    Venusaur or Amoonguss for Redemtion League ? Venusaur can be nice in Sun, but Amoonguss has Spore and Regenerator.

      Amoonguss is considered Tier1 material for smogon's OU doubles though.

      Amoonguss tends to be better since it has Regenerator for Singles and Spore for control in Doubles and Triples. And since there's no Mega Evoluton, Venusaur is not all that much better stat-wise.

      I think I backwards that... I mean to say that Venu is great in singles and if you use Sun it has great synergy there. However Amoonguss in singles has low impact. In Doubles it's a great support mon, but you can;t really easily skew it towards both being good for Double and good for singles. You have to stretch it out a bit far imo.
