  1. "Alright let's focus on the battle, no one is getting hurt on my watch." Emilee makes her way to one of the new allies. "Hello, my name is Emilee! I'll be helping you during the fights please do your best." Move to Q7 and heal Myrdwyn
  2. "I don't know what all this business of stealing was. Cass is a good person, he looks brutish but he's not a bad person!" Emilee says confidently, oblivious to Cass' earlier nervousness or any of the clues that he might be a thief. Cade begins to speak and brief them all on the situation. Emilee's hands unite near her chest as she frowns. Yet another fight; it was their job as the royal guard but Emilee was sure that diplomacy would eventually be an option. And seeing everyone get hurt; it would be much better for everyone if they had some more help. And then, a brilliant idea struck the sister's mind and she acted on it immediately searching around for Cass. "Mr. Casserole? Cass." When Emilee found him she grabbed his hand with both of hers. "Cass, this is a very selfish request but you look very strong. Would you mind helping us out with this problem? If you need more money I'm sure our Captain will be willing to give you some allowance as well, and everyone will stop thinking you are a bad man if you fight alongside us." Emilee looks over her shoulder and notices Cade very far away. "Oh shoot! We need to hurry or else we'll lose everyone, come on Cass!" She starts running after Cade without a second thought, her hands pulling Cass along with her.
  3. Emilee tapped on her staff along with the guitarists count keeping a slow rhythm with light taps. She cleared her throat and let a full compass pass by before she began. "Drunk and merry we are friend, When the casks run without end, Drinking singing all night long, The Drunk and Merry Bunch Sailors and ruffians, scum alike! All of them happy after a pint There is no sleeping until dawn, For The Drunk and Merry Bunch So if you come in to our bar, Come and sit and sing along, A little drinking will do no wrong! For The Drunk and Merry Bunch!" Emilee finished the song smiling brightly. "Thank you so much sir... I'm sorry I don't think I got your name! I'm Emilee by the way, I loved the song. It reminded me of home."
  4. Emilee's eyes lit up as Belros offered to pay. She didn't say thank you, she obviously couldn't instead she nodded in his direction with a smile. "I can give it a shot! I think I remember 'The Drunk and Merry Bunch' the best. Can you play that one?" She asks, enthusiastic and giddy as a child.
  5. "Well get ready to wake up early then. Oh can you can invite everyone else along too. After all these country side adventures I am sure everyone would be more than happy for a little civilization. I know I am."
  6. "Sparkly... Golden thread? I'm afraid no." Anna answers as she pokes at her cheek trying to remember. "It hurts my very soul to suggest this but, you could try a different store. Tomorrow Ian and I are going to the city near by. I think Saffron and Keagan mean to come as well. You could come along dear and find a tailor somewhere in the city."
  7. "I... Don't have that much money I'm sorry." Emilee looked disheartened. "I really want to hear you play but I guess it will have to be for another day. I spent all my money on staves to help my companions. Sorry to keep you for so long, I didn't mean to be rude. Good luck with your music!"
  8. "Why not, are you in a hurry? Just one song it doesn't have to be a long one." Emilee says with a pleading smile, and her hands together as if praying. "Do you know any tavern songs? I don't mean to be presumptuous but you seem like the type of guy who knows some nice songs of the people. The type that drunken sailors sing after long days, it's always so nostalgic."
  9. "Some brat that was stuck in Nohr cells and was freed and she tried to steal our and somehow that gives her the right to stay with us." Anna said with arms crossed across her chest. "But anyhow I'm already in a lot of trouble with our commander. What do you need dear?"
  10. "Over here dear!" Anna calls out from near the cart, where she and Ian are watching over the now sleeping Cherry. Bread crumbs and half finished loafs of bread lay all around her and she looks satisfied as can be. "Just look at this, she nearly ate all our supplies and now she has the nerve to fall asleep on my cart..."
  11. Emilee clapped her hands together. She understood Belros' suspicions! For someone to have this much money and be a tourist, there could only be one answer: "I get it, I bet you must be really really good! Would you mind playing for us? Just one song? I'd love to hear something."
  12. "I'm so sorry really! Honest! Let me help you." Emilee begins to gather coins on the floor, cupping them in her hand. "I broke so many plates at my work place, and I don't know how I never notice other people but sometimes I just crash in to them. Please forgive me." She gathered some coins and handed them to the man. "Here! That's a lot of money, did you have a big pay day?"
  13. Emilee jigged and jumped through town, her healing staff on her back but two brand news staffs in her hands. Her overjoyed self barely crashed into a stranger as she passed. "Oops, I need to be more careful..." As she ran towards the fountain she spotted her companions. "Hey everyone! Look at what I bough-" Her cheerful declaration of her purchases were brought to a quick and abrupt end as she crashed into a large red haired man. She fell to the floor on her back and clutched her head. She slowly got back up. "Ow... Ow ow ow... Oh my Goddess are you okay!? I'm so sorry!" Emilee got on her knees to inspect who she'd crashed into. "Did I hurt you, I'm so so sorry!"
  14. "That sounds fair!" Emilee hands her a few coins and is saddened to find her wallet empty. However, she is happy to have new staffs that will help everyone. "Have a wonderful day, and I wish you the best of luck in your business!"
  15. "Oooh... Aaah!... This is so cool!" Were constant remarks that Emilee would make as she went through the stock. For a while she pondered exactly what she wanted. She narrowed it down too two staffs. She brought them up to the counter. "Excuse me I need your help choosing." Emilee held up the barrier staff that she had picked out. "On one hand, I've heard of this staff. It makes protective shields that can help against magical attacks. I think this could really help my friends." And then she held up the soothe staff. "On the other hand this soothe staff really matches my eye color and it looks so cute. W-would it be possible to buy them as a bundle?"
  16. Emilee held the money she was given as if it was a precious thing not to be wasted. "I better spend this wisely... Let's see, maybe a new staff to help everyone with. I'm sure everyone will be happy if I find a good one!" And so she travels to SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  17. "Mopey... Face? I don't think I understand." His expression turned confused with a shade of discomfort. It's as if it was the first time anyone asked him that question; an it was. Keagan had never taken notice that his default mode was grumpy and serious. "I smile plenty, just give me a reason to smile. And there are many things on my mind; we are fighting a war and I need to protect Saffron. Feri is precious too, and I wouldn't want Rosalyva or any of you to get hurt. Does that... Answer your question?"
  18. Emilee just looked at Belros for a while. She had so many words to say, but none of them would come out. And her pride wouldn't let her speak anyways. So instead Emilee wrapped her arms around Belros in a hug. It was a short hug, that barely lasted a second. She walked back to the tree and picked up her things. She faced the tree as if talking to it. "I'm going to protect everyone. Because people in the guard are good people. Even if they did bad things in the past, they can be good people now." She said firmly and loudly. "People can change. The bandits, the pirates, the trees. Everyone can change for the better." Emilee told the tree, and then walked back to camp with her things not looking at Belros again.
  19. Emilee looked down at the ground with a sad expression. This speech made no sense to her, his arguments made no sense. And she voiced her opinion after he was done: "No." Was her reply. "You are a great man for wanting to help others. But I refuse to believe stealing was the only option. You are talented Belros, and that is why you are here. and..." Emilee took a deep breath. The next thing she'd say was going to be one of the meanest thing she'd ever say. She had to mentally prepare for it. "AND if you really want to go back to a life of stealing than I don't want to talk to you! If you willingly keep doing wrong things, then you are a wrong person. Or... Since you help other people I guess that makes you a neutral person. But there are many ways of fighting, and many ways of doing things. And you still make the wrong choice so you are just... Just so.... so stupid!" It seemed to be hard to even say that last word, as if it pained her to even insult someone else.
  20. As he and Luka pulled, the rope straightened out the cloth over the poles he had already built making it take a cone shape. Taking a stake from his pocket, he he tied the rope around the stake and hammered into into the ground with his foot. Then he went over, and took the rope from Luka's hands without a word, doing the same thing. When he was done he wiped the sweat from his brow contemplating the tent. "No, I do not know. I lived in the palace, and I tried to learn as much about the military as I could. I'm not sure if General Garbhan himself could answer your question; or even the draft leaders who might have recruited the people you described. However if they are good with weapons, soldiers would have found a way to know about it and recruit them first." --- "I didn' mean fighting! I mean I can do tha' too bu'-" "Did you call, hon?" Anna and Ian are the first to approach cutting off her speech, Saffron joinied in a pace behind. "Oh this is the jail rat we found! I guess she found her way here huh. W-wait" Anna's brain worked at marvelous speeds when it was aimed at making a profit or understanding an economical loss. She noticed bread crumbs on Cherry's clothing, she side stepped Ecquis to look at the cart and noticed opened bags. "Thief! Rascal! Little twerp! You'll pay dearly for that bread!" Saffron and Ian react quickly catching her by the arms so she can't move forward. "Calm down Anna! Do not make a scene again!" "Ian is right Anna. I'm going to save you the public embarrassment of scolding you here; but I want you in my tent after supper. You are not getting away scott free you can quote me on that." Saffron turned her gaze on Anna. Red eyes were an unsettling thing that made the merchant gulp. Letting go of her arm, Saffron approached Cherry. Next to each other, Saffron was taller and more womanly looking but they seemed to be about the same age. Perhaps Cherry's dirty appearance didn't earn her any points in age or beauty. "My name is Saffron. If you do your part in helping us you are entitled to food as much food as everyone else." Cherry took a step back looking over Saffron up and down. "Saffron huh..." She rubbed her chin, as a mischievous grin bloomed from ear to ear. "Ya, I can be of use to ya alrigh'. I can handle myself in a figh' bu' my speciality is fortune tellin'. I can tell ta future and find things tha' can be of use. I thin' we all have a profitable future ahead a' us" She ended with an evil sounding chuckle.
  21. Emilee listened to him intently, and with a serious look on her face. "Wait!" She said, grabbing a hold of Belros arm pulling him back slightly until he was facing her. The sister flicked her finger against his forehead again, deliberately aiming for where he hit his head earlier. "How could you Belros!? Stealing is bad!" Emilee scolded, seemingly oblivious to Belros mental state or the story that could put him in such a mood. "No matter if they are good people or bad people, rich or poor you did a very wrong thing. I'm glad your turned over to honest work now; Goddess forgive you... Stealing from others"
  22. "Now ya soundin' mean mister." Cherry picks up her tome and places it under her cloak in a small pocket large enough to hold it. She keeps her hands well visible. "I'v been caugh' before. I'll play along if ya will feed me." Her eyes glint as she leaves the cart. "Plus; I think I could help ya folks ou'. Wha' are you all? Ya are armed to ta tee' and gave those soldiers a run for their money. I've go' some special abilities tha' you and your friends migh' enjoy!"
  23. "Mister, people don' jus give food ta girls like me." She looked up, revealing that she wasn't crying at all. It was all just crocodile tears, and a mocking grin spread across her face. "Ya shouldn' listen ta girls like me either. Girls like me lie a lo'." And then her stomach growled. Loudly. She looked the other way. "People call me Cherry. I followed ya friends after ta battle ended. I'm hungry. Tha's no' a lie. Can I ea'"?
  24. The sack twitched and stood still. It lay still for a bit, as if counting seconds. It moved again only on the count of 7, "Hyaaah!" A dirt red haired and rude girl jumped out of the burlap sack. A tome in her hand glowed in strange dark light. Dark spirits surrounded her, purple lights flashing through her clothes. "Back off big guy' dis my food now! Ya gonna back off if ya know what's good for-" This is about the moment in her conversation that she noticed the wyvern. Her words became stutter and her tome dropped immediately stopping her speech. She shrunk down into over exaggerated sobbing. "Don' hur' me mister please. I only wanted food I swear."
  25. Dash's wounds close themselves, and his expression lightens all thanks to Mayanna's staff. When Mayanna almost loses control his expression darkens for a few moments but he seems happy at the end, as if dreaming. The weariness keeps him sleeping though; it's likely he wouldn't wake for several hours. Keagan concentrated on his work, took a while to look over at Luka. A few moments after Luka spoke, he looked over his shoulder at the dancer. He brought an end of a rope he was holding and handed it to Luka. "Pull this." He ordered, leaving the rope firmly in Luka's hands as he went over to the other end of the tent to grab a similar rope. "I think I know more than the common man; At least I hope I do. What do you want?" He asked as he straightened the rope around the tent so it would run through the cloth and act as it's skeleton. "Pull on three; one, two, three." And he started pulling on the rope counting on Luka to do the same. --- Ecquis found mostly things the army owns; Anna and Ian had taken to carrying food and supplies shared by everyone in the cart. He also found weapons, and tools to maintain them. But clearly this was stock and to be sold. Otherwise he saw nothing strange, just weapons, food stock, an empty bag of bread, bread crumbs everywhere, and a moving burlap sack. Nothing to raise an alarm about!
