Hi!
After starting the game on Intense but still allowing items to be used in battle and for shift mode, I decided to switch to normal mode for a few battles & then back to intense mode. However, now I am back in intense mode & locked out of using items in battle and the mode is set. Is there any way to fix this myself in the game? I will attach my save file and if anyone can troubleshoot outside of the game, I would be incredibly grateful! Thanks so much.

I just finished the first 2 chapters and it took me around 3 and a half hours of gameplay so it's definitely longer than I expected. The game did crash on me after I got the Forretress but I went back again and got through it the second time. The only differences were that I got the work Pokemon this time and gave the Forretress a nickname. Although it being my second time doing it might have had some impact as well.
Anyway I'll call it quits for today but I am very much enjoying the story so far. The wild encounter rate is absolutely insane though and I don't have nearly enough max repels to deal with this. It's also a bit annoying how I went through all that trouble to kill the OP Nihilego and it changes basically nothing (at least not up to this point) but that's more of a nitpick than anything. Can't wait to continue playing tomorrow.
SpoilerI have a feeling that killing Nihilego is what unlocks the true ending, I'll be upset if that's the case though because it'll mean I won't get it :'(

That's strange. I think the generator room is accessible if you take the same path you did during that side quest. In fact, I think it's where Dufaux pulled off that switcheroo stunt.
I completed the quest, and it's not like I can redo the quest to regain access to the room. I'm going to assume it's a bug then.

Hey guys! I'm trying to evolve my Magneton, and the Pokemon Location Guide says I have to level it up in the Generator Room, which is apparently accessible after completing the help request. I completed the request, but there's an NPC blocking the entrance afterwards. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

After completing the last puzzle and being directed outside of the tower, just walk down. You're not really in the desert...

I interacted with the mirages a few times, traveled all the way up to the Northeast corner, and the mirage tower was there.

True Ending

After completing the game, I am itching to know what exactly the "true ending" is. There are six actions/choices that must be taken/made along the Reshiram route to unlock a difference in the Lin end fight, this I know, but is this really the true ending? iirc, I read somewhere that this might not be. Has anyone achieved the true ending? If so, what did you do aside from the six requirements to unlock it? Is the true ending just fulfilling the six requirements of the Reshiram route? Would love to create a space for this discourse to compare notes and theories. :-)
