    Honestly, the Wii U is cool, but buying plastic toys to get the full experience doesn't really appeal to me.

      I have most of the Smash Amiibos, and they don't contribute that much. They are more costumes than anything.

      The only games I used them on were Yoshi and Mario Kart. The only game that has legit content with them are the Intelligent Studio games where you unlock Marth, Ike, Robin, and Lucina as allies in Code Name Steam and FE: Fates.

      And those are 3DS games. I get the feeling that they will function like Memory Cards for Pokken.
