Also a bit of research made it clear no bugs that even -look- like they should own Surf exists: The only one that does is already so strong our resident bug gym leader uses it: and it would clearly get way too much type coverage if it had Surf.

If she's willing to do that, do you think Ame might be willing to, when the time comes, "teach" a bug that looks like it plausibly could learn Surf, Surf?

Are you sure every monotype is possible? I don't think ANY bugs can learn surf. I always have to put a non-bug pokemon in my party for swimming.

I moved here because my parents insisted I should take on another league. But you know? The world has changed a lot since the time I took on the Hoenn league. It's not like pokemon have gotten smarter, or something... but there is a lot more of them, and honestly? I kind of got lucky in the first place. I was always right where I needed to be. I'm not really a pokemon champion, it was luck when I took down.magma. Honestly, if it wasn't me, it would have been someone else. That doesn't really matter to Father though; when he says it's time to get moving, it's time to get moving. He's probably just hoping I'll start a new life over here, far away from him and Mother. We've not gotten along all too well lately after all. It's only later that I remembered that, as a pokemon league champion, my pokemon were bound to the region. I'm not really just allowed to take them with me, when I start over in a new league. One has to prove they are prepared to take on a league only with the pokemon they can find natively. I'm sad to see my team go, but they'll do fine without me, and I can always see them over video conference. Plus, it means Father will have to deal with me coming for a visit once in a while, if just to see Alivia. It was just about when I was thinking about these things that it happened: Ame walked into my car, and started telling me about the reborn league, next thing I knew, an explosion was going off. It's all a blur really, one moment I'm in the train, the next I've been ejected from my seat, and straight out the window. I thought for certain I was going to die, yet when it was all over, I was lying perfectly intact next to a pile of rubble. Before I'd even fully figured out I was alive, Ame ran up to me, and checked if I was ok. Then just said "yeah the train blew up"... like it wasn't even something to be worried about? Same for this Julia girl that joined the scene soon after. Once I could walk, they sent me over to the pokemon center, and we went through all that basic stuff. I even made two new friends, though the one named Cain looked pretty funny. Father wouldn't approve. Reborn looks like shit. No offense to the natives, if they find and READ my journal, you know, without permission, but yeah. This place really is terrible looking. I thought it was just because of the train crash, but it seems Ame wasn't lying when she said polution has basically destroyed the region. It's not what I'd call home, but few trainers can claim they've taken on two seperate pokemon leagues. With the train out of comission, I have to stay for a while, so I might as well try to make the best of it. I got a piplup: her name is Satisfaction, and she is lovely.

...TM's are reusable? Is that a reborn thing or did that become a TM feature at some point? My last pokemon game before this one was ruby.

presumably, this encounter is managable with effectively a team of 5? Or do you need to somehow keep the pokemon in question competitive too? Would make me a bit sad for my bug-type roleplaying.

I'm requesting vague spoilers. Is there any times where I am required to have a pokemon in my party for a gym, that I otherwise might not want to? Like a Gym, or battle like the Arceus one I hear so much of, I can only get to via Surf, or otherwise, would force me to change my team because of a move that is required (not recommended, literally required) to access the area?

So I heard on "on the hunt" that there is a garden where Cherubi can be found. Can I hunt down this item and similar "held items" by catching tons of a random pokemon?

but it's not like simply "picking" something worse. It's not wasting 20 hours of my life for a small stat-bonus. I have better uses for that time.

The thing with EV's is I've never found reason to put in the time investment, even for official games. Let alone a hack-rom. It's a feature of pokemon I've never gotten into. I'm glad it's not an edge that ame is expecting us to use in order to advance.

Honestly EV training is a very silly bit of micro. if I knew how I'd simply hack my EV's to be what they "need to be"

Ah yes, it would help if I posted the list of ones I know I already have one for: Fire: Vulpix Lightning: Pachirisu Normal: Linoon, but there is like a billion good normals so... Grass/Poison: Roselia Bug: Kricketune I GUESS (Please help me find an actually -cute- bug... :c) Flying: Pidgey/Spearow (If they exist) Dark: Purloin Water: Azumarill... BUT I know Ame is moving this one so it won't exist anymore. I'm thinking maybe one of the starters, but idk.

Got any good suggestions? I like to use cute pokemon, or small, pokemon when possible. Things like Pidgey, or a Vulpix (never to be evolved) are the sorts of things I tend to use. But I need pokemon that actually -exist- in reborn, at least 1 of each "type". Anyone want to go on an ultimate cutie hunt with me?

So if I'm playing 14.1 right now, is it worth upgrading to 14.6 presently...It looks like 15 is rather close to being done, is it worth putting the machine through the risk of two seperate updates?

What happens when Ame removes OP pokemon? Do people that already have it keep it, or does it just go *poof*?
