      They own Suikoden too. One of my favorite jrpg series. They killed that series a while ago. Silent Hill is also a noteworthy one too. They tried reviving that one a few years back but backed out on it which angered a lot of fans.

      and this is why Konami should just sell their franchise rights to developers who can do shit with them.

      That was Konami, wasn't it? I just did a quick search on google to pull up what they owned, and Silent Hill wasn't there.

       

      It sucks that the IPs are being held hostage by game companies, but maybe it will be like Metroid, which was assumed dead but then came back after some spiritual sequels like Axiom Verge.  And isn't like Might Number Nine.
