    I've been stuck on Skeletron in Terraria for about 4 days now. I feel dead inside.

      Ranged is typically waht you want or a piercing weapon of some sort. If you got an excess of mana Vilethorn is okay though it's damage output is low. Spears are abotu the only melee weapon you can stay far away enough with. Moblity is important so that you can cover more ground. You need to be able to run from him.

      Basically, have the room to maneuver around him so you can dodge. Running strigaht away from him is a lot easier than jumping over him etc imo.
