    a sonic mania but for pokemon would sound pretty cool right about now.

    Fans make better fucking games then GF does nowadays.

     

    Also, am I the only one who feels like the name "Dynamaxing" is just stupid?
    Like, for the theme of the game, GF could have atleast called it a promotion or something along those lines, because that atleast falls in line with the theme of the game (like how you promote pawns in chess).

    Also honestly I feel like this is going to be awful for battling. Like I don't feel like anything good is coming from this from the way GF described it cause they made it sound like a mechanic with very little to no counterplay, but maybe there's more restrictions to Dynamaxing that GF isn't telling us.

    edit: I actually didn't expect Terra to rated so highly for so many people tbh. I've always found her to be one of the easiest gyms in the game. Her only problem was that quagsire that was just hard to kill but it didn't actually do anything so...

    I actually dislike the Tanzan Mountain puzzles with the warps a lot. Granted you can still brute force it but its still somewhat annoying.

    I kinda just hate that whole part of the game in general though.


    I don't really want to do the Magic Square puzzle ever again also tbh finding that thing was a puzzle all on its own.

    I also spent a few hours running around Tanzan Mountain looking for the oasises and that shit was annoying too. Thats not really a puzzle though.

    "as the field effects seem to serve as a way to turn rng against the player." There are moves that can change the field. Rain + Sun = Rainbow Field. OR, and hear me out now, you can USE THE FIELD EFFECT, TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. Mindblowing conscept, ikr. But you're allowed to turn the rng against whoever ur facing as well. It's not like these are one-sided game mechanics that you can't take advantage of, you're allowed and encouraged to take full advantage of the field.

    "The game is designed in a system of trail and error" This person probably limited themselves in what mons they wanted to use, since there's nothing stopping you from allowing yourself to have mons on reserve. Granted, it's probably trial and error on the first run, but once you're prepared and understand what you're facing, you can go into the battle not blind and having some kind of strategy.
