should I try to find any other water type physical attacker to fill in my team or should I just keep it as is? Any opinion is welcome, and thanks for the help and support.
  9. Thought I'd make it HAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyways, I'll just give the rxdata. Give me a moment. EDIT 1: Actually, I'll give it when I finish the day since I'll play some more. Don't want any wasted progress. EDIT 2: Here ya go! Game.rxdata
  10. That would mean you'd have to stay up somewhere between 11-12 pm considering I end my shift on time and come back early (which is highly likely since its Friday) so, if I do make it and you're awake, I'd be VERY happy to trade. If not, I'll just leave my Game.rxdata here later. Thanks!
  11. @Zero1Six @Starry Knight I take total responsibility for being late to what I said earlier. Worked a bit overtime and came home just now. I think this would work out way better sometime in the weekend, since I won't be available at MY entire friday, but I'll be free the entire saturday (which will probs be your friday night and saturday morning). I apologize once again, and hope you won't deter from helping me since I REALLY NEED A FLYING POKEMON for this water mono run, and ducklett fits the bill (literally). Thanks for the help!
  12. @Mr Ninjafish HAHAHAHAHA no need for such bruh. Just happy to help. Have fun!
  13. Go to your local disc (your computer), go to users, and then saved games for pokemon rejuv. You'll see the saves you've accumulated and at the end, you'll see your Game.rxdata. What you want to do is delete that, as well as the save before that. Now, copy the NOW last save (supposedly was the 2nd to last save) and rename the copy to "Game". That should make you unstuck.
  14. @Starry Knight I'll be able to go online 5-6 hrs from now. Gotta go work a shift first. Thanks for helping out!
  15. Is this the puzzle in which you have to make a darchlight mirror? I remember faintly that once I made a mistake in my first try, Erin would block the way to me getting another shard to try again. I can just suggest deleting your Game.rxdata currently, and replace it with one of the saves you had before you tried to do the puzzle to save you the time of waiting for someone who can fix it for you (I can't, but I fixed it through what I just said). Hope you find a way to fix it either way!
  16. I'm stuck in grand dream city, so I can't send a pic, but chansey can be found southeast of the entrance of the safari zone. You know you're going the right way when the path starts to have many trees, and you have to navigate through the 1 tile wide "labyrinth" until you reach a dead end at the bottom beside some cave with no entrance. The common pokemon in the grass chansey stay in are Duskull, Pachirisu, and Lickitung, so if you find those pokemon while walking through the grass, thats where you can find chansey. 1% find rate though, and shares that 1% find rate with Kangaskhan. Don't let me get started on how hard it is to catch that pink egg. Good luck though!
  17. Sorry, missed the deadline huh. I'll be online for about 10 hours starting now, so I hope I'll be able to bump into you considering this terrible timezone I'm stuck in (GMT+8) and trade. Sorry for the trouble!
  18. I know it's kind of a late reply, but I beat this gym with one pokemon alone... Alolan Raichu. Considering you can come back through the hole in the wall, I suggest you buy an aphophyll pancake and give it to your pikachu to evolve it into an alolan raichu, and let it learn thunderbolt through the move relearner. I set up one nasty plot and thunderbolted her entire team with massive success, the only hit being the first hit where I was setting up, and a drampa dragonbreath. If you dont want to go through the trouble of using pikachu, you can let your lycanroc (considering its dusk or midday) learn accelrock to beat the chatot to the punch if thats the pokemon stopping you from progressing. That's all I can think of as of the moment. Hope you can beat it no matter the strategy you use!
  19. Looking for a shiny low leveled ducklett. Started a monotype water run and was dissappointed that I got the metal plate instead of the duck I needed. Can anyone trade with me? Username: Xeraph I'll be available for the next 4 hours. May anyone help me with my petty predicament? I don't know where to place this topic, so I'm sticking to this thread. Sorry if this is the wrong thread indeed. MAY SOMEONE CHANGE THE GENDER OF MY SHINY DUCKLETT? I can't stand to think of a guy swanna. I find it too funny to take seriously. I love the design, but the things near its keel or breast make it look like a bra, and I can only stand such on a guy if its my boi Mermaid - Man. Although I'd love to name it mermaid - man myself, I'd like the ducklett to be a girl, as I bred for this sucker for far too long. Thanks! Game.rxdata
  20. So I've been trying to hatch a shiny skrelp in forever (202 attemps as of now), and I've just thought of making a shiny egg sprite for the egg of skrelp. Will the game accept such when I'm breeding (like show the sprite I made and actually hatch a shiny skrelp), and if so how the hell do I name it? #-s-Egg? Or #-Egg-s?
  21. Anyone have a spare helix fossil? Been kicking rocks for 3 hrs and have not found a helix fossil (Almost always get the shieldon one). EDIT: got one after 10 mins I think after I posted this. Thread can now be closed. Thanks!
  22. Earthquake should kill that bad boy easily. But anyway, with whatever strategy you're going with good luck!
