Apologies if this is beating a dead horse, but whenever I go to download the Episode 19 patch, Google Chrome freaks out and blocks the download. I don't know if this is a problem with the download source or the download itself. I've been trying to look on YouTube or Google for guides on what's going wrong but I haven't been able to find anything. If anyone has any idea of what's going wrong or how to fix it, that'd be much appreciated.
Can't help with Chrome, but Firefox shouldn't give you any issues - so worst case you can try that

but even with dark pulse it's not really a special attacker anyway, it's just a wall. and foul play prevents it from being too passive vs something like swords dance users. also I personally am a big fan of mixed aegislash with special investment (shadow ball, flash cannon, secred (sacred?) sword (always confuse the two, but agi only gets one of them), king's shield with a 252 spatk 252hp spread and modest nature and leftovers does wonders,
Edit: not modest ofc, I meant +spatk -speed (quiet?)

I agree with foul play being superior to dark pulse. in general umbreon also profits most from just maxing out HP (which also means bigger wishes for the teammates), and then putting the rest into the defenses however you wanna split it up - generally dark is a bit better at handling special attackers, but umbreon is already so specially defensive that physical investment won't hurt either - that part doesn't matter that much

Can't you just re download the game including the data folder? Or am I misunderstanding what the issue is?

Yea, Incubator + Shiny Charm + ability to recognize shinies before hatching + Reborn shiny odds makes it super reasonable to breed for perfect shinies

I'm pretty sure masuda method doesn't work in reborn. People can feel free to correct me though - especially since I feel like I get a shiny in like every 5th egg or something (with the charm, but still...). But yea, I wouldn't get my hopes up

not that I'm aware of, the only thing that comes close is a ball that turns what you catch into a shiny, but that won't help you ig. but breeding is so fast in this game with the incubator that it takes like 3 minutes to get a shiny once you reach that point in the game

There's always the option to go to an earlier save. But I also feel like I remember reading about someone having a similar issues that they were able to solve by redownloading the game, so idk if it even is a safe file issue. But both options are something you can definitely test out

But I'm not sure if they want you to open up a second thread there, or if you just gotta wait until they see this one and help out. Sadly a lot of threads there still have 0 replies, so it might take a while either way.

Do you have Shadow Ball? In older episodes Shade handed out Shadow Ball instead of Shadow Claw. My guess would be that you get Shadow Claw in the place where you would usually find Shadow Ball now (hidden room in the library)

The Knock Off move tutor shows up in 7th street after city restoration (and after buying all the Pokémon in 7th street - I think the one who sells them becomes the tutor)

Just go to the sweets shop, save in front of the ice cream machine and buy a bunch of the cheapest ice cream. eventually a blue moon will drop out. From time to time just reset to limit how much money you're spending. It won't take more than 5 minutes probably. Depending on your level you can also use a pick up army, but that takes longer. (edit: nvm, you mentioned the water treatment center, so pick up is not an option. the other option still works)

strange, I don't think mine looked different. if you're still having trouble you can post your safe file and I can do the puzzle, because it's kinda hard to do a step-by-step, even with starting position

I think a reasonable explanation for this would be that the wild "evolved" forms didn't actually evolve from baby pokemon, since most baby pokemon require an incense in breeding, otherwise the offspring will be the "evolved" form.
What this wouldn't cover are baby pokemon you can get without incense, like elekid - do those also come with 3 perfect IV stats? I don't remember
