Regarding the ground type, I'd like an excadrill, but i don't know where to get one I do have a shiny sandshrew, which i forgot to mention and i plan to train too
-
Welcome to the club!
-
You don't even know. I sent him first against Ciel's Togekiss, paralysed it and then i hit 3 charge beams, upping my sp atk. 3 times. Used an X Speed, and then electroball'd togekiss. Oneshotted it. And Archeops. And Noivern. then he missed and talonflame took him down but hey, no complaints hehe

Hey everybody, just finished Ep. 15, and i wanted to share my team with you, and get a few recommendations and opinions. I'd like to note that i don't EV train, or breed, i just use what i found: that's the way RBY was played and i'll stick to that. I feel that doing all that to get more powerful pokemons kind of takes the fun out of the game. My main team consists of (everything between levels 72 - 76): Pachirisu: -Charge Beam -Grass Knot -Nuzzle -Electro Ball Pelipper: -Hydro Pump -Hurricane -Surf -Rain Dance Pangoro: -Sky Uppercut -Crunch -(Strenght/Rock Smash) -Low Sweep Meowstic: -Miracle Eye -Dark Pulse -Psychic -Psyshock Delphox: -Future Sight -Fire Blast -Flamethrower -Psychic Weezing: -Destiny Bond (MVP against Ciel's mega altaria) -Shockwave -Venoshock -Sludge Bomb Besides that, i'm going to train the following pokemons, to make a second team: Cubchoo - Kadabra - Luxio - Duskull - Kabuto - Noibat And i'm also interested in training the following ones: Aerodactyl - Beldum (once i get a shiny one, i'm still softresetting hehe) - Cyndaquil - Piplup

Blaziken could have a hard time in there, as he's part fighting and you're against flying. Her togekiss can be a pain, but if you take it out quickly it shouldn't be a problem; zebstrika should be able to take togekiss quickly. (if you can make her potion spam, even better.) then she sends her archeops, which has a choice band (at least i think it does, it always kept using earthquake on my pelipper). If your zebstrika is fast and strong enough, you should be able to sweep it, if not he'll surely kill you with earthquake: if he does send something strong or inmune to ground, as it'll keep spamming earthquake. Her noivern was a pain in the ass; i had to destiny bond it, so can't help you there. Try ice attacks if you have any, they are your best bet. Her talonflame should go down to a strong water attack, so no problem there, as your blastoise covers that. Her gliscor was easy to me, a critical fire blast from my delphox set it to sleep, but it was a lucky hit. As he's part ground, i'd suggest some ice attacks too, and same with mega altaria: use ice attacks, fairy, dragon, everything you have. I had no choice but to revive my weezing and use a second destiny bond, but i'm sure you can make it, as i believe your team to be better balanced for this fight. Just keep trying, i'm sure you'll succeed!

I'm kinda stuck in the water treatment center, i just got the beryl grid key but i got lost and i don't know where to go. I managed to get back to the Opal grid (that part where titania says go west, i go north), but everywhere i go from here i just end up going in circles. Can someone help me out? EDIT: I'm a dumbass. Found it please keep scrolling, nothing to see here

haha ok, will do! EDIT: yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss after some 4 and a half hours, i managed to beat it. MVP World Champ Pachirisu managed to survive two turns, paralysing darmanitan and typhlosion. Pelipper set the rain, and the ass kicking Hydro Pumps! OHKO Darmanitan, Charlotte sent Rotom out, with pachirisu out i sent meowstic and withdrew Pelliper and sent Pangoro in; in 2 turns, with 2 crunches and 2 psychics Rotom was out. Volcarona sent, double heatwave kills them both :c. I send Bossipper out again, with weezing to provide assistance; her Delphox falls to the all mighty Hydro Pumps! (good thing that i found a pp up and used it in hydro pump, right?) typhlosion is parahaxed, like, forever. Ninetails out, I use rain dance and a rainbow field is created, losing the fire bonus. Two hydro pumps and it's gg! Thanks Hiroki for providing the strategy, you da real MVP

Now that i've tried it, i'm sure it's perfectly doable. I just need to return pelipper when she sends out rotom, and try to kill it asap. if i manage to kill rotom and keeping pelipper alive, it's gg. pangoro can OHKO her delphox with a crunch, her volcarona falls to a double psychic attack from my delphox and my meowstic. her ninetails hits hard but it's not great at defense. Anyway, i'm posting it, if you wanna check it out and have fun EDIT: ok, it doesn't let me upload it, sending it via pm
-
yeah, even though darmanitan's rock slide and rotom's volt switch are a bit annoying. If i had a quick claw i'd be the happiest pokemon trainer in all of reborn
-
okay it seems i sold all the damp rocks, but i found a mystic water in my bag hydro pump OHKO'd 3 of her pokes, then she landed a crit and pelipper was out but it seems this way i can make it, i'll try again and let you know
-
i have like 12 damp rocks, i love mining <3 I have only one question to that: when i use surf, steam rolls up and accuracy goes down (overheated field). So it kind of backfires, as my pelipper will start missing hits, making it quite harder.
-
yeah, i share your thoughts regarding my situation hahaha. I can't go to ametrine, i need dive and to use dive... i need charlotte's medal. i DO have squirtle, piplup, carvanha, tirtouga and even a shiny sandshrew in pc, but they are all lvl 15-30.
-
Need help beating Charlotte Team: Pachirisu lvl 67 -Discharge -Double Team -Nuzzle -Electro Ball Pangoro lvl 67 -Sky Uppercut -Strength -Hammer Arm -Crunch Weezing lvl 67 -Destiny Bond -Sludge Bomb -Venoshock -Explosion Meowstic lvl 67 -Miracle Eye -Sucker Punch -Psychic -Psyshock Pelipper lvl 67 -Rain Dance -Hydro Pump -Hurricane -Surf Delphox lvl 67 -Future Sight -Fire Blast -Flamethrower -Psychic I've tried everything, even buying 15 cotton candies and wiping them all with weezing's destiny bond. They all outspeed me and one hit my pachirisu, so i can't paralyse or at best i can paralyse one pokemon. The darmanitan is my worst problem, as it takes out at least 3 of my pokes before i can kill him. And i was too lazy to train more than six pokemons (i like learning things the hard way ) The pokes i have in pc that would be useful are between levels 15 to 30. I could use exp share and train them around in the wild, but it'd take ages and i really don't want to, unless there's no other choice
-
Will do, thanks!

So it's saturday... [slight SPOILERS I suppose]
Wolfram2700 replied to MasamuneTenshi's question in On the Hunt
I'm almost sure i read somewhere that lapras appeared on fridays. I'll see if i can find that post and link it here -
Okay, so i'm trying to beat Charlotte, but it seems that his team totally destroys mine (see training card; pelipper has surf instead of tailwind, btw if someone could tell me if i can modify it instead of making a new one that'd be great. All of them are lvl 67, level cap is 70). So, my best bet is to grab something from the pc and train it to this level, i have several water pokemons, a cubchoo with near perfect IV's, a shiny sansdrew which i'd love to use. but the thing is they're all under level 30. (yes, i was too lazy to train more than 6 pokes, i like learning things the hard way ) That's a problem, because i can't go back to the city due to agate vity being asleep, and the wild pokemons here are around lvl 45 and up. I thought that maybe going through citrine mountain i'd end up at shade's gym in beryl, but i got lost and had to escape rope (yes, i get lost really easily. i know, stop looking at me like that :c) Can anyone help me out here? Because i really don't know what to do now
-
And that's why i love it. Nothing better than the game I love to destroy me Regarding the Tangrowth issue, i'd recommend having your pokemons near the level cap, that'll help a lot for that battle and next ones to come. And remember, even your fodder has to do something useful, or you're going to suffer. Learnt that the hard way.. Bennett i hate you so much...
-
I beat tangrowth with a pachirisu with bide, if you manage to keep him alive, bide will do all the dirty work. You can get pachirisu on the opal bridge, after beating some punks who wanted to throw him in the river, but sometimes a different pokemon which i don't remember is found instead. If not, try with the espurr at the empty house behind the guy who asks for money, Confusion and psywave are really useful. Also, try paralysing it or confusing it, luckily i had pachirisu to paralyse, wingull to confuse, and espurr and braixen to finish him off. Even with all that, it took me a while to finish him off. Just be patient, i'm sure you'll find the way!
-
I actually thought in getting double team and agility in pachirisu, and keeping nuzzle and electro ball. that way, i can get the most damage out of electro ball, and since it has some pretty decent defense stats make it quite harder to kill. What do you say about that?
-
I know ampharos is a better option, but i always used it in gen2 games, so i don't want to use it now the idea is to use pokemons i've never used (except for pelipper, but hey, those things rock hehe)
-
The rotom shouldn't be a problem, save your tangela for it and it won't be difficult.
-
With all that said i'm between magnezone and galvantula, both of them seem awesome but now i can't decide maybe i'll get a magnemite and a joltik and then decide
-
Magnezone sounds quite interesting, where can i find a magnemite? if i'm not mistaken i think shade's gym, but i kind of already went through it and there are no more wild encounters. And that music is creepy as fuck, i'm not going in there again unless i really have to
-
Noted. but i have a question, and please don't viciously rip my throat.. what does STAB stand for? i kind of stopped playing after gen3 because i had a shitty pc and the ds emulator kind of... crashed every time i opened it hehe. i did play some of gen4 but didn't find it as good as the gens before so i dropped it mid game
-
I want to get an electric pokemon, because i have a pachirisu and it kinda sucks Wanted to know if you could reccomend me something, besides manectric/ampharos/electivire/raichu/luxray, because i have already used them all, and this playthrough is with pokemons i have never used, to make it more special Thanks in advance! oh and btw i have 8 badges, have to go beat luna but i'm grinding before because bennett is a pain in the arse
