  1. "You know, you don't need to always have a strategy. Just do what you feel right. Before I used the close up strategy with Sherlock, because he lacks speed. But with my girl now, I don't really need one. I just do what I feel it's the best." "But I can't be reckless... If I don't think things through, someone might get hurt..." Shiro said in response. "Now back to the battle. Charge up once more." Shun was keeping her guard up at this point. She was well aware that she won't be able to count on her trainer for this one but she intended to win neverthless, just for him. The Flaffy released another wave of Thunder Shocks after charging up, covering the whole field once again in a flurry of sparks. "Shun!" This was it, the moment of truth, the moment when she must shine.... "No way... she's ---!" "Kir..." -Magical Leaf- "Lia!" It was as if a rainbow suddenly blitzed around Shun, only to dissapear moments later in an explosion when the electrical attack hit. "Shun, you're a...!" The smoke spiraled down around a beautiful blue-eyed Kirlia. At least a dozen iridescent leaves danced around her sleek silhuette. Shun evolved! "You're beautiful, Shun!" She closed her eyes and smiled. Finally, she was strong enough.
  2. @Tses: Can i write in my post that Miffy attacked again with that thundershock from before?
  3. Without any way to stop her momentum, Shun kept going even after missing Miffy. 'Crap!' As she was basicaly open like a sitting duck now, Miffy easily hit Shun with her Thunder Shock. The Ralts stumbled down and rolled around on the ground for a few feet landing, luckily, still inside the boundaries of the field. 'We lose if we get knocked out of the field... I shouldn't have been so reckless...' "Shun, are you okay?" She just got up and stood facing the Flaffy. She must've had a determined look on her face below all that hair. "I- if you say so." 'Even though Shun missed and got hurt, we now got a clearer idea of their fighting style. That Flaffy will most likely use more of such attacks which hit the whole field and Shun won't be able to hide since there are no shadows here. The only thing we can really do at this point is ensnare her with Shadow Sneak, but that move is only really valid if we have a partner since Shun can't attack while casting it... What should I do?' ((you can move again if you want now since Shiro is indecisive; also, Shun should now be standing closer to Sissy than to Shiro on the field cuz of the combo move, she's somewhere around the corner to the left of Sissy, so she's also quite close to the edge))
  4. You're such a sheepity sheep, Sheep c: But it has been forgiven, so do not worry I was thinking of having Maria initiate the evening meetup ~ she's the only one who hasn't met any of the other Servants yet
  5. "Okay then." Sharph dussapeared in a white flash when Shiro clicked the Poke ball. "Shun, you're up. I'm feeling lucky, so let's win this!" "Ruru ~" Shun jumped down from Shiro's shoulder with a happy chirp. Stupid lizard was gone now. "Uhm, so I will start this round." Shiro returned to his post. 'Battling isn't so bad.' He thought to himself as he pointed his finger forwards. "Shun, let's see what they can do! Let's go with a contest combo, use Astral Breaker!" Shun's horn shone a deep purple as she focused her energy into her right fist and feet, which also began shining, although faintly. "Go!" Shun rose her head and... in a flash, she dissapeared from her spot in a purple blitz. In fact, she launched herself using Confusion and was rushing at Miffy with full speed achieved by that, prepared to strike her with her fist boosted by the same move, Confusion.
  6. Slowpoke collided fiercely with Sharph, but he managed to keep his stance even as the full weight was on his arms. Shiro watched with his eyes wide open how the Slowpoke struggled to get up before being called back into his Poke ball by Sissy. "D- did I win?" His face sprouted an enourmous smile as he rushed to Sharph and pat him on his rough head. "You were awesome!" The Dragon nodded joyfully, but Shun frowned, her horn blinking green out of envy. It wasn't like that big lump of muscle did anything special. "Erm, so now we have to battle with our second Pokemon, right?" Shiro turned to Sissy.
  7. "They got out!" Shiro shouted as Sherlock propeled himself into the air. The Disable locked away Sharph's Bulldoze, but it didn't matter, as the strategy failed anyways, so there was no need to use it again. Besides, they had bigger problems to face now. The Slowpoke was falling down right at Sharph with full force! Actually, this could just end in a tie now, since Sissy's Slowpoke would reieve massive damage after falling straight onto Sharph's spiked hide, but Sharph would also get hurt from the blunt force of the impact. Unless... "Sharph, guard yourself with your arms!" The arms would abosrb most of the impact while still dealing serious damage 'cause of the spikes if positioned right. They could get hurt though... But if it all goes right, maybe Sharph could bounce Sherlock away... It's worth a try. "Now!" Sharph raised his arms above his head, kneeling on the ground as he did so, bracing himself for impact.
  8. Cool Btw, what's the effect of your Diable? Same as in the game or...?
  9. My apologies for the whole situation with Sharph managing to break off the Yawn in my last post, but I really needed Shiro to grow something that resembles a spine before the Winter Cup >3<
  10. Sharph's enormous claws dug deep into the ground where the Slowpoke has been standing just a few seconds ago. The Yawn attack launched by Sherlock hit Sharph succesfully. "Also that Water Gun was part of my plan to lure you closer." "I knew something was odd..." Shiro watched helplessly as the young Druddigon's movements became sloppy and directionless. The shining glow around his claws faded and his eyes began to close, but he was shaking around, trying his best to rid himself of the sleepiness. Shiro's knees began to shake a bit. It was his first time battling with Sharph, and he was about to lose... He could not help but think that way, even though a part of him was relieved that the battle was coming to a non-violent end. "I- I thought... Sharph..." A dark cloud of doubt fell upon his mind, his arms automatically moved up to his chest... 'Should I forfeit? I should, right... I was never good at this to begin with, and it got my friends hurt in the past, so I should just give up... Yes... No... Right? ... No... I can't give up. Didn't I come here in order to overcome my problems? If I give up at this point, it would be like I ran away from them again...' Shiro bit his lip. 'Yes, that's right... I won't lose this fight, I just refuse to lose right now!' "Sharph!" Shiro rose his head up for the first time since the beggining of the battle. "Snap out of it, Sharph! We can't lose this! So-" The Druddigon was looking straight at Shiro. His eyes cleared up and filed with that glow once again. He let out a roar, and turned towards the Slowpoke. Shiro couldn't keep himself from smiling. "Yes!" For a moment, his nervous demeanor dissapeared, replaced by boiling hot blood of a trainer. "Sharph, let's beat them! Use Bulldoze." 'I thought Bulldoze wouldn't be useful since our opponent is a slow Pokemon, but now, after I've seen it in action... He won't be able to use Confusion so easily if he's laying under a pile of dirt!' Sharph jumped up again, but this time, instead of targeting the Slowpoke, he targeted the ground around him. The soil would collapse unto itself and over Sherlock if the attack hits correctly.
  11. The Water Gun hit Sharph directly, bursting into a flurry of water drops upon contact with his hard head, but he didn't even flinch. He just shook his body like a dog to dry himself up a little and let out another roar. Shiro wondered why would she attack a Dragon type with a Water move... He was almost sure she was going to use a status move or a Psychic type move like Confusion. The only explanation that made some sense to him at that point was that she was planning something, and the thought of that made his guts twirl. "Sharph...." 'The best way to go now would be to prepare and take out that Slowpoke before it can do anything.' "Use Hone Claws, and then... follow with a Slash." Sharph nodded and dug his long claws into the ground next to him. Then the Dragon began rushing towards the Slowpoke as fast as it could, dragging the claws behind himself and raising a cloud of dust as the soil was crushed. "Now!" Several feet away from the Slowpoke, Sharph jumped up with his claws now coated in white light. The crumbled soil surrounded him like a cloud as he swung the, now blade-like, claws at his adversary.
  12. "O- okay." Blood rushed through his veins as Sissy sent out her Slowpoke. It has begun. "Sharph, you're up." "Rawr!" The small Druddigon rushed quickly when it heard the command. "Shun, you'll be second, okay?" With a downward motion of his hand, Shiro let Shun climb up on his shoulder where she sat down to enjoy the view. She couldn't miss any opportunity to see any event in which there was even a slightest chance of that Druddigon getting smacked around. "Uhm... You're first, right?" ((Sharph's not much bigger than the Slowpoke cuz he's still a young Druddigon))
  13. Shiro, when he heard his name, walked over to the freshly made field where the prof was standing. Sharph and Shun both stood by his side and, out of the three, Shiro was the only one showing signs of reluctance. He didn't know much about Sissy or her Pokemon, so he could only hope this wouldn't be a difficult battle and it made him nervous. "Uhm... I- I'm here." He said to the prof.
  14. Haha, Shiro is easy to force into doing something even since he wouldn't really fight much against it so it shouldn't be too difficult for Claude to get Shiro's face painted, lol. But he's gonna work at Robert's stand, it has been decided c: @Turbo: I'm glad to be aboard :3
  15. Since I'm back for the duration of the Winter Cup, can shiro help ya with the stall? I was thinking of making a food stall on my own but that ain't Shiro's style (and everybody else is doing food apparently)
  16. Those without social interactions like Sheep's character may move on a bit further if they want to.
  17. Hi, gaiz. :3 Just so that it's known before the battles, Shiro is participating as well, and here is his new Pokemon: Sharph - Druddigon(male), lvl 19 Brave nature -Dragon Rage -Bulldoze -Slash -Bite -Hone Claws -Scary Face
  18. I'll jump to the evening of day 2 once everybody is done ~
  19. "Huh, I see..." Aaron turns around to face Siegfried with his mouth still full of pancakes. "Well, it's a shame, but things like that happen during the heat of battle... Just try to be a bit more careful next time, maybe try fighting in a less densly populated area." He gulps down the last bite and turns the whole chair around with his elbow over the seat. "Hey, don't look so down, mr Siegfried, you're gonna get wrinkles!" A cheerful melody coming from Aaron's pocket fills the room. The chair scrapes the floor as he hastily pushes it away to get up. He takes his phone out, still ringing, and checks the screen. His expression darkens for a moment before returning to normal. The change is barely noticable but you are sure you saw it. Several seconds later, he clicks the end call button without answering and turns to Hels. "I have to go now, sorry. Thank you for the breakfast and hospitality. You're a good cook." He says with a kind smile and begins walking to the door. Halfway to the door, Aaron stops with a face as if he had forgotten something. Moments later he runs back to the table and grabs the jar of Nutella he had left there. "I hope you don't mind me taking this, haha. Well, I'll be off. See ya!" The priest runs out of the house with the Nutella in his left hand and the phone in his right. He redials the phone num er as he rushes and puts it over his ear. You think you can hear him saying something like: "It can't be..." as he runs up the street. He seems to be hiding something. You wonder what could it be and who could have called him on the phone.
  20. "As a matter of fact, I do have something I want to speak to you about." Aaron spoke as he put the groceries in the kitchen and picked up the pancake plate from the fridge. Their smell endeared his empty stomach, brining it to growl. "Oh, sorry about that, haha. These look really good though. And the place too. I'm impressed." He sat down at the dining table with a smile on his face and put the pancakes in front of him. As he glazed them with the Nutella he bought, the priest decided to share what was on his mind. "Uhm... Sorry, it doesn't feel right to me to point my finger at somebody, but I have to ask, so sit down please. You know, I've been in Shinto this morning when I went to buy the groceries for myself and you, and I saw an interesting news report pop up on one of the cafes I walked by. It was about some incidents that happened in the city. Apparently, someone blew up the ground floor of a building, causing the first floor to collapse as well. A family of four was killed then... And the whole atmosphere in that area seemed so heavy. I myself am not a magus so I wasn't sure how to interpret it all, but I feel as if those two things might be connected. I also have my suspicions that you Masters may have been involved in that." His eyebrow raised as he munched the pancake. His shaky gaze was focused on Hels. Aaron did not enjoy questioning him, but he had to as the referee of the war. His duty was to keep it all quiet, so he felt the need to stop any more of such incidents from happening in the future.
  21. Screw Pokemon, I don't even feel like getting ORAS anymore. My love for the franchise kind of just ended al of a sudden. Dunno...

When the Fairies came, I was like "Finally, Steel type moves are now more needed". Oh yeah, same with poison types cuz it kinda sucked that they were only strong against grass before.

Some people die when things change. And others use it to their advantage and prosper. ;)

  22. "Oh, pancakes!" Aaron jumped at Hels's remark. "Al I've had today was some melon bread and that was early in the morning, so I am a bit hungry... Good thing I bought some Nutella in the supermarket." He said as he pulled out the Nutella along with 3 buns of weird looking bread and some frozen meat. "I wasn't expecting them to have any Nutella here, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the supermarket. Oh, and I thought you should buy you some melon bread since, well... I enjoyed it." With the breads in his hands, he started digging around the place searching for something to put them in so they wouldn't dry out. "Erm... do you know some place I could put this? This house is so messy." An awkward smile drew itself upon the priest's face. "I feel kinda bad that you have to live here, haha."
  23. @Flynn: It's all fine, as you said they should know each other, but not only cuz they're both priests, but because it's father Aaron and he travelled with you to Japan. C:
