  1. Petition to ban all Ubers, gg Come on, just deal with it. You guys have, like, thrice the amount of Mega-threats that we have here. Drill harder and you'll see plenty of ways to counter M-Gengar. (Also no I'm not gonna help you beat us.)
  2. Oh, are you suggesting something? I guarantee you that any airborne threats will be put down cold. That of course includes you if you ever think about laying waste to our glorious hall.
  3. Tai, failing to fall into deep slumber, woke up shortly after. He noticed the absence of the duo, and walked to the table which they sat at. His eyes rested on the half-finished plate of food. "Would they ever return to finish this?" He thought. He couldn't move his eyes away from the leftovers on the table. The leftovers were echoing with Tai's memories, memories which he tried to leave behind. "Hey, kid, ya hungry?" "...yes?" "Look at that dumpster. I dug leftovers from it and hid them beneath it. It's all yours." "You must be more hungry than I am, right?" "Call it a gift from a withering man." "You worked for it, but I didn't. I can't just take your fruit of labor like this." "...well then, how about playing a game?"
  4. "Nice food." Tai seemed content with the restaurant. "I suppose a nap will be fine." He leaned back to the comfortable seat and fell asleep.
  5. Tai finished his soup, and looked around. He noticed the tall woman pressing against the person in a dark cloak. To him, they looked more like friends, so he decided to not bother with them. He walked past the bizarre duo and took a plate of pumpkin pie to his table.
  6. Tai suddenly felt a sharp glare. He looked around to see if there was anyone else around. Finally, he saw the cloaked stranger. He held still for a few seconds, and then proceeded to grab a plate of steak and fries. "Ah, the Hellfire Knight." He thought to himself. "Food first, socials later." He finished his plate again, and went for a bowl of seafood soup.
  7. Tai - Visit the food car Tai wasn't really concerned about how the train was decorated, he only cared about the word "food". As soon as he was allowed to move around freely, he rushed to the food car and grabbed a plateful of meat, fish and some boiled lettuce. He sat down at a table, and before you knew it, he finished the meal and was ready for another round. He probably forgot about the horrible loss already. Not only that, he also ignored the lone person covered in a dark cloak completely. An amazing feat considering the cloak makes the person stand out in the glittery restaurant.

  9. Crobat (A/A+ Rank) + Obtainable as a Zubat right after 2nd Badge, but only as an one-time event Pokemon. + Evolving is not bound by level caps, as it's a happiness evolution. Grind Happiness and EVs together by fighting in the EV Training center. + Comes with an amazing 130 Base Speed that can outspeed powerful threats like Dimensional Rift Pokemon and Legendary Pokemon. + Learns Acrobatics at Level 35 (Or 31 as Zubat), right at the 3rd Gym level cap. It's an incredibly powerful STAB move that nets Crobat OHKOs and 2HKOs against many frail Pokemon. + Gets Zen Headbutt from breeding with Hoothoot/Noctowl. If you want it before 4th gym, you must raise a Hoothoot to level 37 first. + Gets Hypnosis from breeding with Noctowl, which is incredibly useful at shutting down a variety of threats, notably Dimensional Rifts Pokemon and Legendary Pokemon fights. It can turn the tide of the battle if it manages to score a Hypnosis that lasts more than 1 turn. + Gets Confuse Ray and Haze from level up to further extend Crobat's supporting prowess. + Rather bulky for a fast attacker (85/80/80 spread), capable of tanking STABless Thunderbolts (If it doesn't have a SpD lowering nature, it's a 2HKO.), and shutting down Fighting-Types completely with the quad resistance. + Performs extremely well against Narcissa, being the only Pokemon capable of outspeeding the Gengar at that point of the game...and OHKOing it with Acrobatics. + Sweeps Aelita, Rorrim B. and almost all of Crawli's Pokemon. + If you need a Rain Dance starter that's not named Politoed, Crobat's here for you. It's guaranteed to set up rain as it can easily outspeed the opponent. - You have to beat a Kingdra boss and a Crobat gang in order to get Zubat. You also have to get Flash from gambling in the hotel first. - Crobat will have to stick with Acrobatics and Poison Fang as its STAB moves until you get Heart Scales to relearn Cross Poison. X-Scissors TM come pretty late as well. - Without enough Attack EVs, Crobat will miss out on important 2HKOs like against Angie's Froslass. - Crobat's physical movepool lacks variety, making it easily walled by Rock-types. - With Murkrow axed, Crobat can't get Nasty Plot. Along with the lack of good Special TMs at the moment, the specially offensive side of Crobat is rendered useless. - Crobat's offensive abilities just can't keep up with the increasing difficulty. In late game, it will find itself unable to KO bulkier threats without landing a Hypnosis first.
  10. In Dr. Jenkel's "Simulator", I can't repeat the Goldenwood Incident after I beat it (Defeating Zetta in there). When I try to do it again, I just get a "Simulation Complete" message immediately after I enter the portal, then I get sent back.
  11. ...I see. I was sour by my general writing so far, which consisted of "charge head first" and "get punished badly". Then again, maybe it's better that way, for this fight at least. I was too late in being "tactical", everything lead up to that point hints Revenant coming on top, and I shouldn't really destroy that. Sorry. I'll restore the post to its former state, a clean ending.
  12. Stratos, the reason why I allowed the bear hug to succeed was: After dodging, the range was closed in enough for the inferno to affect Revenant, causing him to overheat. I'm not sure whether the Tesla Spheres docked in his limbs could take the heat, considering their small size implies low mass. Regardless, due to Revenant locking into the wind-up and the charging phases, he shouldn't be able to perform any moves right after it. Think of it like the "ending lag" of the moves in fighting game. With Revenant overheated, Supernova should be able to catch him with ease, as the heat pretty much forces him to stay still to cool down, or completely break down from trying to move. (Yes, I know I redacted the original post. But come on, the storm should be easily avoidable by all the hints from the mech.)
  13. Supernova vs. Revenant The high-speed spheres were greeted by the blazing shots and the whirling flames. They were slowed a bit and their trajectory tilted. The sphere that went for the helm missed, but the other sphere hit its target. The force was weakened, but it was able to completely pierce the bottom of the mech, while almost dismembering the thighs. Massive amount of flames came out of the newly opened hole, reinforcing the shield. The electromagnetic storm found itself in an awkward state, with most of it weakened and diverted by the crossing flames, but the front of it managed to get through before getting caught, blasting Supernova away like he was hit by a tidal wave. Some of the blasts fired were able to hit their marks, although they won't change the outcome anymore. >Heat Capacity: 100/150 (+30 Every Turn, due to the newly-opened hole) Tai struggled to get up...it was tough, but he stood up tall again. The blazes were everywhere, the shield covered nearly a fourth of the arena. He stared at the swordsman beyond the flames. What he saw wasn't a demon, but a master in combat. He looked at the immolating core, desperate to dispense more flames. "Not today..." Tai said, with a scent of disappointment. He initiated the shutdown sequence. The core slowly dried out, and the shield dissipated. The wild flames vanished into the air, without a trace. >Heat Capacity: 0/150 With that, the match concluded, with Revenant prevailing against Supernova.
  14. Supernova vs. Revenant The shockwaves were heavily weakened by the the storms of fire coming out of Supernova. When they got through the flames, they were barely able to affect the machinery like they did before. >Mini Cannons Recovery Complete >Heat Capacity: 80/150 (+20 Every Turn) "Come on! Where was the magnetic monster I feared so much?" Supernova launched a barrage of energy blasts from his palms as he went for another rocket-boosted bear hug. The blasts were reinforced by the chaotic inferno generated by the core. They were like dragons from the depths of hell, searing through any unfortunate object barring their ways. The arena was cast a vermilion hue by the wild flames...
  15. Before I sink into the decision completely, I should ask this first: Is death in the arena permanent? Or is there some sci-fi respawn system that restores everything upon death?
  16. Supernova vs. Revenant Somehow, the Revenant repelled Tai's effort and blasted him away. He was struck with fear - the machines in the chest were half-broken. The mech was flung meters away, with the shield system sparkling with embers, completely exposed. "Hah...swordsmen...incredible adversaries. The only way to win...is to raise the stakes." Tai ignored the ongoing recovery of the shield system, and punched through his chest. What was a deep sword cut turned into a gaping tunnel. A huge amount of flames flowed into the chest, melting the machinery inside, and created a burning core. It was almost like they were too eager to get in the malfunctioning shield system. The rest of the flames escaped from the holes and created a giant shield of flames surrounding the mech. The heat could rival an erupting volcano. The shield of flames seemed to be much stronger and bigger than what the shield system could've created, covering a big radius around him instead of just coating him, but once the flames tick out, only a fiery explosion awaits. Tai could feel the incredible amount of heat generated beneath him, something that can't simply be quelled by the cooling units in the operator chamber. He initiated the recovery of the palm's mini cannons, which should be rather quick due to them not being activated when the shockwaves hit. The mech...no, the Supernova rocketed straight at the Revenant, with his giant fists going for a bear hug. He was fearless, knowing that the demon's best hope was to outlive his burning core, or else burn in a fierce explosion in a melee clash. [Nova Strike disabled, Self-Destruct upon heavy damage to the core or when the heat exceeds the mech's capacity]
  17. Supernova vs. Revenant The lightning-fast shockwaves hit the mech almost instantly, jamming the cannons and the shield system's shield trigger, but the rockets easily recovered from the shockwaves thanks to their circuit's simplicity. "Damn! And I was so close to gathering enough heat..." Tai initiated the recovery of the shield system. "If I stop right now, I would be giving up the offensive...and that's just not gonna happen!" He then warped to the front of the sword demon, going for a rocket-boosted straight punch to the chest.
  18. Once again, I apologize for my wordings, but I guess I'll deal with the errors I've made so far. The Fire-Shield resists energy-related attacks ("quite well"), and I'm not sure whether electromagnetic shockwaves fall in that category or not. Anyways, that wouldn't matter right now because it's impossible to respond to the lightning-fast shockwaves regardless of Tai's position in the arena. (In theory, if the electromagnetic shockwaves count as energy attacks, the shield system will most likely lose the power to transfer heat to the Fire-Shield, causing the shield to wear off soon)
  19. Stratos, how fast would the shockwaves travel? Considering the range Tai had (He was circling around the arena), I think his reflexes would be sufficient enough to activate his Fire-Shield before they hit.
  20. I noticed that Narcissa's AI is a bit broken. The AI isn't aware of the haunted field and never uses Ghostly Wail on Normal-Type Pokemon, causing problems like: Drifblim only using Hypnosis+Dream Eater and passing Tailwind. Mismagius refusing to use Ghostly Wail against Normal-Type Pokemon. Spiritomb only using Hypnosis+Dream Eater and occasionally Spite. Rotom using Thunderbolt as its only offensive move (Diggersby can easily stall it to death) This makes Sawsbuck (Normal/Grass) able to seed all of the aforementioned Pokemon to death. Is this intended or not?
  21. Alright, I'll be fixing that. Thanks for the insight.
