  1. "To the EXTREME!!" Dominic ran out of the last classroom for the day, throwing jabs and other punches in random combinations, doing this until he got outside of the school. The day was extremely sunny, so Dominic's spirit flared up even more, taking the sunshine as a good sign of new discoveries. "Alright.. No need for further guesses. Today, we'll make some headway toward this mystery for sure!" On the subject of his newly taken up task, Dominic re-read Setsuna's message, and decided to head for Heartland Square and do a small bit of searching. Reaching into his jacket pocket, Dominic pulled out a piece of hard candy at the end of a stick, unwrapping it before eating. As he walked, Dominic recalled what the teacher had said to them before they left, and the more he remembered the conversation, he realized.. ".. I forgot about the janitor!" Dominic sighed as he slammed the side of his head with his hand and trudged along, "I hope Setsuna remembered.." With an exhale he dismissed his mistake, and Dominic started to run toward Heartland Square to get this investigation somewhat started.
  2. (To Anna/Setsuna.) Dominic took Setsuna's D-Pad, in exchange for his, which was for the most part standard, spare the extended edges that spanned out in a yellow flame-like pattern, the color slowly turning orange more toward the center. He was in the midst of adding his information into the D-Pad when the new teacher showed up, upon meeting eyes, he experienced a strange feeling, of familiarity, as if he knew her extremely well, and remembered what Setsuna talked about regarding her earlier, "There certainly is something strange.." He said quietly under his breath before exhaling Putting in the last bit of information in Setsuna's D-Pad, he set it down next to her, and turned to the teacher once more, and as soon as he did, he felt his next words were toward a great acquaintance, "For whatever reason, I cannot break that rumor out of my mind, try as I might. Mystery is one extreme enemy I must defeat." Throwing his shoulder up to push his bag up before heading off soon, he retreated into his own thoughts, which for him was new, but in the case of this person who stood before him, something was off, "Could these be the feelings Setsuna was talking about.. Just who is our teacher.."
  3. (To Setsuna.) Dominic grinned widely at her offer and put his hands on the table to push himself upright, "Hah! That's more like it! We'll figure out what exactly is going on with this situation to the extreme!" Putting on his jacket, and pushing his rolled up sleeves up a bit, he threw a few jabs at the air, ending with a look of determination, his spirit burned with the feeling of having to find out the unknown. "I can't stand mystery myself, so something like this has to be investigated further!." Adopting a casual stance, Dominic grabbed his bag and swung it around his shoulder before continuing, "And we might confirm the rumor about the illegal duels." At the thought of finally unveiling this tragic mystery, Dominic's spirit fired up, "While some might dismiss that rumor, I cannot shake it from my mind. These 'Illegal duels' must have something to do with it. I can extremely feel it!"
  4. Dominic accepted the book from Setsuna, but before he read, he turned to the two who had the desire to fight, and smiled with an excited grin, "Young man! If you fight, fight to the extreme! No match is worth watching if there isn't passion in the fight!" Dominic sat down, with his arms crossed still grinning, but finally he started to read, and a few seconds in, he looked at it with a puzzled expression, and scratched his head the more he continued, "This is extremely confusing.." The more he read, he got slightly more interested when a fight suddenly happened, and he voiced bits of his thoughts aloud as he continued to read, "Only a coward would fight with a weapon against an unarmed opponent! Go! Use your fists to the extreme!" Going back into deep reading, Dominic cycled through multiple expressions during his silent read. Finally, he finished, and he ended with the same confused expression when he started, and slid the book back to Setsuna with a mild exhale, "Quite the read there.." He said with a quick laugh as he turned back to his lunch. "From only a few pages I became interested, even when I couldn't understand." Taking a few more bites, he looked around as he chewed, and remembered what she said about few visitors, and noted the people who came to fight, and he himself as well. "Do you usually have visitors like these?" He said as he waved his hand toward the general area of the two duelists. "Or are duels in the garden a standard thing."
  5. Dominic thought about what she said, and nodded in agreement, "It certainly makes sense, and if our new teacher has any part behind this, I'll certainly try and find out." Dominic started in on eating with something small, a single rice ball neatly placed with others, and took a small bite to finish quickly and continue, "But perhaps it really is too much of a mystery. For now, anyway." Dominic took another bite, and put it down for a drink before continuing, "But this is far too intriguing to just wait out!" Dominic slammed his hand on the table, and then pointed it forward dramatically with a huge grin, "I say we continue this mystery ourselves!" Dominic exclaimed proudly, "This is a feeling that cannot simply be ignored!" Finally, he sat back down, leaning his head down on his hand that rested on the table. His grinning expression soon changed into curiosity as he glanced over to the book in the girl's hand, "What are you reading, anyway?"
  6. (To Setsuna.) "I didn't feel like attending the class. At least, not for today." Dominic walked around to the other side of the table, sliding his bag off his shoulder and setting it down next to where he would sit, "I originally came here to just pass the time until lunch, but I got around to thinking about some of the rumors I had overheard on my way over here. I had gotten a feeling that didn't sit right with Mr. Tenjo's death, but I never suspected anything to do with the new teacher. However, this brings another addition to what could be going on.." Dominic lost himself in thought for a brief moment, and his gaze out toward the garden made it seem he pegged the flowers responsible. Snapping out of his thoughts, he looked around before returning attention to the girl, "Anyway..!" Dominic reached into the bag beside him, looking around for his own food to eat, and saw emerge from the clutter in his bag, bringing back the rumor, "Illegal duel.." Pulling his lunch out and setting it aside for now, he turned back to Setsuna to continue, "If I heard it, surely you have been told the "illegal duel" rumor, yeah? Even I, a newer duelist, knows that's not possible. .. Right? This game couldn't be that intense.."
  7. (To Setsuna.) After hearing of Mr. Tenjo's demise, Dominic couldn't bring himself to attend the class, for once he didn't have the spirit for something. He found his way to the garden, spending his free time sharpening his punches, as well as the deck that he felt couldn't suit him any better. As he gazed at it he remembered a rumor he overheard, "Died due to an illegal duel.. It seems so far fetched, and yet.." Dismissing it for now, he put his deck away and noticed about now it would be time for lunch, so he picked himself and brushed his clothes off. Making his way to the door, he noticed someone made their way out here as well. "Voi! Class over already? You guys weren't too hard on the new teacher, right?" Dominic paused to fix his bag and jacket over his shoulder before continuing, now in a mildly somber tone, "Perhaps I am just over thinking, but this entire situation doesn't feel right. I doubt I am the only one."
  8. That'd be me! So, I'd like to be the second Ice user in this tourney, please!
