The soldier is caught with his breaches down. Literally. He is heeding nature's call when he looks forward and through the trees he sees a wyvern land in front of him. He scrambles backwards with a scared shout, as he barely has time to pull his pants back up when Klaren comes up. The soldier yelps as he is engulfed in light, his flesh searing in the Goddess's might. "B-Brigands! Bandits! Outlaws! Help!" He scrambles to pick up his shield and spear. Before he realizes it, an arrow shoots into his back shoulder blade, making him yelp in pain. He seems to shiver as he looks around finally realizing the party's presence. These guys are sleepy and bored! They probably think the dragon is some sort of dream. First chapter I want to make sure I'm comfortable with the system, and everyone else is. So this is obviously simple. However starting with Chapter 1 we start shaking things up a bit, let's all look forward to that.

Scholars announce that the year will be a good one, with plenty of rain and heat to grown large and healthy crops. However, the war in Dragao has left the fields empty; who will sow these crops if everyone is at war or dead? The Misguided Children, a group of freedom fighters bring the answer. You step on the wet grass, using the few trees and large grass to hide yourselves from your targets. About 10 or so soldiers, each one looking tired, bored or asleep. The last shift just happened, so there won't be reinforcements for a good 4 hours. It's early enough that they don't seem to have noticed you. The orders from the leader were simple; clear out the guards protecting the jailhouse. Release the prisoners inside, and run. Don't get caught. IC thread! Hi welcome, in a few moments the first post of the story will be posted. While the RP is in battle mode, make sure to post regularly to get that out of the way as soon as possible. I'll try to post as often as possible as well, to speed up combat. Combat and strategy are a big part of this RP, but also very time consuming. Alright friends, it's the first of August! So as of when the RP will start: I'll be delaying this until the weekend. If you do not know I am a very important rockstar bassist for a very important band (not really) and we are recording an album this month so my time for working on maps and balancing is a bit limited. Yes, I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but I'll have 6-8 slots when I start the RP. Then later on I'll periodically accept new characters 1 by one, with a final cast of probably 12 players.

As I said before: characters are chosen by quality. It's NOT first come first serve. The "Reserving a spot" doesn't actually mean anything. Make a good character, you get in. All of these characters aren't accepted either they are just the submitted ones from which I will choose later. Also thanks for pointing out my inbox was full, it's taken care of now.

There will be limited slots of 6-8 people. No deadline as of yet, and I will be choosing characters based on party composition/quality of the characters. Later down the road I will be accepting more units as I feel comfortable with dming for more characters as well as the story progresses.

No your character can be from noble families. He can be from one of Brandon's army. If there is anything I'm uncomfortable with I'll answer in the pm. Also you can just random the month if you want... It's related to something else entirely that's kind of insignificant anyways.

Ana = the highest skill cap hero in the game right now. Aim required to heal and kill people (but the no headshots make it easier I guess), sleep is a high impact but hard to hit skill, and her grenade is so wonky and has so many situations. She's all about knowing what to do and when. You should save her sleep for as long as possible. Use it only to save yourself, or to cancel major ultis (dead eye, rocket barrage, death blossom). Her grenade is either used to save a tank and heal them up as much as possible, as a huge aoe nuke/heal or to confirm a kill on a tank that a mercy is healing. Over all she can do so much! But she has to do all of it or she's bad. Over all she's great. However she can't be played as a solo healer. Always has to be paired with a Mercy or a Lucio.

By the way guys I'd like to remind you that this is just the Interest check. It's really cool that you are all making character sheets already but don't worry about them too much yet. When the OOC is up, it will have the final character rules as some skills are being changed. Don't stress about character sheets: that will come later.
