  1. I'm just answering a question, I didn't mean to say that we should all go hardcore strategy mode or anything, I'm just saying if you're trying to take a more strategic approach, here's a few ways to do it.
  2. Yes but then you have to deal with having a statistically worse Pokemon for a while, until the hosts decide to steer the odds into your own favor, which will take quite some time. And at the same time, there will be those who have been grinding their perfect links from the start and will be up to their final evolution of their perfect link when you are simply obtaining the basic form of your own, so really you can have a mad rush in the start by getting a nice strong Poke as your PL and grabbing it from the get go, or you can play the long game and attempt to use a weaker Pokemon but with your stats improved until you can finally obtain your PL.
  3. I think she's currently neutral, but if G.Gardevoir were to alert her as to what her son was doing and tried to do to Luna... we might be able to get her assistance.
  4. From what's been said so far, it sounds like you can start with any Pokemon (probably not legends) but your perfect link is probably going to be an excellent Pokemon you can use in various ways, which will cost a lot of your starting Warrior Points. So you can start with your Perfect link, but you might start out with something similar and cheeper to be able to distribute your starting points more variedly.Edit: Also, quick question, what about borderline tiers and their pokemon, such as Shuckle.
  5. Forum name: AuthorReborn Time on Reborn: I started in July but registered on the forums after that. Favorite Genre: RPG/Strategy, so something like Pokemon Conquest suits me perfectly. Notable skills: I can write quite skillfully, I am an expert liar, and I'm also quite knowledgeable, humble. Also, when I put my mind to something I *will* accomplish it. Hobbies: Writing, Speech and Debate, playing games. Best Trait: EXTREMELY strong willed Worst trait: Pathological liar One sentence: I am a pretty simple guy who wants to help others. Why we should pick you for Survivor Reborn: I was on the website and it caught my eye, so I decided to try it out. There's nothing particularly great about me, I just think it'd be interesting to join.
  6. You can get a Pumpkaboo from the Beryl Ward Graveyard or you can use it to get a Litwick from 7th Street.
  7. Don't even need EVs for this fight, seriously. Edit: You're right, some people have more trouble than others, sorry. Rock slide+rain dance is your friend in this fight though guys.
  8. The guy with the piplup is actually on the little den where you first found Bennett down there.
  9. Well our circle of allies is kinda dwindling at this point, with betrayals and murders and simply getting separated. Aya captured, Saphira is about to go on a rampage, Terra probably running around doing the same, Samson and Ciel tied down at the circus, Amy and the steel leader having jumped off a waterfall, Adrienne tying to restore the city and Eclipse is dead. Kiki with her. Fern joined Team Meteor, Ame is working her rear offf at the Grand Hall thing. Heather is trapped with Blake and Victoria is stuck at the academy. I feel like we're heading towards a conflict in which all of our remaining allies band together and make a stand, and only a few of them will make it our alive. It really is a shame that Samson is stuck down in the circus because his six Pokes with brick break would work wonders on that Mr. Mime screen.
  10. I believe you can obtain it from circus games in episode 12 and i know you can obtain it from the TPP Helix Cult- I mean "Religion" Missions.
  11. I love the idea, and I feel like it's a very "Reborn" like idea, ya know? Like how in the actual game Ame made you're forced to use Pokemon you probably glanced over and never paid a second glance to in the main games like Litleo. And I also love it because I happen to really love some of the Pokemon that aren't that good in battle, but are either straight up awesome in design. Also, quick question, if you were to say, choose a Shedinja as an example, would it retain the ability, in this case Wonder Guard, or would it just be without its prized ability and be at a huge disadvantage? Edit: Also, another question, just cause I'm so curious about this idea. Anyway, legendaries. In PC, you could eventually link with certain legends if you had the right warlords. Will this be a thing or no? Like it could be that, based on your regular perfect link, you could potentially link with Legendaries of the same type? For example, say a guy has a perfect link with Charizard, he could potentially obtain and perfect link with a Moltres as well? And everyone who's in the game could join a giant race to try and obtain these Legends and if you obtain it without your perfect links matching up you could trade it off to someone else who could put it to use? Probably not, I'm just speculating because I am super hyped for this XD.
  12. Awesome thanks. I doubt we'll have new data about the megas by next Monday, although Project Pokemon hacked through the demo and found the exact changes in the BST of all of the Pokes so we could go off of that.
  13. "Each Pokemon will be naturally able to use in a battle all the moves its species can learn via level up and/or via breeding. There will be no 4-moveslots limit. Players will be able to teach their partners moves that their species can only learn via TM or tutoring (as of Gen 6 learnsets), however doing so will cost them 10% Link." -Moves and Battles
  14. I would switch Sandslash out for Flygon before you go into the Agate circus/city. It simply has a more varried moveset and can help deal with dragons. Do this after you defeat Luna though, since the you can get Trapinch with EQ, then breed it in Episode 12 with another Trapinch to get a Flygon that has EQ by the time it would level up normally. Greninja should help out soon enough. I don't know about Arcanine, since I've never used it.
  15. That's just about the best summary for obtaining the item we can give you. The actual place to find Absol is in the Episode 13 part of the game so you gotta beat everything else first.
  16. I'd love to play and I like the concept, although I have a question. Since we can pick any Pokemon with their ENTIRE MOVESET (something that was missing in the actual game and it kinda ticked me off), I would want to choose Ralts for my starter to get up to a Gallade as my perfect link. Would I pay Warrior points based on Gallade being RU or would I wait for the tiers to get scrambled up again arfter ORAS for his mega?
  17. Electrivire is obtainable if you grab the Elekid for 10.5 and previous. However, you can only possibly get him following the defeat of the current release of Episode 13's gym leader. Also, Loudred can hold his own Post-Shade with Scrappy Boomburst on Exploud, which decimates most things. Definitely replace Kricetune though, he becomes obselete following deafeating Taka and ZEL in the double battle. I grabbed an Electrike before the first gym and I've kept it on my team ever since through all the hardest of battles (though I will probably rotate him out at Terra but oh well that's at least a few weeks away). A physical attacker might help you out. If you feel like taking a bit of time to throw effort into it, you could get a Trapinch from the Game Corner. Also you could get Crogunk in a bit, which is fairly good at physical attacking.
  18. The Pokemon you can buy are as follows: Abra (Make sure you get Magic Guard because this is the only one) Cyndaquil (It can actually have Flash Fire even though that's unreleased but oh well) Roggenrola Lickitung Makuita Ditto Vanillite Loudred (Try and get it with Scrappy to hit everything with that powerful Boomburst later on) Jigglypuff
  19. Honestly, she's not hard. Get a rain dancer. Set that up. You could use a Water type and two Flygons to sweep her entire team.
  20. If you can, get a strong, dependable rock type and someone to set up Rain to destroy the field and keep solar beam from killing it. Your Sesimitoad should work for rain, but you will likely get outsped and SolarBeamed so be extremely careful. If you lead with Gardevoir and Trick Room, then you should be completely fine. and you could probably EQ with Mamoswine to destroy most of her Pokes. Be aware of Solar Beams which will slaughter this strat. Without knowing your movesets, natures, and such, that's all I can say.
  21. I believe they're talking about the currently incomplete Gyrados event.
  22. No wait nvm I confused myself and assumed that we were talking about the player having a Rotom W or something, sorry. You're right. But still, only use Castform for Rain Dancing.
  23. No eviolite yet, so go with Dusknoir or Cofagrigus
  24. Electric is neutral and all you really need it for is to destroy the field and to reapply rain after the second Ninetails.
