Been thinking for a little bit: -considering that Z/O had a lengthy postgame, Insurgence is probably going to have one too (at least involving that Pokemon World Tournament or whatever. At their current versions, Reborn and Insurgence are about at the same place in terms of the league (5/18 vs 2/8, plus E4). Since it's been said the story will end for Reborn a little bit after the league win, it's possible that some of the story/plot growth for Insurgence may take place during that extra postgame time. -there's this imbalance between characters where more characterization happens to the characters not involved in the (presumed; involving the beginning events which will remain unspoiled) main plot. There's a decent amount of characterization for a certain cult leader who hasn't even had a battle yet, while all I know of another is "sister" and "revenge" (my personal two favorite leaders actually) There's still time, though. The pacing is vastly different from Reborn. Also, less updates means less time to pour over comments/errors. -Maybe Damian and Nora could end up having life-saving character growth with the update? The setup's there. Have to admit, they need it and also backsprites too but that is my literal only problem with the coding -The second gym battle is just a literal advertisement for the Secret Base trainer. I was spoiled on it (and probably not alone tbh) but it beats grinding on Sudowoodos and Furfrous until the crows come Also free money is great. The only thing that's to be said is, really, wait for 1.2. Also, Mega Hydreigon. There's that.

So I've been stuck on Narcissa for...uhh...the game files say December... I feel bad asking, but at the same time I have a mighty desire to see the rest of the game, y'know? As for other dark types in my PC, I have a Poochyena, Houndour, Nuzleaf, and Pancham, but they're p low level (7, 15, 15 and 19, respectively) I've never had any luck with using Dark moves anyway, because of the field effect - a clean 2hko doesn't mean jack when any one one of Narcissa's mons can 1hko - which is why Paris's been sitting in the PC lately too. Honestly, it's been so long I don't remember if there's anything I could go back to get that would help. Idek if the about 23k Poke I have is a lot for my place in Rejuv. I have a few Reverse Candies, a water and thunder stone, and I still have my Time Flute, if that helps. Does Rejuv have a Link Stone equivalent, I wonder... (My usual strategy: I've been trying to prey on the secondary type. -I try to take out Drifblim w/ Bonsly's rock moves, Drifblim usually outspeeds and can survive more than 2 Rock Slides unless crit, while Ghostly Wail can 2hko at times. Best case scenario: Bonsly survives w/ <10 HP -I can usually curse-kill Chandelure, Seismitoad can take Rotom with some time, Spiritomb semi-reliably falls to Will-o-Wisp Dusclops -Mismagius outspeeds all of my mons and its Ghostly Wail can 1hko any of my team (I haven't checked for Arbok, though, I can only assume) -I've never seen her last Pokemon.) I'm crazy appreciative of any help I can get!

Each game is its own (p awesome) thing - they excel and add two completely different things. Personally, all those ideas into one game, as a Pokemon game, feels like it'd be a bit much???? But didn't both of them say that after their respective Pokemon games, they're planning an original game? It'd probably work better that way. Of course, It'd likely never happen, because of their respective schedules (by far I hope they put themselves first), but maybe it'd just happen to be that they put nods towards each other in these new games, taking suggestions from one another, etc. And it's just a personal opinion, but I think that the reason Insurgence gets a lot of flack for its plot is because it and Reborn take two different angles and speeds with it. In Reborn, there's a pretty well-defined main plot and several side plots, while it seems like Insurgence has it written so that the main plot doesn't stick out too much from the others (probably on purpose.) That makes it kinda jumpy, yes, but that's at benefit to the characters. Reborn has more revealed about its characters, but both it and Insurgence have complex characters, just in different ways.

NO KIDDING. I have no idea what Ruby means (unless it's the gen 3 style of Pokemon Essentials) but I've encountered many screw-ups already. Mostly of the door variety. Right now, it's just a calming hobby (in other words, I'm a filthy casual, due to college/work) but one day, y'know? Soooooooooooooo...after far too long after finishing E15 and checking the status thread way too often and graduating to all the other awesome discussions, it's probably time to start contributing, right? First: late-night edit: Names are important. I can go by Adaliene or Confess-a-bear here, I suppose The main reason I'm finally kicking myself in the pants and introducing myself is the idea of making new friends - in the Reborn community, Pokemon community, the Et Cetera community...whatever! Got a lot of love to give (not the friendliness pellets kind either). The way to my heart is through killer music, aliens, and plot (I'll take it over art style, functionality, everything; besides games like Reborn and Undertale, my favorite game is To The Moon) Plot is love, plot is life, plot officially brought my OC to life and inadvertedly started its own region sorry not sorry. I also have this pretty abysmal habit of getting attached to my Pokemon regardless of their stats - I still have my Drifblim from Shade's plant on my team, and have no plans of switching him out. Honestly I hadn't played anything besides Sapphire until I was introduced to fangames so I like to credit Reborn for like 3462% of my skill.
