"All can be forgiven in the eyes of the Goddess;" She quoted a text, heavily ingrained in her memory. "I think as long as we try to be good people, we will be good people. But I mean really try, not say you will and then keep doing the same mistakes. I think as long as we have good intentions we will eventually reach the right path. So no, I think you can hurt other people but I don't anyone could ever permanently become bad, if they don't want to."

"You aren't a burden..." Emilee said it quietly and then repeated. "You aren't a burden! I'm sorry Belros, not speaking to you was childish and silly. I was mad because I couldn't understand your point of view, and was having a hard time understanding... Well understanding you. But you are a good person, you helped us fight here and you protected us. And just like I won't let Cass be a bad person, I won't let you be one either."
-
Everything was alright in the world; the day had been saved, Cass was getting along well with Idei which was a surprise given how little he spoke. Alls well that ends well and with everyone happy her job was done- RIGHT BELROS! Remembering that he had been hurt, Emilee looked around until she found him. She ran as fast as her legs would take her, and crouched next to him when she arrived. "Belros I'm sorry!" She reached her staff out to him and began healing, but tears welled up in her eyes. "I'm so sorry I promised I'd protect you but I wasn't there. Forgive me..."

"I'd be thrilled to show you around! Now a days people do not take the time to appreciate the history and the sights behind a city. Hearthlight has several ancient workshops, castles and churches to explore. The tour is free of charge to encourage you to buy locally from any of the shops we pass by. How many will be joining the tour?"

"EEEP!" Emilee jumped up and away from the courier, scared half to death. When she realizes there is no danger she sigh heavily a hand on her chest. "Goddess, you nearly made my hair turn white. Oh what's this?" She picked up the staff inspecting it and frowned. She wasn't keen on this type of staff, not at all. Staves were meant to help, not harm! Still, it was a gift and "Gifts are gifts. I won't refuse a kind delivery, thank you very much. I'll try and make use of it." Try being a keyword. If she could subdue an enemy and pacify them without hurting then it would be fine. But Emilee knew these staves were used to then finish off the afflicted. But if it saved her companions, it would be okay... Right?

"You could say I am a fan of the whole lineage. My name is Yasmin, I study at the College, this badge." She holds it up without unpinning her robes apart. "Is a symbol of my enrollment there as well as the symbol of the house Flamewaker The last few years I've taken to studying history, and no family is more fascinating on the face of Ignis than the Flamewakers. I guess I am a little biased since I have lived in this city all my life." Yasmin laughs off her remark. "I work as a tour guide during the summer, and to apply my studies. After all, what better way to remember everything than to teach it."

A woman standing near the fountain approaches Luka, with a bright smile. She wore gray robes with orange highlights. On the center of her robes a symbol with a a flaming sword hung pinning the robes together. "The statue itself is made of marble, but the sword is kept a lit by a simple trick of machinery. Using complex architecture the sword has tiny little holes. From these holes secretes a special type of oil called Sergius Oil. The oil was named after the same person who discovered the oil, and who this statue depicts Sergius the Flamewaker." The woman pauses as she looks up at the statue with pride. "Sergius the Flamewaker earned a noble title defending the city of Hearthlight from house Nohr in an ancient civil war. Sergius was a follower of the Goddess, and told house Nohr that if they attempted to attack the city the Goddess herself would burn them alive. Soldiers of house Nohr refused to listen and sure enough when they attempted to take the city a ring of fire surrounded the walls and burned house Nohr away. Today we know that it wasn't actually the Goddess who gave Sergius this gift, but in fact his ingenuity. He simply told his men to cover the grass outside of the city in a special oil he found while traveling in Caelum. This oil burns easily and at very high temperatures while lasting for a long time. Sergius lit the flames with fire magic and won the battle with his wits alone. He went on to found the College of Hearthlight and is the ancestor of Flamewaker line. Quite an amazing man wasn't he?"

Emilee thought on it for a few moments, and decided. "A fair but hard punishment. They should be lodged here in the island and taken care of. However for the next two months they should work for the port they have harmed. If after those two months they want to leave, if is up to them." She crossed her arms and smiled. "But honest work has a way of getting to people, I am sure they will turn around for the better."

Only slightly cloudy, the day was perfect for a walk. As the sun began to cross the sky, so did the travelers. Setting out on their little excursion, with yawns and complains about it being too early. Anna and Ian seemed absolutely fine, the only two who regularly woke up at the peak of dawn. Trees slowly began to disappear as they left the forrest. Instead they were replaced with tree stumps or tree saplings. At some point the party crossed two woodcutters, cutting down a massive oak. Eventually trees disappeared completely into plains. Instead of a clear path in the forrest, there was now a stone path. And in the distance, the party could see walls, and peaking far in the distance a large stone tower reaching high into the clouds. "That's the home of the Flamewakers. Feri told me that the top floors are all for the noble family, and the lower flowers are the university. I think he even taught there once." But being able to see the city in the distance didn't make it come any faster. The party still took a few more hours, and the sun was in the middle of the sky, perfectly above their heads when they arrived. Up close, the walls of the city seemed much less impressive. They were newly built, seemingly built with old stone wreckage of whatever was there before. The guard let the party pass without incident. Saffron glared daggers at Anna during the whole ordeal, and Anna seemed stiff and scared as if a dragon was threatening her. Passing the city gate revealed the wonders of the city; Houses upon houses, neatly arranged. Wherever each member of the party came from, Hearthlight was unique to any other sight they would have seen before. The roads were spacious, and every house looked the same. Two story houses built from dark stone, with room in between them to go towards the back or to other parallel roads. The city was a bit smokey, as several furnaces burned on different parts of the city many times on the second floor of one of these houses. The city was buzzing with activity, even in the clearly residential area from where the party entered. They reached a fountain with a statue of a large man. Long beards he had, and from his open mouth sprayed water going down his robes. His face was stern and he held a sword up to the sky. The sword was ablaze, covered in some oil that kept it alight through rain or cold. "Ian and I are going this way towards the merchant's guild." She said, pointing westwards. "To the East there should be the main market place and North will lead to the main road, and then to the college." "That's where Keagan and I are heading. Feri asked us to speak to an old friend of his about some matters. And speaking of which." Saffron changed her tone, trying to sound more imperative rather than her usual princess-sounding voice. "I want no trouble from any of you. We've had more than our handful from certain people." The hairs all over Anna's body stood up straight as she shivered. "And also we are outlaws. Flamewaker is neutral to our cause, and won't go out of their way towards delivering us to the king. However they won't hide us from him either. Not to mention we can never know who is hiding in the city; there may be many of Roswell's supporters hiding behind stalls. So today we are simply mercenaries, no talk of revolution or thrones. If you run into trouble do not fight; run towards the college. If we'll find any allies in this city, it will be Feri's old friends." She exhaled letting air out of her lungs, and putting on a smile. "With that said, I hope you all have fun. We've earned ourselves a nice rest. And if anyone would like to come along you are free to join us."

The priestess' face went from a smile, to shock, to sadness. She looked at the ground and mumbled. "Why are all of you thieves." Emilee then shot up, her gaze turning on Cass with a deadly glare. "No. You are no longer a thief Beef Casserole. I won't let you steal, I won't let you bandit, I won't let you be a bad person because a bad person you are not!" She bopped Cass on the head with her healing staff. "I've had it with thieves, I've had with bandits, I've had with pirates! You are a good person now, do you hear me? You are good!" Emilee began to breathe heavily after her outburst. When she composed herself she turned to the captain: "Captain, is it okay if Casserole comes with us? He has helped us today, we should pardon him and protect him. I won't let him steal on my watch."
-
Emilee took the cue to explain her motives. "I thought we could use all the help we could get, and Cass looks... Well beefey!" She giggled at her own joke. "Plus everyone was saying mean things about Cass. Saying how he stole something and how he was a thief. I don't believe it! Cass has proven he is a good person today, and he deserves to be treated as such. He's helped us, and he bravely tried to protect me." She paused and put a finger on her bottom lip. "Although, I was sure he was a fighter of some sort... I thought your music was just a hobby."
-
Emilee nodded at Cass. "I'm counting on you," And with determination behind her steps, she reached the captain quickly. Her staff began to glow and she stared down the enemy. "Give up. Your crimes will be punished one way or the other. If you live today, you will have time to repent your crimes to our Goddess." Emilee gave a brave speech, but her hands were shakey. Even so she managed to control her staff, and heal the captain back up. Heal Mandatte while moving to M13

"That!" Radburn pointed at Rosalyva with renewed vigor. "That is a swordmaster's way! Let's warm up before we depart!" Radburn laughed as he took a few steps back and unsheathed his wooden blade, holding it in front of him with both hands, and smiling as if he was having the time of his life. --- "I'll take care of myself. I want to get well as fast as possible so I can help everyone again." Dash answered. "I wonder what Hearthlight is like. I want to see castles and temples and city stuff!"
-
"I do not need another sword! This wooden blade has defeated many foes and will slay dragons! Ha ha!" Radburn unsheathed his weapon, and pointed it at the sky boasting proudly. But as Rosalyva's next question rolled out he sheathed the weapon and seemed to calm down. He sat on the cart and said in a calm voice; not the heroic boastful Radburn voice. "This sword was a gift from my little brother. It's important to me, and it's a symbol of my dream. It reminds me of people I love, and what I strive for. It might be just a wooden sword to you but to me." A grin spread across his face. "To me, this sword is sharp enough to cut a dragon in half." Dash looked drowsy, getting up slowly and yawning. But at the first mention of the city, his eyes lit up. "The city!? Yes I want to go to the city! I've never been outside of Laguna Port!" He got up as fast as he could, and being Dash it was pretty fast. However, the straining movements of lifting himself off the ground put a hurt on his recently healed muscles. "Ow ow ow ow... I swear I'm okay just please let me come! I'll behave Miss Maya!"
-
Rosalyva found Radburn sleeping on his side, arms wrapped around his wooden sword. He was sleeping quietly, but a small snort bubble on his nose was slowly enlarging... and shrinking... enlarging... and shrinking with his breathing. It popped as Rosalyva woke him, and he got up swiftly. "Another challenger has come to fight great Radburn huh!?" Radburn said proudly and sleepily, clearly still dreaming. "I'll take you on; we'll fight on the corpses of the thousands of dragons that I killed by myself! Do you really think you can face the GREAT RAD- Oh it's you Rosalyva! I was having the best dream." He scratches the back of his head in embarrassment as he gets up and stretches. "The city? Sounds like fun, let me get my things!" He was sleeping in the same clothing he always wore, but with the armor off. He simply grabbed a sheathe from the corner of the tent and sheathed his sword and placed it on his side. "I'm ready."
-
"Belros!" Emilee yelled in terror as she saw him going, and sighed relief when someone got him up. Her heart was beating at the beat of the fastest tavern song, and tears welled up her eyes. She wasn't there to help him, and she couldn't go now. After a moment's thought she wiped her eyes with her sleeve and took action. She moved towards the wyvern rider and start getting to work. "I beg of you, Lady Knight. Go help Belros. Idei you too please! He's a good person don't let him get hurt!" Move to N8 and heal Myrdwyn

The night went on calmly, no intruders appeared and the soldiers of House Nohr were far far away. The camp rest calmly under the summer breeze. It was quite a warm night; with crickets and other animals making a soft natural orchestra around them. 17th of First Heat "Klaren, Klaren dear wake up." Anna shook the sleeping Klaren awake at the early dawn. The sun wasn't fully in view, obscured over the horizon and the first rays of dawn were all the light in the world. It must have been barely 6 am. "Go rouse your friends awake, if we want to make it to the city by midday we have to leave now. We'll leave with or without you~" Outside the tents, Anna and Ian were loading up the cart and getting the horses ready. Meanwhile Saffron and Keagan were waking themselves, both seemingly sleepy and unaccustomed to waking up this early. Everyone else in the camp is fast asleep. The previous night Feri stated that he would stay behind in camp to watch for their belongings; but if any of the heroes wished, they could invite others in the camp to come a long for a chance to get them know better or adventure.

"Time to try out my new staff;" Emilee says with excitement. She holds it over her head as it begins to glow. she stretches her other hand out open palm stretched towards Idei as energy begins to surround him creating a translucent shield. "Wow it's so pretty..." Emilee almost loses focus for a few moments until she snaps back to reality. "Oh uh, Idei! Don't fear the mages, my barrier will protect you!" Move to P7 and barrier Idei
