    Something wrong with breeding?

    I guess you are used to breed with materials you got from trades. That's actually because Original Trainer ID also plays a part in the chances of getting an egg.

     

    The fact you have less eggs is because you're trying to breed two differents Pokemons with you as the Original Trainer.

    To put this in numbers :

     

    Different Pokemons/ Same ID : 20% chances of an egg each cycle.

    Different Pokemon / Different ID : 50%

    Same Pokemon/ Same ID : 50%

    Same Pokemon/Different ID : 80% (I guess)

     

    If you don't have it, I suggest you to get the Oval Charm, which is... somewhere under the Azurine make.

    I managed to find the stick and mulch thanks to these tips, but the berry is still difficult to find. However, if it is where I think it is(the department store) I was wondering on what floor it would be? I checked up to floor 8, so if it is beyond that, I need to get more stickers.     So i was trying to breed chikorita and turtwig

    and i used a 6 IV bulbasaur as the father

    note: all 3 belong to Grass/Monster egg group

    but the day care always says they don't seem to like each other much

     

    I know i'll eventually still get an egg but the probability of me getting one after every cycle is less which hampers my breeding pace

    is it something to do with the fact that they're starters

    and they are less likely to make eggs?

    i remember we had to chase it around the alleys in Reborn City at night time

    when it disguises itself as other mons and you have to interact with it

    but i dont know if they changed it since some alleys have berries and shizz in them now

    I gave his SOLICE application before i gave it to the guy who sells blast powder

    have you spoken to all the Magma guys, including the one in the lift? 

    the aqua guy is irrelevant because he's in my game too after giving all the applications

    If you're talking about Maxwell, I can't give him an application for some reason.  It acts as if I still haven't given people their applications.  If you're talking about the aqua guy, then I have no idea what to do with him.  Every time I try to give him an application, it says "Can't use that here" and he doesn't react to it.

    haha i actually managed to give Maxwell his application before the last one (The Meganium shop one)

    his application is only available if you upgrade the obsidia slums

    the job app is available there

    it's in the "Online Play" feature thats available on your Pokegear

    Wonder Trade lets you trade a pokemon for a random pokemon from a random person playing reborn who is using wonder trade at the same time

    so you can get some good mons there but you'll find quite a lot of useless ones too :P

    so it's a matter of luck but it's fun

    I joined the magma gang and have given the correct job applications to darm, break, nihil and kriz.  However, I can't give an application to Maxwell because he says that I still need to find someone and give them an application.  Is there someone I'm still missing?  The only person I see left in 7th street is someone from aqua, who won't talk to me or accept anything.  Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I gsve kriz his application before beating archer the second time (couldn't find archer for a long time).  Is this a glitch?

    So talked to her and she asks for her Igglybuff back (which she never gave me), i tried breeding Igglybuffs from both genders and giving them to her, even tried giving her the egg but won't take any, so i assume she has to appear as the OT.
    What do you get from giving it to her ?

    tbh, i was quite baffled by her too

    because she'll only accept her specific Igglybuff

    but one day in wonder trade, i got an igglybuff and the OT seemed like her name

    so i gave it a shot

    ...

    and it worked!

    i suggest not to worry too much since youre still very very early in the game

    you'll find mons to replace them all (besides Infernape and maybe Electross, but magnezone wins it for me :P) 

    but i suggest you build a base team that can take on whatever type you face (challengers/ gyms/ Team meteor)

    so you have fire/fighting sorted with Infernape

    maybe secure a strong fairy/psychic like gardevoir

    azumarill is a pretty solid water/fairy if you ask me (with bellydrum/ aqua jet/ play rough of course)

    so that sort of thing

     

    what people usually do is have a main and rotation team (because some gym leaders are fricking hard *cough**cough*Corey)

    so people usually take a specialised team for that

    dont worry too much about having a main team like in the usualy DS games

    in reborn, variety and having many strong mons will get you very far

     

    but obvsly avoid Hm slaves like bidoof and zigzagoon in your team :P at least later in the game

    first talk to Simon in beryl graveyard

    then dive in Hidden Tanzan Cove Lake

    Find all the dead bodies (especially one without ID tag)

    then resurface

    go east of the hidden cove

    you'll find a fisherman there

    talk to him

    he'll give it to you as you need it to complete the side quest

    I just checked because i remember he was in Agate Circus near the Circus clown battler

    but he's not there 

    maybe he was removed in E16

    but to get more shards, you could

    1. Battle the clown in Agate for shards (might take a while since he gives a single random shard)

    2. For ability capsules (i'm having trouble with these too) - make a pickup team of lvl 60+ (preferably 70+ to up chances) and go on pick up spree whenever you EV train

    3. Or simply ask people who don't need them while they trade 

     

    yeah it kinda sucks how the reset isn't working too, the price is ridiculously expensive for me too now :P

    you can only upgrade 1 in this episode 

    it's 1 upgrade per gym 

    so we'll have to win 2 more badges to upgrade the others

     

    as for calcenon

    yes you can repair the bridge

    no consequences only convenience to enter the city on foot/bicycle

    i'm guessing it should 

    maybe the stats will go +4s or +5s instead of the regular +2s in the start

    try levelling it to say about 40-50 and you should be the results
