POKEMON: LOST RUNES [RECRUITMENT] Greetings, everyone! After having spent hours playing some of the best Pokemon games like Reborn, Rejuvenation and Desolation, I decided to give making my own game a shot. So, I present to you Pokemon: Lost Runes! I need a team to help me with the development, especially the spriting, because I suck at art. So, am looking for dedicated people who might be interested in helping me out. BASIC PLOT (Prototype, just what I thought of so far in a couple of days): You are a young man or woman who's always been interested in being a part of the peace keeping forces there. So, finally when the day of your application comes, you hear that a team (let us call it G, for now) spearheaded by a Mr X has started insurgency all over your region. So, long story short, this gives you a chance to protect your region and take back what's rightfully yours. Now, nobody knows the reason for this sudden insurgency as your region was always very peaceful. So, upon some research you find out that they are looking for some secret runes which could be the key to finding a mystic Golurk (it's kind of different from other Golurks) with which they want to establish world dominance. What's more is that the G consists of a huge underworld organization with intellectual people who are working on Pokemon Manifestation. Creating super pokemon which change based on the battle situation. Creating an ideal world where having strong pokemon is what determines your fate. And each of the G leaders under Mr X has at least one Pokemon like that already. So, instead of battling gyms to earn recognition you battle these guys to earn HMs and other perks which will help you throughout your journey. Now of course, the decisions you take determine how close or how far apart you're getting from the friends you make in your journey. There will be love, there will be debauchery. Its all upto you to decide what you want and in the bigger picture, the fate of the world rests in your hands.. Make or break! ^This is just a basic overview of what I planned with two other dudes. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye, which I cannot unfortunately reveal here at this moment. But it should be interesting (hopefully). And suggestions to improve are definitely welcome. Okay, so I tried the moveset you suggested. Now it's Dradalge's Hydro Pump that's belting Magneton. Will evolving it into a Magnezone help? And about Piloswine.. I was thinking. Wouldn't Piloswine get wiped out instantly by Hydro Pump/Muddy Water and Giga Drain? Okay, so I finally WON! Damn her and her Pokemon for giving me such a hard time! The lineup I used was: Meowstic: level 45 Drapion: level 43 Swanna: level 46 (I used this as a decoy to apply all my cotton candy to the fainted Pokemon since Swanna wouldn't listen to me) Dusclops: level 43 (Curse on Gengar helped a lot) Arcanine: level 45 Whiscash: level 45 I finished whatever stock of Hyper Portions/ Revives/ Cotton Candy I had :/ But, ah well. At least I can proceed forward in the game now. Thanks a lot guys for helping me out. Whiscash was mainly what wiped out most of her Pokemon and I'm glad I was able to get through her gym.

Okay, so like you suggested, I worked on a new team: Whiscash (Hydration, level 43): Mud Bomb Rest Water Pulse Magnitude Meowstic (Male, Prankster, level 45): Psychic Psybeam Psywave Fake Out Arcanine (Flash Fire, level 45): Flamethrower Flame Burst Fire Fang Retaliation Drapion (Shiny, level 41, Battle Armour ): Night Slash Hone Claws Venoshock Toxic Spikes Magneton (Sturdy, level 41): Spark Thunder Wave Thunder shock Magnet Bomb Dusclops (Frisk, level 43): Curse Shadow Sneak Shadow Punch Confuse Ray I've lost so many times against Aya now. My money is all gone and my Skuntank, Swanna and Garbordor have gone above 45. Now I don't even have money to buy Common Candy and level them down. Magneton gets belted with Tentacruel's Muddy Water and now that I'm using Whiscash, although it's ground type attacks are super effective, that one Giga Drain by that stupid Muk is enough for a knockout. Arcanine gets pasted by Nidoqueen's Earth Power and Dradalge's Hydro Pump. Drapion's Night Slash and Gengar's Shadow Ball are enough to KO Dusclops and Meowstic. This gym leader is getting onto my nerves now :/

Hey guys! I'm stuck in a horrible situation in Aya's gym. All my Pokemon are at level 45 about to go to 46. I'm sure once that happens, all my Pokemon will start disobeying me. And the funny thing is, I'm not even able to get through her first two Pokemon, i.e, Tentacruel and Muk! Here's my team: Skuntank: Toxic Acid Spray Night Slash Flamethrower Garbordor (Shiny): Toxic Sludge Bomb Sludge Toxic Arcanine: Flamethrower Fire Fang Flame Burst Retaliation Emolga: Electro Ball Shock Wave Pursuit Acrobatics Swanna: Bubblebeam Water Pulse Aerial Ace Air Slash Heatmor: Fury Swipes Bug Bite Flame Burst Snatch This is the team I used in my first battle against Aya and got royally screwed. I also have the following Pokemon of level 45, which I have deposited at the moment in my PC: Chesnaught: Spiky Shield Bite Mud Shot Seed Bomb Dusclops: Curse Shadow Punch Shadow Sneak Confuse Ray Apart from these there's Mareep, Cacnea, Houndour, Buizel, Shiny Skorupki, Espurr, Spoink, Azurill, Ditto, Chespin, Smoochum, Panpour, Shiny Oddish, Pachirisu, Glameow, Lilipup, Snubull, Drifloon and Happiny who are of very low levels and just lying in the PC. What do you suggest I do? That Tentacruel is owning my Emolga with Icy Wind so can't even use electric moves to counter :/

Hmmm. I guess it'd be a tie between Assassin's Creed (specifically speaking, the entire Ezio series and AC4) and Darksiders II. Hated AC3 and Darksiders 1 and not a huge fan of Altair. Any game involving Ezio had an incredible storyline. Same holds true for Death, from Darksiders 2. Also, the gameplay in AC4 was awesome. Much better than any of the previous versions, but I still miss the hookblade

So, I just came across this site and decided to become an official member in it. Thought of introducing myself before posting anything else. Hope I'm doing this the right way though, haha! I just started playing Reborn a few days ago and am absolutely thrilled by the dark, yet fascinating ambience it provides.Currently, stuck at the Lapis Ward gym 'coz of Sheely's ridiculously powerful Yanmega and only-weak-to-fire Wormadam. I don't have a fire-type yet, so it's pretty hard for me to beat her. My current team consists of a Spoink, Shiny Trubbish, Ducklett, Quilladin, Stunky and Emolga (all between levels 32 and 34). Don't own a 3DS, so decided to try out some Gen6 Pokemon here and chose Chespin as my starter, since Chesnaught looked pretty badass. So far, I'm finding Quilladin to be okayish.. Nothing extraordinary. Hopefully, Chesnaught will be better with it's spiky shield. About me? Well, I'm just a 20 year old university student who's a huge pokefan. I prefer playing rom-hacks nowadays over the original Nintendo roms as most of them have a better storyline and gameplay. I love rock/metal and play guitar. I also love anime and have started cosplaying since July 2014 ('coz before July 2014, I didn't find any suitable venue or ocassion to cosplay for). I love reading novels, mostly thrillers though. My absolutely favourite Pokemon is Hydreigon, but there are also loads of other pokemon I like such as Beartic, Oshawatt/Samurott, Bidoof ( only 'coz of it's derpiness and the trolls made on it), Quagsire, Pikachu ( I hate it's HP stats though), Chimchar/Infernape..... and the list goes on... So, I hope I'll get along well with people here. Hope to make a lot of friends and have loads of fun! Cheers!
