Bob of the A

Well, there's a lot of progress, but still one problem. The save works fine now, so THANK YOU SO MUCH for that. My character is the pink-haired female, but the trainer card shows her as a male with brown hair (wearing a dark jacket and green scarf, if that helps.) Any idea what might be causing that. If nothing else, at least I can play the game now.

Attached is my current save game. I am using V9, and this save file works fine with it, but when I try to patch to v12 I get an EOF (corrupted save) error. I don't know how to fix it, because it runs fine and DOES NOT give me an error message when running through the V9 launcher. Am I messing something up in the patching process? Game.rxdata

Hi all, I'm trying to update from V9 to V12, but I've been getting EOF errors when I try to start the patched V12 game. It lets me open the game like normal, but my trainer appears as a different character under the character page and when in battle. I kept a clean version of my V9 folder unpatched, and all my savefiles work normally when I open that version of the game. Is there something I'm missing?

Oh right... It's been so long since I last played that I've forgotten what I used each item for. I'm still stuck in the castle, trying to figure out how to get the mining kit. All I know is that I've done the first Braixen event, and Saki said something about looking for secret passages/rooms in the castle. I think I might be supposed to go back to the cells, but I have no idea what to do down there.

Quick question, what do I use the defibrillator for? I completely forgot what I'm supposed to do with it.

I think I just talked with them (Saki, Adam, and Valarie), because they all left the field (there are some random NPC's left, as well as that Emma person). I think Saki and her friends said something about heading back to the cells, but I'm not 100% sure...

I've met with Braixen, and Neved is the warden, right? I've met with him once, and he told me what he'd done to Aelita. The last thing i remember doing is talking to Saki about looking for secret passages/rooms.

Yeah, he won't give it to me. I'm not sure what I have to do, because he just says "I have nothing for you. Scram!" I'm pretty sure I've talked to everybody I can, and I get zapped by lasers if I try to go to the east field where the rocks are, so I don't know what it is that I have to do. Knowing myself, I'm probably missing something that everybody else already got.

Forgot to ask, but which guards do I talk to in order to get the mining kit?

I still need help at Blacksteeple castle. I have done the first Braixen event, and then I remember Saki saying something about hidden rooms/passages, but I have no idea what to do now. I have talked to literally everybody in the castle, and I am at a point where I can no longer progress through the game. Its been a few weeks since I last played, because there is literally nothing I can do. If someone could tell me what I'm supposed to do, that would be a big help. I also noticed a cracked wall in my cell, but I don't know what it does (selecting it only brings up a line of dialogue.)
