Alright. I'm making two fan Pokemon games. And with them, I'm creating Field Effects. Here is my favorite one:
Ancient Pyramid Field
General Effects
Ghost -Type moves increase in base power by x2
Ground -Type Moves increase in base power by x1.5
Fire -Type moves decrease in base power by 0.5
Water - Type moves decrease in base power by 0.5
Abilities Affected
Tough Claws's boost is increased to x1.5
Guts and Berserk are automically activated
Run Away, Wimp Out and Emergency Exit don't activate
Comatose does not work
Intimidate lowers opponent's Special Defense by 2 stages, but its other effects do not take place
Moves Affected
These Moves increase in power by x2 (A blast from the past!)
- Shadow Force
- Phantom Force
- Fly
- Bounce
- Dig
- Dive
- Future Sight
- Earthquake
- Shadow Ball
- Bite
- Crunch
- Brick Break
These Moves increase in power by x1.5 (The spiritual energy is great!)
- Judgement
- Dragon Rush
- Outrage
- Leaf Blade
Moves that will always fail
- Sing
- Sing
- Sleep Powder
- Hypnosis
- Lovely Kiss
- Spore
- Yawn
- Rest
- Grass Whistle
- Thunder Wave
- Scald
- Freeze-Dry
- Guillotine
- Sheer Cold
Moves that have amplified stat changes
- Swords Dance
- Focus Energy
- Howl
- Shell Smash
- Noble Roar
- Dragon Dance
Moves that no longer need recharge turn (May you strike faster!)

Other changes
- Water, Fire and Grass Pledges activate thier secondary effects immediatety after using them
Transitions to other Field Effects
There is no way to transition the field
An ancient pyramid field and it does nothing with the Mummy ability? You could have made it trigger on switch in or apply a stat change or something, but otherwise, interesting Field effect

ah, im not sure why thats started happening to you then, that's really odd, you could try a backup save file but depending on when ya last saved it might be a lot of progress loss, i dunno if ya deleted any files from the game folders either that may be causing that

Is there any way to skip this final part? Like im getting so desperate at this point that if I could, I would go into the files and remove the thing that chases me, it is just literally impossible for me to do this within a reasonable timeframe, and I just want to continue with the game.You mean the Dusknoir chase or is it that other thing? regardless of which it is, unless you plan to attach your save here and ask someone to solve it for you, you simply need to practice and do your best, keep trying you will do it eventually i know the chases took me a few tries.

You can't breed Poipole but simply registering it in your dex will let you skip all the 731 pokemon needed to get your own one. All the rewards are given to you immediately but the NPC does feel a little down.

you can shortcut the mission by borrowing a poipole to get it's data, it makes the quest play out different but also may make you feel bad for the disappointed NPC, still ya get all the rewards and your own Poipole from her so.

I deleted the file that I launched reborn from, clearing the mods. I then re-extracted the downloaded file, and still got the errors. I had one mod, of which I didn't change anything relating to it.
I plan on doing that from now on. I'm doing a test run for my story I'm writing, I don't want to go through all the way to Ciel for the third time now.
unfortunate that it didnt seem to work, hopefully it's the last time you see this issue

i also would recommend creating copies of your backups and keeping them somewhere like on a USB or cloud so they are seperate from the save folder and less likely to experience the same corruption if it ever reoccurs

Oh I don't like the look of thisthats rather unfortunate, from what i understand of these types of errors, they normally result from something in the code being wrong so it isnt sure what to make of it, but thats normally a programming error so when it occurs on normally perfectly fine files you get this.
i dunno if you was playing with mods or debug at all and modified anything but corruption is a risk modded or not, dunno why it happens, you may need to start over, however thats the final resort option, first would be test absolutely every backup to see if it ends somewhere, also have you changed anything about the game since before this started? added a mod, messed with debug or had someone do anything like that? you might also try re-downloading reborn and seeing if the game is the problem and not the saves though unlikely to resolve it -

Upon starting Reborn, I am greeted with a slew of errors, However, I am able to clear those errors, Reborn starts up, then comes the splash screen. After the splash screen, where the file select screen should appear, and set of errors pop up. After clearing the final error, the game then proceeds to close.
Anyone? Help?
end of file and incompatible marshal file i usually see on corrupted save files, have you tried loading an older save or many as the current one may be corrupted causing these errors

well ya might like pokemon who can use Sonic Boom and Tri Attack because Sonic boom's damage becomes 140HP and Tri Attack not only has it's effect chance doubled but has boosted power in the field
