Lucine squeaked in startlement as she was unceremoniously lifted and carried off in a less-than-comfortable carry. "H-hey, we can't just leave her behind!" She flailed uselessly a bit; this loosened her grip enough that Opal was able to free herself, clicking back together and following along through the air.

"Of course we can. What did you think you were going to do?"

"I was gonna help fight! Or convince her to stop, or something. I don't know, but I was going to be more useful than you."

"You're only useful with me around. Doesn't that make you the useless one?"

". . . Why are you so mean?" Lucine seemed legitimately upset. It wasn't clear whether Opal was actually regretting her words, or had simply gotten the reaction she wanted, but the device fell silent once more.

Jun kept mostly silent on the way out, the strain of attempting high speed parkour while carrying a not entirely helpful child not exactly doing wonders for her ability to snark at people when prompted. It was only when she found herself unable to recognize her surroundings much, that she felt that it was safe enough to lower the child gently, and explain her reasoning. "Look, expecting someone who literally said that the only option for forgiveness is us dying at spear point to fuel their experiments to not try to kill us is probably not a great idea, and I'm not exactly keen on letting a kid fight them either..."

"Overwatch is a peace-keeping organization," Vitor explains to Lucian, "It was originally founded when some of the omnic robots we created as servants and menial laborers were hacked and taken over by these things called God Programs, and used to wage war against humanity.  Overwatch saved the world and got... mostly equal rights for the omnics who didn't go off the deep end, and was disbanded.  With the way things were going downhill before I left, Winston got the band back together so to speak, with new recruits like me.  But meddling from other worlds has been increasing, and... I figured joining up with this group was the best way to help make sure the only threats Overwatch has to deal with are native."

"Ah, that sounds like quite a noble cause," Lucian said in response, immediately wracking his brain in search of something else to say, "I can't claim to have such noble intentions for travelling around the multiverse myself, but if the last world was any indication, there's quite a lot of worlds in need of a bit of meddling, economically speaking." He turned his gaze at the various shops around him, trying to find a conveniently located convenience store, restaurant, or pub around here, "But you know, something tells me that it would probably be a good idea for us to start exploring this one for now, maybe find a shop that can sell something to get that bad taste out of your mouth...."

  3. Sensing a lull of sorts in the fight despite the wave of life sapping crystals blasting in his direction, Atton shouted out yet another rallying cry at the party, hoping to inspire 6D and Mira to maintain a stiff upper lip through the fires and the flame.

That, is naught but a flesh wound on Mira and 6D, healing them for 1d4+Int (15) HP, and curing one ailment.

  4. Navin, Heidrun, Venus

The sound of distant screaming echoes in Navin's ears as he fights back his urge to stand and fight, rightfully so it seemed, as his quick reflexes and strong will worked together to save him from being impaled by the various hooks the corpse vomitted in his general direction.

Venus patiently waited in place, it was almost time for a grand finale after all.

A pulse of green life giving energy energizes the party, healing them for 11 HP, and causing the corpse to jerk and twitch in Heidrun's direction.

The corpse grows in defiance at the party, as it begins to glow with the same violent red light, and prepares to make another attack!.

Solomon's ring briefly glows with a magenta light, before a rapid fire burst of heavy hardcopy tomes smashes into the corpse's frame, very neatly exposing its myriad weaknesses. Solomon uses Slalom on the corpse, burning 4 story tokens to apply a total of 16 Slalom stacks.

The corpse's milky gaze drifts back to the hero clad in white, that a slight hint of fear returning to Navin's mind once more....maybe this time he should just try to shut it up for good?. (Stun or take boosted damage).

    Solomon's Loadout

    Spoiler

    Level: 5

    HP: 64/70

    Init: +1

    Stats:

    Constitution: 8

    Dexterity: 1

    Intelligence: 12

    Strength: 6

    Synergy: 8

    Perks:
Reference Librarian: +1 INT Per Level
Twisted Tales: Every time Solomon inflicts a debuff or instance of DoT he gains one "Story Token", that he can use to activate a secondary effect present in his actions by spending the specified amount of tokens, any additional stack or instance of debuffs granted with the use of story tokens do not give Story Tokens.
Lost in the Stacks:  Each and every debuff or ailment Solomon inflicts counts as a separate and unique instance, allowing him to inflict multiple stacking instances of the same debuff and making them harder to remove.

    Actions:
(Level 1) Slalom: Solomon spontaneously creates a series of obstacles using the many vaguely magical books he has at his disposal to try and delay,
harrass and otherwise inconvenience his enemies. This action allows him to distribute a total of four 'Slalom' stacks to up to four targets, causing them to take 1 more point of damage for every stack that is affecting them. This action has a two round round cooldown.
Token Backed effect: Solomon can choose to spend 4 tokens to be able to distribute a total of [Current amount]*1.5 Slalom stacks instead.
Level 2: Solomon can now distribute a total of 6 'Slalom' stacks to up to four targets.

Level 2: Solomon can now distribute a total of 8 'Slalom' stacks to up to four targets. (I honestly have no idea how to increase this or otherwise improve the action)
    (4 AP)

(Level 1) A Vision of Impending Doom: Solomon takes out his ring and blasts a single target with a ray of energy, causing them to periodically see a mental image of them being smashed into the ground by a progressively larger stack books as a distant voice attempts to goad them into performing a certain action. This vision becomes a reality if they perform the specified action, dealing 2d4 psychic damage, with an additional 1d4 damage being added for every round that passes without the effect being triggered. Only one character can be affected by this debuff at a time.
Token Backed effect: Solomon can choose to spend two tokens to increase the die size by 1 step.
Level 2: This action now deals 2d6 psychic damage, with an additional 1d6 being added for every round that passes without the effect being triggered.
    (3 AP)

    (Level 1) Narrative Causality:
"It is ready because the story says it is ready dammit"
Solomon draws harm to a chosen target by kindly asking his patron to drawn upon some of their power to actively fuck with reality in an attempt to encourage others to cause the target's downfall. This action inflicts Recompense (Allies targeting the victim with a negative action will have 1 less cooldown on that action.) 2 Duration, 3 Cooldown.
(Token Granted Effect): Solomon can choose to spend two tokens to apply an additional 'Bonds' debuff, that causes the next three attacks that hit the target to heal Solomon by 10% of the damage dealt by the attack.
Level 2: Recompense now lets the beneficiaries apply the cooldown reduction on any of their actions.
    (3 AP)

(Level 1) Predestination: Solomon casts a spell on himself to seemingly grant him the ability to see in the future and discern the weak points present in his opponent before he fires several books in their direction, dealing 1d6+Int damage to them.
Token Backed Effect: Solomon can choose to spend two tokens to remove all debuffs currently affecting the target and add an additional d6 of damage dealt by the attack for every stack or instance of debuff that is removed from the target.
Level 2: Adds half of Solomon's synergy to the damage.

Level 3: Increases the dice  usedfor the token backed effect and regular damage to d8s
Current formula: 1d8+Int+Syn/2 (+1d8 for each stack and instance of debuff removed from the target if two tokens are used)
    (4 AP)

(Level 1) Running Mockumentary: Solomon throws a book charged with magical energy at whatever passes for the target's head, causing it to bounce off and allow them to sneak in a glance into a tiny fragment of a randomly chosen page that seemingly displays the circumstances surrounding their impending doom, and presumably causing them to notice Solomon's presence. He then opens his mouth and claims that act has allowed him to establish a link to the target's mind, just before he starts to insult their intelligence. The sheer confusion and annoyance caused by Solomon consistently distracting them in combat causes the damage they deal to be reduced by the difference between their intelligence and Solomon's intelligence for three rounds. This action has a three round cooldown.

Token Backed effect: Solomon can spend two tokens to treat the target's intelligence as being halved for the purpose of determining how much their damage is reduced.
Level 2: Solomon's intelligence is treated as being +3 higher than it actually is by this action.
    (3 AP)

    Inventory:
Ring of Resistance: A seemingly simple moonsilver band that responds to incoming magic by redirecting it to the ring itself. The user may activate this ring to become immune to direct magical attacks for 1 round. 5 round cooldown. Sufficiently powerful attacks may be enough to overwhelm this immunity.

The Bound Book of Solomon's Curses:
The book can be activated twice per encounter to double the effect of a debuffing action, in exchange for applying the normal-strength debuff to the user.

It also has a small chance to occasionally cast harmless nuisance spells on the user if it feels bored.

  5. Jun lets out a loud sigh after hearing the armored person's response, as she slowly starts to back away from them, "We're honestly here to help, but if violence is the only thing you understand then," her hand casually brushing at the fake controls of her suit, her muscles tensing in anticipation as she prepared to...."I guess we'll just have to leave and find someone else to speak to!," make her escape, apparently, trying to dart closer to the small child with stubby legs that are probably not great at running.

    Loadout

    HP: 24
    Moves: 11

    Stats: (21/21)

    Essence: 5 (Base 4, +1 from training)
    Constitution: 2
Dexterity: 10 (Base 8, +1 from Merit and +1 from training)
Intelligence: 11 (Base 4, +4 from merit, +3 from training)
    Resistance: 2+6
    Strength: 2
    Synergy: 1
    Perks:
Weirdness Censor: The Ambassador has a Dex*2 chance of dodging an attack by simply causing the attacker to suddenly be overwhelmed by the ambassador's darting movements and increasingly incomprehensible appearance that they just mentally file the Ambassador as somebody else's problem.
Beyond the Veil: Grants the perk backed action "Void of Incomprehensibility".

    Actions:

(Perk Backed) Void of Incomprehensibility: The Ambassador can choose to over charge his personal field of chaos to the point where absolutely anything can be used to distract others enough to trigger mass change blindness and cause him to effectively disappear and become unable to become the target of any single target actions. The Ambassador must make an opposed Dex v Int check to stay in stealth if he has attacked the other participant in the opposed check, or if they had managed to successfully land a blow on Jun anyway. And he takes a malus to the roll that is equal to the other participant in the opposed check's Intelligence for every single success. He can choose to immediately end the stealth effect at will, and this ability can only be used once per encounter.
Level 2: Jun now gains a +3 to the first opposed check to remain hidden

Level 3: This action is now treated as being a First Strike action

Level 4: This action is now usable twice per encounter, but the second time it is used Jun must succeed on an opposed DexvInt check against the enemy closest in the initiative order to the move Jun uses to reactivate this action. Jun rolls twice for his roll and uses the lowest result.

A.G.I.L.E. system: The Ambassador's power armor comes equipped with the ability to climb up walls and "fly" in short bursts when inside a planet with Earthlike gravity, he can choose to temporarily overcharge this system and multiply his Dexterity or Strength stat by 1.2 for two rounds. Three round cooldown.

    Level 2: Two round cooldown

Level 3: The multiplier is now 1.4

Level 4: The multiplier is now 1.6

Level 5: The multiplier is now 1.8

Burning Necrodancy: Now attuned to the Necrodancic arts the user gains a 50% chance to resist any effect that forces them to dance, if they so choose. Certain other hidden effects are also active. This passive is always equipped and doesn't require a slot

Hunt the Hunter Hunting the Hunted: Whenever the user is doing one of the following, they gain +3 to doing so:
Obscuring the user's location from someone who is trying to avoid the user
Learning the location of someone who is trying to find the user
Hiding from someone while approaching someone who isn't trying to detect the user
and Detecting someone approaching who isn't trying to hide from the user

No other circumstances trigger this bonus.

    (Passive) Ace Ambassador
The user may choose to, while attempting diplomacy, replace random rolls with Visual Novel style Multiple Choice Dialogue Options based on Jun and the Target, with some options being locked due to either information or a quality Jun lacks, or due to a failed roll against a stat.

Listen Up: Jun gains the ability to mentally communicate with a single person using focused psionic energy.  That person is thrown directly upward with a pressure equal to four times earth's gravity until the communication session ends, if they fail to resist it.

    Items:

    Needle of Agony:
Deals 4d6+[Dex] dark damage to a single target.  The target suffers 1/4 the damage dealt in stacks of “Agony”.  If the number of Agony stacks they posses exceeds their current HP they become incapacitated/die.  Agony stacks are cleared from active targets at the end of each round.
Level 2(craft): Once per combat as a free action the user may fire a bolt of dark energy that deals 2d6 points of dark damage and inflicts half as many Agony stacks.
Level 3(craft): The user can as an action create a dark cloud of mist that is roughly 6x6x6 and inflicts 2d6 Agony stacks to any enemies that passes through it, cooldown = 5.

Demon Mantel Defense System: A durable suit of power armor heavily modified by Jun and corrupted by demonic energies of Korax.
The user gains 5 Res and takes 5% less damage from Divine sources.
This item has one slot for specially designed modules.

(Slotted into the Demon Mantel Defense System) Meteorite Shield Core: a softly glowing powercore made of Meteorite metal and Silver, projects a powerful shield. Must be socketed into armor with module slots. Activates upon being struck by a projectile, reduces the damage taken from projectiles by 50% for one round then goes on cooldown for one round. +1 Res.

"Vitor Santos-Schultz," The magus shakes the offered hand, "Overwatch combat engineer.  And, uh, no, that company name doesn't ring any bells.  Which considering what a lotta the big names in industry back home are hip deep in ain't necessarily a bad thing."

Lucian shook Vitor's hand firmly for a moment, his steely blue eyes staring directly into theirs as he said, "I am not surprised, I don't expect every world to have its own Kugelschiemede, not yet at the least." An awkward silence filled the air for a couple of moments, as Lucian wracked his brain in search of anything he knew about an 'overwatch', only to give up after he found nothing more pertinent than the definitions of the word, "I must confess to have never heard of a military organization called 'Overwatch' as well, but I guess that's just the multiverse for you."

  7. Jun's eyes quickly darted back and forth from the terrified looking lizard and the very pissed off sounding person in full plate, her mind scrambling in search of something, anything to say or do next to try and buy the others enough time to escape, eventually settling on an honestly not that great sounding, "Look, can't we just talk this out? We're really sorry for just barging in like this, and I'm sure that there's something we could do to make this up to the two of you.."

    >Reason.

Friedhold decides to circle around the perimeter and get a better look at things.

Skittering around the perimeter, Friedhold spots a solid metal garage door on the squat building furthest from the tower, which neatly explains why he couldn't see any vehicles parked out in the open, and what that building was for in the first place. Although really, it's still kind of strange that they didn't put a rear entrance in there, maybe having a convenient fire escape ranked lower than having marginally more security on their list of priorities? Whatever, it's obviously linked to the other building anyway.

Speaking of the other building, Friedhold could see a pair of security cameras hanging from each of it's four corners now, along with an additional camera pointing directly at the cell tower's machinery, and one just above what seems to be a metal sliding door. A pair of small windows is placed on the left and right of the door, mounted high enough to make it difficult for the sister to crawl to, but not too high for him to lift her up if he wanted to, he guesses that they're a form of emergency ventilation, meant to pop open if the audible whirr of the fans pumping air into and out of the building suddenly stops.

No one's coming out of the building yet it seems, which is a shame, he can't quite spot any other security systems from here, but it's kind of obvious that opening the door would raise some alarm, especially since the front door seemed heavy enough to take a fair bit of force to pop open, and the markings on the rear door seemed to indicate it as a fire exit, with all the warnings opening it would entail...

  9. "Oooh, those are going to be fun to work on after this~," Dr. Ishi said in a slightly offputting tone, as she hung back behind her petro-bot to wind herself, and her hyperion transmurdera up.

Dr. Ishi spins her Transmurdera's rubberband motor to reduce it's miss chance by 40% and increase it's damage by +8.

    Equipment:

The Iron Mask: A porcelain white mask which is said to be anything and everything from a neural function enhancing device, a signal booster allowing one with the proper access codes to take control of the robot that wears this mask, and many other functions. What's known is that it serves as the control device for her suit of nanobot based power armor and the augmented reality monitor for her all white backpack computer/CNC Miller and assembly tool, and that it triggers a dramatic transformation when worn by a certain kind of person.
Grants +2 to Doctor Ishi’s Intelligence when equipped.

Pawādoāmā: Initially intended to be a carbon copy of the Hybrid Assistive Limb exoskeleton used to make walking less of a chore; a quick break to watch a super sentai show led to it becoming an elaborate non self replicating nanobot based set of transforming clothing that harden in response to physical trauma and automatically form a set of supports to allow her to transcend her previous physical limitations.
Grants a +1 bonus to Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity when equipped, takes two slots to equip.

    Hyperion Transmurdera:
Deals 1d4+[Dex] damage with 60% miss chance, +4 damage and -20% miss chance for each consecutive use(miss chance reduction caps at 60%).

Level 2(craft): The first time this weapon is used instead of firing the user may spin up the motor, this counts as two consecutive uses instead of one.  If the weapon stacks 6 or more consecutive uses the rubber band has a 50% chance to break and need to be replaced with another.

Mashinshinajī: When using robotic or electronic equipment, the effectiveness of a single piece of equipment is boosted by 2, or by [Gm fiat] if No numerical values exist for that piece of equipment. This action does not take a slot.

Dieselpunk Freeze-bot: A rough and crude robot that functions on an extracted brain and a steady stream of petroleum fuel. When equipped it enters combat alongside Hirata and takes actions after her init at her direction.
    HP: 20
    Fuel Tank: 5/5

Repair: Consumes fuel and scrap metal to repair lost HP, costs 1 unit of fuel.

Refuel: Extracts liquid petroleum fuel or bio-diesel from a nearby accessibly source.

Manuver: Change positions and dodge the next attack that would hit it before its next turn, costs 1 unit of fuel.

Freeze: Fires a ray of freezing energy at a target that deals 2d6+4 Cold damage and half as much init damage, costs 2 fuel.

  10. Slowly shifting her gaze to the foot currently stuck in the wall, Jun carefully considered her options going forward, and simply settled on the technically true, if honestly ridiculous sounding, "We mean you no harm, the door was just unlocked and one of our friends thought it would be cool to see what 'foul experiments' this place was up to."

    >We mean you no harm

Keep using Ace Ambassador, and try to trigger Theorywork and Diplomatic experience.

    Spoiler

Theorywork: Jun calls upon over five decades of hands on experience and training in the diplomatic arts to better read people and figure out what their next action will be. As a passive diplomatic action, roll a hidden intelligence vs  Essence or Intelligence check against the person you are interacting with to see how accurate your prediction of what their next action is will be.
Level 2: Jun can now use her psionic powers to subtly enhance her diplomatic abilities, for every successful roll made with this action, add a stacking +1 bonus to diplomacy rolls up to a maximum of +3.

(Trick) Level 3: When dancing a waltz with someone, this ability's cap is increased to a maximum of +6

Diplomatic Experience: Jun can call on her decades of work experience and her studies on human and alien psychology and sociology to make reasonably accurate guesses about why the person she is speaking to reacted to her words the way they did. This effectively allows her to gain often vague and not necessarily reliable information about the motivations behind a certain action that is made in response to something she said.

Junior slowly shook his head in response, a slight smile forming on his lips for a moment as he obviously found some amusement in Alexandria's response, "They used it to spray bugs Alexandria. Giant man eating magic bugs. It's the only thing that works apparently."

  12. "Ah yes, I am 'part of the crew' now, it seems," the businessman said as he glanced at the handkerchief he would probably have to throw away soon. "I tagged along with a group apprehending super powered criminals in 'Brockton Bay' was it? It was quite an adventure." He slowly extended a hand towards Vitor once the man finished cleaning himself up, quite obviously offering him a handshake, "Let me introduce myself, my name is Lucian Stahl, CBO of Kugelschmiede, I don't expect you to have heard of us before, we're still working on expanding into other...localities shall we say."

  13. Quickly realizing that the party had effectively broken into someone's house, even if it was for a very good reason, Jun slowly walks over to the front door and essentialy, broadcasts her position to nearby people using walkie thinkie, sending an otherwise discreet series of mental messagse to Ignia that said, "Wait no! I think they're the guy who owns the lab we broke into, it might be better to talk this out, we're technically be in the wrong here," while wracking her own brain to try and puzzle out a way to resolve this situation as peacefully as she could manage.

Jun basically activates Ace Ambassador again and uses Walkie Thinkie to talk to Ignia

    Spoiler

    (Passive) Ace Ambassador
The user may choose to, while attempting diplomacy, replace random rolls with Visual Novel style Multiple Choice Dialogue Options based on Jun and the Target, with some options being locked due to either information or a quality Jun lacks, or due to a failed roll against a stat.

Walky-Thinkie: The user can now announce their location to everyone nearby, before communicating with someone mentally, either receiving vague answers from someone or sending over full thoughts, but not both at the same time.

  14. A respectable looking businessman slowly picks himself up from the ground, having arrived far later than everyone else it seemed, he took a look at his surroundings as he smoothed out his black three piece suit, and adjusts his red tie a little. He let out a sigh at the sorry state of his surroundings, and raises an eyebrow at the man puking his guts out in a nearby can, briefly wondering if he had found himself at some medieval slum tonight. He pondered his options for a moment, glancing at the straightforward, if unimaginatively named stores nearby, before he settled on performing a bit of social outreach for now, pulling out a handkerchief with his right hand to offer it to the vomiting man, "Rough night?."

  15. Letting out an exasperated sigh as he waits and waits and waits for the heroes to show up to help his allies directly without any of them actually showing up yet, Alan shrugs and ties his Doombot's video and audio feed to his commlink, and orders it to stand in a non menacing manner and ping him if it sees anyone approaching the vehicle, leaving a commlink behind for him to talk through if his Doombot doesn't have voice synthetizers or a speaker for some reason. As for the man himself? Well, Alan's going off to the nearest electronics supply store with whatever cash he manages to scrounge up to see if he can't just buy and make a non Doombot powered computer to access the internet with, or you know, plug his deck into a library computer, literally copy the entire OS and run it on a virtual machine isolated from the rest of his systems, and tries to into 2010s era Internet.

  16. Jun begins to gather parts from around the lab to assemble a makeshift phone of sorts with, there didn't seem to be all that much to do here by this point anyway, other than wait for whoever was running this lab to return.

  17. The knight lets out a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment, and leaning against his hand.

"Well that's wonderful...I guess we can't get a clear answer out of you until all of this blows over is there?." He waves his hand at Rein, indicating that he wasn't actually expecting an answer, before he moves in to pick up one of the bowls, and shovel some piping hot stew inside of it.

"Fine, I Davor Ionna D'ambrosio, swear to accompany you on your quest....si-la-Rein, as a proper knight would never refuse to aid of such a noble cause, and I came dressed as one," he took a spoonful of the stew up to his mouth, blowing gently on it before he took a sip, and ran the hot liquid on his tongue, letting out an approving sigh as it settled into his empty stomach. "Aah, best stew I've had in recent memory."

Friedhold finds a nice shady looking alley or other area away from sight and activates his Houdini plasmid to become invisible.  Then carefully makes his way towards a secluded section of fence and uses tiny bursts of Disintegration to cut a big enough hole in it to move through.

Walking right behind someone's tent house, Friedhold activates his Houdini plasmid, and confidently walks up to the fenced off gate before him to casually snip a Friedhold sized hole through the fence, and went right on through. There would likely be someone heading off to investigate the damage sooner or later, but well, he was invisible, so that should help a fair bit. He stopped to consider his actions as he waited for the little sister to follow him through the hole he made.

For one thing, he could skirt around the perimeter first, and get a better idea of what defenses he'd have to look forward to, and there was that building he couldn't make out the purpose of from this side. There's also the option to make a beeline directly towards the tower itself, sure there were probably controls for this thing if he wanted to safely switch it off, but he knew for a fact that most electronics generally ceased to function when some dick comes along to snip off cables and melt gaping holes in the circuitry. He could also go for the building placed right beside the tower, go through the rear entrance he can spy from here, and see if he can't just....find an off button to jam in place.

No matter what he chooses, there's always the chance that he'd bump into a security guard or two, but again, even if they could see him, anything that can cut through metal can cut through a person well enough, and people tend to find it hard to scream without a throat...

  19. Navin, Venus, and Heidrun

Holding back his almost all consuming hatred at the existence of giant hookers in this dark and depraved world, Navin takes a moment to drink his Cherry flavored bottle of red potion, filling him with the renewed strength and vigor that he'd need to tear that hooker's ass up!. Navin is healed for 14 points of health.

Mini Meathooks 1 to 4 seek out their targets, slashing away at the entire party it seems! Dealing 6, 8, 7, and 11 slashing damage to Navin, Venus, Solomon, and Heidrun!.

Brandishing his weapon once more, Venus flourishes his gun at the large corpse spirit, and opens fire, his well placed shot detonating the explosive he had mounted on the beast earlier, causing it to burst open in a purple shower of surprisingly painful petals, dealing 105 points of damage to the beast, and shattering the remaining hooks with 52 points of damage each!.

Life sharing contract ended with Solomon, Venus and Navin are my new meatshields now. Heidrun applies Binda on herself, Venus, and Navin.

The Giant Hooker suffuses itself with the pain and hatred of uncountable innocents, glowing red from the exertion.

As if his actions were guided by a lazy writer wishing to end a not particularly thrilling combat scene before it overstays it's welcome, Solomon targets the Giant Hooker with a token backed Violent Recompense, hoping that the rest of the party will focus fire on the shiny pinata.

The Giant hooker retches for a bit, causing black bile to run down its mouth as its milky eyes settle on Navin, as he suddenly feels that it might be a great idea to cut and run now, unless he really wants to get hurt. (Stun or take boosted damage)

    Solomon's Loadout

    Spoiler

    Level: 5

    HP: 53/70

    Init: +1

  20. "Fleeing would mean spending more time in this frozen wasteland, I don't know about you but I'd like to go back to the ship soon," Dr. Ishi said, tucking her geiger counter away, while she fell back to a more tactically advantageous position with her diesel punk freeze ray bot.

  21. On 4/23/2020 at 11:42 PM, DragonRage said:

“I did not think they were particularly well informed, as I said,” Alexandria considers pointing out that she is in no way American, but decides not to bother. If Junior wants to make that assumption, she’ll let him to help their cover. “So.  If the bioweapon wasn’t stolen for use in a terrorist action, what did you intend to use it for?”

"In truth Alexandria, the revolution isn't doing so well, the corporate dogs are growing restless once more, and we fear that once that crisis in Boston blows over, the corporate courts will simply march hand in hand with the Allied German scum once more to end our glorious Flux State once and for all," Junior said with a weary tone, his hands fumbling a little with his jacket to put the flask back where it belonged. "I believe they will say that they brought peace and justice to the people of Berlin once it is over, as a nice little joke to tell at our eulogy."

He sighs, briefly remembering why he went to the bar in the first place, "Our revolution needs allies if we are to survive until the end of the year, and I have found one who has promised to back us in exchange for dealing with the occasional thorn in their side, and the bioweapon just so happens to be the right tool for extracting this particular thorn." He takes a deep breath, his impassive face twitching a little before he asks, "Tell me, did your handlers ever say what the bioweapon was used for?."

(Perk Backed) Never Give Up!: “Richard stands upon the highest platform he could find, and raises his silver sword in such a way that catches the light, golden wings appear and Richard appears to be wearing a golden horned helmet for just a few moments, this causes anyone watching to suddenly feel inspired”

Entrenchment: Atton orders some of his squad to quickly dig an entrenched position...complete with a bunch of sandbags to form a chest high wall.
Current: Create a trench large enough for two allies.
Level 1: An ally can choose to enter this trench as a free action, causing them to gain a 30% damage reduction against ranged attacks until they perform a non ranged action.
Level 2: The entrenchment is now large enough for two allies.
(Alternatively just a 30% damage reduction against ranged attacks that lasts until the target use a non ranged action.)

Forward March!: “Richard attempts to convince a friendly target that they can, and will move faster than they usually would by using a short speech”
Current: Increase the Init of two targets by [Int]/2.
Level 1: Increase the Init of one target by [Int]/2.

That, is naught but a flesh wound: “Richard converses at length about how the friendly target can power through an injury that is affecting them”
Current: Restore 1d4+[Int] HP to one target and cure one ailment.
Level 1: Restore 1d4+[Int] HP to one target.
Level 2: Now also cures one ailment.
Level 3: Increase the number of affected targets by one.

Banner of the 10th Regiment: A rather minimalistic banner depicting a symbol of a golden winged white cross and the words ‘10th Regiment’ written in stark white placed on a dark blue background that is held aloft on a sturdy metal pole. The sight of the banner flying freely (and a constant stream of motivational sayings) motivates Atton and his crew to move and act even faster.
    Current: +6 Init
Level 1: Boost Init by 3 points.
Level 2: Init boost improved to +6.
Level 3: A megaphone attached to the top of the banner grants Atton an additional +3 boost to initiative....if he spends a turn to activate it that is, as he decided to place the mouthpiece at the top of the banner for some inexplicable reason.

Symbol of Lumabella x1 - A holy item in the shape of a stylized bow in a beam of sunlight. Can be activated as a free action once per battle to cause the user's ally-targeting actions to remove a single debuff from allies for the round. If said action already removes debuffs, it will instead heal them by user SYN/2.

    Half-Track's actions:
.50 Cal: Atton orders the squad’s gunner to man the M2 Browning and open fire on the enemy’s position.
Level 1: Deals 2d6+[Dex] damage to one target or 1d6+[Dex]/2 to three targets, only usable when equipped by the Half-track or Atton is in a stationary defensive position (Such as the one created by his Entrenchment action), one round cooldown.

    Armor Plating:
Current: +5 DR vs Piercing, Slashing, & Bludgeoning damage.
Level 1: Reduce incoming Piercing, Slashing, and Bludgeoning damage by 3 points, reduce user’s Init by 7-[Str], only usable by vehicles.
Level 2: Increase damage reduction by one point.
Craft Level 3: Synthetic adamantium has been alloyed with the pot metal armor of the Half track, allowing it to absorb kinetic energy and convert it to heat. Increases damage reduction and initiative reduction by 1.

Combat Engineer: Specialist James Doherty is an almost constantly overworked Scottish man who prides himself in his ability to allow the squad’s M9 Half Track take a bigger load of punishment than it is used to without falling apart.
Current: 4 points of repair regen each round.
Level 1: Grants 3 repair healing to the user at the start of each round while equipped.
Level 2: +1 Regen each round.

Gunner: Private Jesus Kaltenbrunner is a textbook example of how not all Germans who fought in world war 2 were evil, or misled by patriotism and promises of racial superiority into fighting for the Axis forces, as some of them were Jewish, German expatriates, immigrants, or just decided that the Axis forces could go stuff themselves. Rather unfortunately he is also a terrible shot with any non fully automatic weapon...but he is improving somewhat.
Level 1: Increase damage dealt with ranged weapons by 3.

More loud shouting could be heard coming from the halftrack as it drove evasively throughout the battlefield, as Atton worked himself into a religious fervor.

Atton uses Battle Plans to buff Perlita and Myra's stat of choice by his [LVL] for two rounds, also reducing a cooldown of the target's choice by 1 round.
