    Screw Fern and his demonic Roserade/Ferrothorn combo. Serperior too, but that requires me to actually get that far...

      His Ferrothorn ravages Ice-types as I've learned. And this was on a Water Mono, so Fire was in short supply.

       

      Thankfully, though, I was able to - eventually - break Fern. Aya, by comparison, was not a threat.
